OlderAnnie Shoots Angelina Again
Four years ago, Annie Leibovitz shot Angelina Jolie for the April 2002 cover of Vogue in their first-ever Shape Issue. Four years later, Annie is at it again with Angelina!
Annie Leibovitz is tired and nursing a cold, and she’ s just flown back to New York on the red-eye from Los Angeles, where she spent two days shooting Angelina Jolie for Vogue. Like so many of her photo sessions, there was nothing simple about it. “I talked with Angelina before the shoot,” says Leibovitz, who’s famous for her preparation. “She felt like she was coming back from having the baby and she felt very sexy and ready to go.” Jolie, a pilot, suggested shooting on an old airfield near the desert, with motorcycles and small planes among the props. (She flew herself to the location and the next day, Brad Pitt buzzed up in his plane.) They also spent a day shooting in the dunes near Death Valley, where the mercury hit 104, and the wind whipped so hard that everyone was peppered with sand. There were 50 people on the set, and racks of clothes from the New York spring collections to be tried and styled. It was as if Leibovitz were directing a small movie.
It’ll be very, very interesting to see how Annie will portray Angelina four years later. Expect Angelina Jolie to grace the November 2006 or December 2006 issue of Vogue. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

I’m sure Brad is picturing Angie in a sari already. I love the designs and styles of saris — they are the most beautiful clothes and dresses in the world.

You’re absolutely right! it is about the quality of life. We’re all gonna die some day, that’s a certainty, so instead of dwelling on death, enjoy life. Okay, I’m about to go country, jus warning you. Tim McGraw has this song “Live like you were dying” and I swear anytime I hear that song, I just want to run out there and start doing things. The song is about a guy who finds out he is dying and when asked how do you take that kind of news, he goes…..

Honestly, that last sentence just touches me because it makes you think…… Why wait until you are dying to start enjoying life? Everytime we get a tomorrow, we are getting a gift. Of course, I am not advocating reckless behavior but come on, have some fun!

You know what I have observed….JA is always looking uncomfortable in all her pictures. Candid and posed….it’s like she isn’t comfortable in her own skin and then I thought maybe that’s it. The woman isn’t comfortable with who or what she is. Okay, let me rephrase that, she isn’t comfortable in the box people have put her…to be America’s Sweetheart, butter won’t melt in her mouth kind of girl and she is not brave enough to do something about it. I am not saying go pose for playboy or something thay drastic but do something…..be herself. This is why I appreciate AJ, she has purged herself of the mistakes she did in the past and now she freely lives her life. Now one has any golden expectations of her because she has already set it straight that ‘look, I may be famous but I am just like you. I have done things that have been good and some not so good but hey, that’s to be expected because I am HUMAN!”
Can anyone honestly see JA coming out and talking about her past mistakes and I’m not talking abour “hair extention” regrets. Not me, because I believe she is really all about the image. To be quite honest, I don’t dislike the woman, I feel sorry for her.

Ooooh, you just put a picture in my head. AJ in Sari will be a beautiful sight. I’d recommend a red Sari with gold trimmings…..I can just see her dark hair cascading down her back. Leo Dicaprio is getting rave reviews for his roll in the Departed. Wonder if his would be a supporting role leading role? I really want Brad to get nominated for Babel..and of course win.

No. Aniston doesn’t have anything to do with Plan B and/or any of the productions that are coming out. She has no association with Plan B

658 | African Girl - What a marvelous post. I agree 100% too. she is ALWAYS uncomfortable. I think that’s part of why I can’t stand to see her on the late night shows. I hate it when stars make me feel embarassed for them! To be kind, maybe in her unhappy childhood she fantasized about what stars were like and she feels she falls short of the fantasy - which she does. The trying for “perfection” - isn’t that what we all love about Angie? That she freely states she’s NOT perfect?

No she’s not. She’s not a silent anything to do with this production. All of Aniston’s ties to Plan B were severed when Brad Pitt bought her out and gave her two projects she wanted. Kristen Hahn is listed because she did actually work on the film while still at Plan B. Which of course we know Brad fired her in August of 2005 but Aniston has no ties silent or otherwise to Plan B
I know some here were talking about X stalking Brad .
I also found it odd that she named her production company Plan B films.
Brad’s production company is called Plan B entertainment.
This is creepy. First flying to London, then renting a home in Malibu, and now this.
