Angelina Visits Mommy Dearest
Angelina Jolie took the time yesterday afternoon to visit her mom, French actress Marcheline Bertrand, at L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills before leaving the country. (Marcheline is reportedly battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy sessions.) Angelina will be traveling to India within the next few weeks for a reported month-long trip to shoot the upcoming film A Mighty Heart — she plays Marianne Pearl, the wife of the slain Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl. Angelina was spotted chatting away on her cell phone in the car after visiting her mom. Brad Pitt was spotted visiting The Ermitage Hotel later on his motorcycle. Funny inset picture, no? (:

Greetings all. I hope lifes treating everyone gently. Popping in to say hola to my Jolie-Pitt buds, but also do a quick check of JP news. I’ve missed so much, and I guess I’ll just have to let all the good stuff Jared & Audrey have brought here the last few wks slide on by me for now because time/life won’t allow me to play catch up.
Anyway regarding the present pic’s, it’s a toss up for me. She does look a bit emotional IMO, but of course that doesn’t mean that she is, it just appears that way to me. I wish them all the best and a safe productive trip to, and return from India, and that they have wonderful stories to tell Marcheline about their travels. I guess they’ll come back, and then get ready to move to NOLA for the BB movie….what an AMAZING life they live…so blessed.
Elena, has anyone spoken with her? How are things going for she and her daughter? They are so much on my mind, and I just want her to know that she’s loved.
I’m going to try and pop in a bit later but if I’m not able, everyone take care and love and miss you guys seriously!

#237 Arlene: There are two pictures of Z smiling — one was posted in People Mag. when she was leaving a trailer with Angie and one at the airport in France when they were all coming back home. I don’t think Z likes all the cameras, people, etc. around — would you? All the fuss might make her nervous. She’s not a pro with the cameras the way Madd is. Also, if you look closely at some of the pictures where the family is swamped with papps, etc., Brad is holding Z and she’s ‘clinging’ tight to his shirt sleeves.

I don’t know who called Z ugly, but ‘their meat should rot in their mouths as they swallow’ for saying something so mean about a little baby. Oh, that’s another one of my Arabic curses!! I like that one alot. and I meant every word!!! They should have a diarrhea attack to last for days for those nasty comments!!!!

It isnt a personal weakness.. in fact, it is a personal strength in a way.. the mind finds of helping someone cope with emotional pain. It in fact does NOT hurt when the person cuts. Only when one gets help to find healthier ways and more skillful ways to cope.. does a person begin to feel physical pain.
Angie doesnt do it any more. Isnt that wonderful? It is a hard thing to over come and I admire her not only for overcoming this illness but also for not being afraid to share her past. I know personally a few people who have been helped by her admission.
We all have different tastes as far as beauty goes. I think Z is beautiful.

Guli I thought you were the one that asked for trolls like that moron to be ignored, but you guys just have to pay them attention, and they keep coming back.
Everybody ignored Ritzy this morning and she snuck away, because no body paid her any attention.
How do you respond to a ***** that says Zahara is ugly? She keeps coming back because she was getting the attention she craved. I don’t know why it is so hard to ignore the trolls that are blatantly stupid.

Btw, some website - which I will not link, known for being a sleazy gossip site supposedly for black folk, is trying to get on Brad for his comment re Z’s hair (’Brad Makes Racial Comments about Zahara’)- completely twisted his words. Again trying to whip up a racial storm in a teapot - that’s how I know that site isn’t really run by black people at all. Just hater white people trying to get on Brad’s case as usual.

I was on some site a while back right after Brad made that statement about those products for Z. there were some who criticized Brad for using the words black people’s hair. These were black people ,. although a lot congratulated Brad for giving those products recognition… and most said these statements wouldnt have caused any problems if said by a black person.
I am glad many on that site were Brad and Angie fans.
Angelina’s mom, Marcheline Bertrand is French-Canadian. French- Canadian, not French- American of French from France.
She is half Iroquois-American and French-Canadian.

Hey Gitane: How you doin girl? Well, people will always find that if they use religion, it will make them feel holy and right because they’ve read the Bible — maybe a few pages here and there, they go to Church — to meet guys, and they like to say that ‘God said’. Now, I was raised Roman Catholic, as you all know by now, and I feel I’m a good girl, but I’ll be damned if someone is going to tell me that ‘God said’. Has ANYONE ever heard God talk to them? I mean, the only people I know are all locked up!!! Do I believe there is a higher power, yes. Do I believe that we should all love and respect one another, yes. But to tell me that ‘God Said’ that being gay is wrong, that’s where I draw the line. MAN SAID BEING GAY IS WRONG!!! Good to see them visiting Angie’s Mom (as they often do), before they leave for Cambodia and then India. I can’t wait to see new pictures of them in India….if I find some on some random Indian website..I’ll be sure to email them in. ;)
Indie - How is Elena doing? I am keeping Elena and her daughter in my thoughts as well.
I don’t think Angelina is crying..she seems to be stressed out by the stalkarazzi flashing those cameras right into her car..I would be a little stressed out by that too. And in one pic, she seems to be smiling…ah well, the debate continues.

Yeah, I know the site you’re referring to, I agree — most of those posters had sense, and were really admiring of both B & A. But the site I just learned of today - is totally a sleazey operation, and they don’t even have boards so people can comment. It’s very shady, and I really doubt it’s a fubu situation, if you know what I mean. lol
