OlderAnnie Shoots Angelina Again
Four years ago, Annie Leibovitz shot Angelina Jolie for the April 2002 cover of Vogue in their first-ever Shape Issue. Four years later, Annie is at it again with Angelina!
Annie Leibovitz is tired and nursing a cold, and she’ s just flown back to New York on the red-eye from Los Angeles, where she spent two days shooting Angelina Jolie for Vogue. Like so many of her photo sessions, there was nothing simple about it. “I talked with Angelina before the shoot,” says Leibovitz, who’s famous for her preparation. “She felt like she was coming back from having the baby and she felt very sexy and ready to go.” Jolie, a pilot, suggested shooting on an old airfield near the desert, with motorcycles and small planes among the props. (She flew herself to the location and the next day, Brad Pitt buzzed up in his plane.) They also spent a day shooting in the dunes near Death Valley, where the mercury hit 104, and the wind whipped so hard that everyone was peppered with sand. There were 50 people on the set, and racks of clothes from the New York spring collections to be tried and styled. It was as if Leibovitz were directing a small movie.
It’ll be very, very interesting to see how Annie will portray Angelina four years later. Expect Angelina Jolie to grace the November 2006 or December 2006 issue of Vogue. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Hey guys, I tried to post on the other thread but couldn’t. Anyway, with respect to FF (B&A Forum)… it seems like they have a new Administrator and there was one thread which indicated that they will be closing down on Monday. I am not sure if it is tomorrow or next Monday.
Hmmm… that’s good news AND bad news, you know. They’ll all be over here spooing goo. At least somebody over there realizes it needs closing. It’s toxic.

Does anyone have a copy of or a link to the article from 4 years ago. I’d like to get an idea of what their interviews are like.

I had this response for the other thread but got “locked” out. Anyhoo, I don’t think I am feeling that shut down thing on FF. I seriously take issue with it. How very irresponsible of FF…..that’s like a mental Institute Closing its doors without making arrangements for the patients. Very, very reckless of them….releasing these Psychos to the general public.

While I’m thrilled that FF finally got some responsibility. As I said on the Shiseido thread, I worry where they will go. I’m thinking typekey might be necessary. Alll that hate has to go somewhere. While WE might not be popular on sites like Perez, the Anistonistas will be hated and put down quickly and unless we raise the drawbridge, they may come here.

Here comes the nastiness. And after spending all that time on youtube, absorbing the BA love.. I suppose that we’ll have to ignore them. Unfortunately, some of the nastier ones will make it impossible.
As for AJ and Annie Leibovitz, I’m looking forward to the pics and the article. It’ll be my first time buying a Vogue. I’m not too into fashion mags.

That is great,I adore Vogue and Angelina is always a good choice for the cover,and it seems like it will be a very hot photoshoot.Sexy Angelina is back i am really looking forward to this issue.

If I am correct the FF ‘close on Monday’ is just a joke some wacko
named “Lena” posted. I will believe it when I see it happening. But
unlike FF, in here if they start wishing death, insulting children with
racist comments, we can ask Jared to strike it.
I have no doubt they will be beautiful pictures. Kind of hard to go wrong with Angie as the subject.
