OlderAnnie Shoots Angelina Again
Four years ago, Annie Leibovitz shot Angelina Jolie for the April 2002 cover of Vogue in their first-ever Shape Issue. Four years later, Annie is at it again with Angelina!
Annie Leibovitz is tired and nursing a cold, and she’ s just flown back to New York on the red-eye from Los Angeles, where she spent two days shooting Angelina Jolie for Vogue. Like so many of her photo sessions, there was nothing simple about it. “I talked with Angelina before the shoot,” says Leibovitz, who’s famous for her preparation. “She felt like she was coming back from having the baby and she felt very sexy and ready to go.” Jolie, a pilot, suggested shooting on an old airfield near the desert, with motorcycles and small planes among the props. (She flew herself to the location and the next day, Brad Pitt buzzed up in his plane.) They also spent a day shooting in the dunes near Death Valley, where the mercury hit 104, and the wind whipped so hard that everyone was peppered with sand. There were 50 people on the set, and racks of clothes from the New York spring collections to be tried and styled. It was as if Leibovitz were directing a small movie.
It’ll be very, very interesting to see how Annie will portray Angelina four years later. Expect Angelina Jolie to grace the November 2006 or December 2006 issue of Vogue. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

I believe Angelina is a beautiful person, and no one can take that away from her. However, she looks a little malnourished in these pictures and pale. Never the less, she is a pretty woman

76 | foodie - I agree, she is a very beautiful woman and I can’t wait for the new Vogue and the new Angie. I wouldn’t think BP sat in on any of JA’s shoots. I never saw or read anything of that nature. Brad and Angie have a very special relationship that neither had before. They definitely enjoy being and doing things together.
That interview blew my mind. This woman is so amazing. I hope history treats her well. She’s so refreshing and real in a way that most people will never be.

She did some modelling when she was a teenager.Not sure if she did some runway walks.
I noticed too , she has a model’s perfect facial expressions ( brooding, pouty) in her ST. JOHN’s spread. Too bad , her haters thinks she is that way in person. ..
This new photo shoot will probably be different from the 1st one. Maybe a little less on the sexy
side but more on the mature/ career looks.

Re interviews, i really hope they dont bring up the blood viels, kissing her brother, her mom and dad divorcing etc. everyone already knows this, each interviewer doesn’t have to talk about it. Just talk about her present life, she is not her past anymore. not that u forget it, u just move on

Motorcycles because that is her mans hobby, and small planes because is hers one!! love it!!
