OlderAnnie Shoots Angelina Again
Four years ago, Annie Leibovitz shot Angelina Jolie for the April 2002 cover of Vogue in their first-ever Shape Issue. Four years later, Annie is at it again with Angelina!
Annie Leibovitz is tired and nursing a cold, and she’ s just flown back to New York on the red-eye from Los Angeles, where she spent two days shooting Angelina Jolie for Vogue. Like so many of her photo sessions, there was nothing simple about it. “I talked with Angelina before the shoot,” says Leibovitz, who’s famous for her preparation. “She felt like she was coming back from having the baby and she felt very sexy and ready to go.” Jolie, a pilot, suggested shooting on an old airfield near the desert, with motorcycles and small planes among the props. (She flew herself to the location and the next day, Brad Pitt buzzed up in his plane.) They also spent a day shooting in the dunes near Death Valley, where the mercury hit 104, and the wind whipped so hard that everyone was peppered with sand. There were 50 people on the set, and racks of clothes from the New York spring collections to be tried and styled. It was as if Leibovitz were directing a small movie.
It’ll be very, very interesting to see how Annie will portray Angelina four years later. Expect Angelina Jolie to grace the November 2006 or December 2006 issue of Vogue. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Oh goddam, I agree! Angie has made Brad seem so much more masculine by bringing the Papa Bear out in him, which is totally sexy, for sure! Reminescent of my fav line from MAMS, “Come to Daddy!” haha!! I just have to think she calls him Big Daddy and it reeeaaallly turns him on, LMAO!
I just googled her name and the word “fired” and I saw a few links.. mostly gossip links.. And they all mention that an US weekly “source” claimed he screamed at her.

This reaffirms what some others have implied here by saying that Huvaniston and U.S. weekly had some sort of deal about the engagement story except that it backfired.
If all the stories found on google link back to the U.S. weekly story as the source, then it’s very likely that X’s friends and Huvane were leaking information to this tabliod specifically, since the story of firing Hahn turned out to be true. Of course, they probably had a deal to spin every story to make Brad and Angie look bad and make Jenjen come out looking like a saint.

thought it was so strange that she talked out of turn. Any idiot would no not to break a contract. I think she was expecting something in return from Aniston and got it. Sort of a payoff. She risked alot doing that and had to have know it would result in a getting fired.

But I wonder what kind of payoff did she get? I think it was pretty dumb on her part. Risking being fired from a pretty good job for what? You know X hasnt been doing any baby sitting for her, that is for sure. I mean, if she wont babysit her own Godchild!

I think Kristin Hahn was pregnant at the time of firing. I don’t beleve about the part him yelling at her though.

I think the payoff was perhaps co partnership in any comapny Aniston starts. Or she took pitty on Aniston b.c she laied it on thick giving her biased view of why her marriage ended. But that is too Lifetime Tv movie for me. I think it was $$$

Let me see if I have this right… it’s okay for X to feel ’shocked and betrayed’ when she saw the W layout and pics of BAM in London in summer ‘05, despite her knowledge that the marriage was over in summer ‘04. But BP is a ******* for feeling betrayed when, clearly, a feeding frenzy was going on for any tidbit confirming that battle lines were being drawn?
It is one thing if this woman made consistent comments about the state of BP and X’s marriage; she opted to speak during a chaotic and inopportune time. And for what purpose? It was safe to assume that X was upset, hell, the press framed her in that light. The real question is how uspet was she, really? But no, no one bothered to ask at that time and they still haven’t asked, after she admitted in Vogue that the marriage was over in summer 2004. If this was a gesture of friendship, it wasn’t well thought out; if you empathize with someone, you call them and offer your support, not offer it via a worldwide publication.
Gitane - I also would like to send my congrats to you. I just found out yesterday that my brother and his wife are also expecting a baby. So exciting!

Of course she would approve. That VF interview was so manufactured, it’s sickening. I wonder if X had not known what Hahn was going to say in that interview, would she have still “approved”?

Grrr! Dumb ass Us magazine. Brad might not have yelled at her, but I am sure he was firm and unmoving in his convictions. I wouldn’t have wanted to have been her at that moment.
And also, let me add, it’s funny I hate Lifetime and WE Channel so much, especially since it’s Jen A’s next career stop. Yep, she’ll go the way of Valerie Bertinelli, Jacklyn Smith and Melissa Gilbert…..straight to the my-husband-beats-me/my-child-is-missing/my-teenager-is-a-serial-murderer movies.

thanks you guys! but just to clarify–i’m not pregnant! what i’m doing is researching my adoption options and i’ve made tentative plans to travel to ethiopia late next year. that’s why i’m such a fountain of information about international adoptions. in between posts, i’ve been on adoption websites and talking to people who’ve already been through the process. i maynot have a child by the end of next year, but i’ll most likely have begun the process.
