The Nicole Richie Tribe Invasion

“Nicole, the Cherokees called. They want their poncho back.”

This isn’t technically a poncho but whatever! Nicole Richie (looking particularly happy) was spotted pumping gas into her car this past Saturday, Sept. 22. Nicole reportedly was talking with ex-BFF Paris Hilton on her cell phone at the gas station. Check out the video.

Just last night, Nicole was seen out partying in a week-long 25th birthday celebration at Mr. Chow’s and the Hyde Lounge in L.A. Boyfriend Brody Jenner and BFF Mischa Barton were among her party of 50 guests. More pictures in the gallery!

UPDATE 1 :: JJ reader creativegirl just saw on the CNN ticker that Nicole Richie just checked into a a clinic. For an eating disorder, most probably. Let’s see what other media outlets will be reporting…

UPDATE 2 :: Nicole Richie updated her MySpace blog! She vehemently denied the rehab rumors and slammed CNN for their reporting. Here’s what Nicole wrote: “Contrary to CNN’s false accusations, I did not check myself into an eating disorder rehab. I dont know why or how this rumor started, but i am home, in LA, and very happy. I do not have an eating disorder, and I don’t know how many times I have to say it. Ive repeated myself so many times, I feel like a broken record. Who ever started this rumor is evil and mean, but its not true. I am happy, and healthy, and living my life.” TEAM NICOLE!

did you see the videos of when these pics were taken? supposedly she was taking to paris hilton. she kept putting paris on loudspeaker to prove it to the paparazzi. and there’s also video footage of paris’s side. public stunt, dumb.

Jared - I just saw on the CNN ticker this afternoon that Nicole checked into a clinic for an eating disorder? Just thought you’d like to know and follow-up. If true, I’m glad that she will finally be getting some help for herself.

another woman useless, untalent, and that not care the world. Use your money to help the people, why you don’t go in Africa and adopt a child, you create a fondation of charity to help the Global and Doctor without borders. Makes charity Nicole and maybe your life will not be useless

I believe her when she says she doesn’t have an eating disorder. Obviously, she checked into a clinic for drug abuse and that’s why she’s a starvation poster child.

I’ve been looking everywhere online to see if I can find any info on this story, but it’s not coming up anywhere. I know that I saw it for sure - Maybe the tickers jumped the gun or got false information. It wouldn’t be the first time. I’ll keep looking because now I have to prove I’m not crazy or making this up!

I just saw it on the Headline News channel ticker, while Nancy Grace’s show is on. I only caught the tail end of it, will keep watching to try and get it all.

That eating disorder thing can’t be true, no one else is reporting it maybe the ticker said something slightly different. Had it been true TMZ, Perez etc would all be all over it, including X17 who have photog’s permanently on her… they would have reported it.

I believe her when she says she doesn’t have an eating disorder. I am not sure if I believe the video of them being friends again. Until the publically state it, I am going to be skeptical. Although I do hope they become best friends again.

Okay - So I’m glad someone else saw it. I fell asleep watching Nancy Grace before it came back again on the crawl. This is the weirdest thing - I wonder why it’s not plastered all over the entertainment news outlets. JJ will find out what’s up I’m sure.

Then i wanna know one thing. Is it true that she and Paris are back together? Neither TMZ, perezhilton, people magazone etc have a comment about it. Is it true or what? My friend e-mailed perez and he said that he don’t think it’s true that Paris and Nicole are friends… hmm someone who got it all right about this mess?

Because she’s lost so much weight so quickly!

Whether she does or not I don’t know. But this is a touchy subject for me because i was very ill a few years ago and lost a significant amount of weight. While I was battling illness and suffering terribly, I find out some of my ‘friends’ were passing rumors around that i had an eating disorder. And it hurt me very deeply.

So if she’s not anorexic, I totally understand her wrath. She speaks familiar words… “I don’t know how many times I have to say it. I’ve repeated myself so many times. I feel like a broken record” Yup. Totally. She sounds as frustrated as I was. I hope she’s telling the truth.

I’m also sick of people slamming her for being troubled in whatever ways she is. Her FATHER reads these things! I read an article recently where Lionel talked about how much the negative press and jibs about his daughter are hurting him. Have some respect for him at least.. I’m not crazy about her but I also can’t believe how mean and speculative people can be sometimes. Even if she is anorexic, people should feel for her and not talk about her as if she were somehow less than human..

Besides.. didn’t this article start out by talking about what she was wearing?? These ‘updates’ are off topic methinks…
