OlderAnnie Shoots Angelina Again
Four years ago, Annie Leibovitz shot Angelina Jolie for the April 2002 cover of Vogue in their first-ever Shape Issue. Four years later, Annie is at it again with Angelina!
Annie Leibovitz is tired and nursing a cold, and she’ s just flown back to New York on the red-eye from Los Angeles, where she spent two days shooting Angelina Jolie for Vogue. Like so many of her photo sessions, there was nothing simple about it. “I talked with Angelina before the shoot,” says Leibovitz, who’s famous for her preparation. “She felt like she was coming back from having the baby and she felt very sexy and ready to go.” Jolie, a pilot, suggested shooting on an old airfield near the desert, with motorcycles and small planes among the props. (She flew herself to the location and the next day, Brad Pitt buzzed up in his plane.) They also spent a day shooting in the dunes near Death Valley, where the mercury hit 104, and the wind whipped so hard that everyone was peppered with sand. There were 50 people on the set, and racks of clothes from the New York spring collections to be tried and styled. It was as if Leibovitz were directing a small movie.
It’ll be very, very interesting to see how Annie will portray Angelina four years later. Expect Angelina Jolie to grace the November 2006 or December 2006 issue of Vogue. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

It does make you wonder if Gwen is constantly thinking about “what if” Brad and I had stayed together. I know nothing about Chris Martin but I’m not really sure what the attraction was there? It seems like being married to a musician who goes on tour alot is hard to maintain. Kate Hudson just split with her musician husband and has talked about how difficult it was to go on tour with him to try to stay close. Even BBT wanting to go on tour with his band instead of staying with Angelina and Maddox apparently was a big factor in their breakup. All this news about Brad and his exes and what they have lost for not being with him anymore. Well, too bad for them and lucky Angelina!

I’ve seen that video. I also saw it when it was originally aired. It still doesn’t mean that any of us know anything about how he felt and/or feels about Paltrow and it having anything to do with his marriage to Aniston. That’s my original point. It’s all conjecture and always will be, because Brad when he’s done is done and just doesn’t discuss his past relationships

time. But I definitely agree that we shouldn’t respond or even
comment on the nasty posters like the ones that say horrible
things about BAMZS. They really do thrive on this sort of negative
attention. Guli, if you respond back, then these ATTENTION
SEEKERShave WON because that’s precisely what they are looking
for, ATTENTION. The best thing to do is just report the abusive
comment, let JJ decide whether he wants to keep the comment or
not and then move on.
Ignoring these abusive posts is NOT THE SAME AS SETTING THE
RECORD STRAIGHT. I will set the record straight about
innuendos that Brad and Angelina are pocketing the money from
the sale of Shiloh’s pictures by cutting and pasting the IRS write
up about charitable foundations. For me, setting the record
straight on the Foundation business is very important, but I still
DON’T HAVE TO REFER TO ANY SPECIFIC HATER. Just post the
blanket factual response – like that one from the IRS. My
standard response to the cheating comments is to ask how they
know more then Brad’s X and her BFF Courtney Cox who believed
he didn’t cheat. But I don’t waste too much time typing a fresh
response each time.
Also agree with Cliniqua – lets just post the links to the good
stuff. I can read the bad stuff anytime and frankly, when the bad
stuff is published by STAR or Outta Touch etc, I don’t even
bother to glance through those in the supermarket.
Ok, now my 2 cents worth about Brad. This is the first time I
read Brad’s 1998 interview. My 1st cent is how He really knows
how NOT to talk, how to cut someone out from his life: quote:
“I told Pitt I had talked to Paltrow.
“Oh really?” he said, looking surprised. I was about to continue,
but Pitt cut me off. “I don’t want to know what she said.””
“I asked him if he thought he had rushed into his engagement to
Paltrow.
He smiled at my persistance. “No,” he said emphatically. “I
believed.”
“Have you talked to her since?”
He laughed. “It’s done.””
Angelina has the same quality. She knows how to cut her losses
and move on. This is a quality I respect. I don’t like people who
are constantly bemoaning their losses.
It took years for a rapprochment to occur between Gwyneth and
Brad as friends, after she had openly acknowledged that the break
up was her fault. No rapprochment with Juliette Lewis as
evidenced by her own interview (she hasn’t spoken to him in 13
years though she says nice things about him).
Going by past history, I’d say there’s probably (though no one
could know for certain) no going back to Brad’s latest X. She is
cut out and cut off.
My 2nd cent is how Brad appears to have felt for Jennifer. Quote
“For the past several months, Pitt has been going out with
Jennifer Aniston. “Oh God, I don’t know,” he said when I
mentioned her. “I have no idea what to tell you. No idea.” He
wrapped his arms around his chest and looked at me sweetly, but
said no more. ….. With his arms still wrapped around him, he said,
“I’m not in a hurry. Listen, if it’s not right, I don’t want it. I’m
telling you straight: it’s a damned good time of my life.””
It’s interesting that he speaks of Jennifer, after several months of
dating in such ambivalent terms. Contrast that to what he said
about Angelina soon after he started seriously dating her in June
05 “Shes a wonderful woman, great actress, mother etc..” (I
can’t remember the quote exactly but you know which one I
mean).
I do think my initial reaction on seeing photos of his wedding to
Jennifer was right – he settled for Jennifer. She seemed a nice
girl, a little insecure (well, after Gwyneth, perhaps that was a
relief), his family liked her, he was 35 and he wanted kids, and she
probably said she’d love to have them too – as she has been doing
since 2000.
. Just talk about her present life, she is not her past anymore. not that u forget it, u just move on

Brad was in love Gwyneth. He was engaged to her; she cheated on him, got hurted badly by her; then he broke up with her.
Brad loved Jennifer. He got married to her. They had totally different dreams in life. They got divorced.
Brad adores Angelina. He has 3 kids with her which has always been his dream and still head over heels in love with her, shares his life with her.

Ohhh Angelina called up Annie and set up these photos. The
whole conversations during the photo shoot where about Baby
Suri. Annie about went nuts because everytime she asked
Angelina a question, she would just say, “Is she really that
beautiful in person”. At the end of the shoot Annie overheard her
calling Brad, saying “We were supposed to have the most
beautiful chilld, not Tom, lets see if he will let us adopt her!”

Angie’s beauty radiates from the inside out. I think that she looks more gorgeous now in her early thirties. The serene glow on her face reflects the joy and love she has with Brad and their children. As a Brad Pitt fan since Thelma and Louise, it makes my heart swell that he finally found his lovematch. They are both very fortunate to find each other. Angie is a devoted and loving wife/partner, mother and humanitarian. Brad is a very rare find- a committed and loving partner and husband, a great father and humanitarian.
This how I can describe their life:
happiness keeps them sweet, trials keep them stronger, success keeps them grounded.

I really pray that they will be together for a long time. They are my source of happiness right now. Whenever my day is going bad, I would think about their family and smile. They are doing the things that I would like to do if I ever have the kind of money that they do!
