Angelina Visits Mommy Dearest
Angelina Jolie took the time yesterday afternoon to visit her mom, French actress Marcheline Bertrand, at L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills before leaving the country. (Marcheline is reportedly battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy sessions.) Angelina will be traveling to India within the next few weeks for a reported month-long trip to shoot the upcoming film A Mighty Heart — she plays Marianne Pearl, the wife of the slain Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl. Angelina was spotted chatting away on her cell phone in the car after visiting her mom. Brad Pitt was spotted visiting The Ermitage Hotel later on his motorcycle. Funny inset picture, no? (:

If you ask about who is the Hollywood star you hate the answer is Scarlett Johansson. She is the epitome of snobbery and insolence and for Christ sake why? She is a very new actress to act like that in my opinion. Is any of her movies a hit in Box Office? The only movie I have seen with her is “The girl with the pearl earring” a story about a famous painting. She was good at it but nothing so special. And of course she is pretty like any girl under the age of thirty in Hollywood. So please girl show some modesty. Sorry but I just don’t like her at all.

Maniston is her own worst enemy and I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - If Chin had kept her mouth shut and her attack dog Huvane away from Brad’s family then she would have had a powerful friend for life. I don’t even think Brad hates her. I think he’s indifferent towards her and that is a hellava lot worse imo.

Thornton expects to shoot film in Calgary

HOLLYWOOD — Bad Santa is coming to town. Billy Bob Thornton confirms he’s expecting to shoot his next project, the drama Peace Like A River, in Calgary.
“Yeah, that’s what they’re talking about — shooting up there. I’ve shot in Canada before, but not Calgary. I’m looking forward to it.”
Although originally targeted for a fall production start, cameras are now expected to roll on Peace in January or February.
The film, based on Leif Enger’s book, follows a Minnesota family in the 1960s who are tormented by two neighbourhood thugs.
Thornton spoke to the Sun about the movie while promoting School for Scoundrels, which opens Sept. 29. In the comedy, the Oscar winner plays the instructor of a top-secret class that teaches weak guys how to be men. His star pupil is Napoleon Dynamite’s Jon Heder.
Scoundrels continues Thornton’s recent hot streak of comedies, including Bad Santa and Bad News Bears — one he says is coming to an end. “I probably won’t do any comedies for awhile because I’ve done two or three now. Probably my next couple of roles will be dramas. I’ll probably do that for awhile.”
Interestingly, Peace Like A River is being produced by Brad Pitt’s production outfit Plan B.
Pitt filmed The Assassination of Jesse James around Calgary last fall.
Of course we could mention Thornton used to be married to Pitt’s current paramour Angelina Jolie, but you knew that already, right?
Before cameras roll on Peace, a number of other productions will shoot in Calgary this fall, including the ambitious HBO mini-series Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee and Scar, an independent horror flick to be shot digitally in 3D starring cult fave Angela Bettis (May, The Woods).

Plus Brad prodused “Running with sissors” with GP staring in the movie.One of his ex’s.And now they are leaving in a house were Brad and Paltrow used to stay.So I find his comments very positive.And these are few examples that shows how secure and comfortable Brad and Angie are in their relationship.Very genuine and healthy.

Actually AG, it wasn’t always that way between them. When they split, and in the months preceding AJ was pretty disappointed and PO’d about BBT, she’s said so in interviews. Angelina told the truth about BBT when they split — that his priorities had changed overnight, that he was more interested in touring with his band than in being a father or being with her, and that she and he were currently not friends. There’s an interview out there that exists that I’ve read, where she details when she and BBT mended fences — and it was very poignant as Angelina said that it was such a relief to kind of let the anger go, and to become friends again and acknowledge what they both admired about the other to begin with. Angie took out a full page ad when BBT got his star on the Walk of Fame a couple years ago, and said ‘I love your brilliant mind, love Angie.’ She was also very kind re BBT on Inside the Actors Studio.
In a recent interview of hers, she says about both JLM and BBT, that she knows now that she married her friends…as opposed to a ‘love of her life.’ I absolutely adore that quote, because she’s distinguishing Brad from them, and from everyone. :-)
Brad can be confident, because he knows he’s ‘The One,’ baby. :-D
I also like that BBT gave Brad respect by inferring that it had to be OK with BP to begin with, ya know?

I agree with you but…you gotta know that Brad was very disappointed in her after that VF article. After all the nice things he said about her..how she didnt have a mean bone in her body..and how he defended her against what the nasty paps were saying to her and about her. I am glad that Brad now has found someone who is truly FIERCELY LOYAL to him.

Oh yes he was disappointed but he’s been disappointed before (Paltrow) so he’s had experience in dealing with that. Again this is my opinion only since I obviously don’t know the man, I think he has moved way past disappointment and any hatred and has found peace in indifference and he shows that by not mentioning Chin at all, either directly or indirectly.

OMG - this is so true Maniston. I’ve often thought that Brad’s indifference more than anything else has fueled Maniston’s revenge. When faced with total indfference, usually one is not hesitant to torch all bridges (Maniston’s behavior to date - it’s exactly what she’s done). Someone in the last couple of pages of this thread, posted that quote from him, about Paltry trying to “damage his character.” What struck me about that, is how certain and definitive Brad was about who was doing what, his acknowledgement that he had even facilitated this person’s ability to smear him (by being a gentleman), and that how this person (Paltry) was trying to “save themselves.”
When I first read that way back when — I was like DAYUM! Brad is giving that ***** a warning and a half, that if she did not shut the f* up, he was gonna blow it ALL.
So no one can tell me, that 8 years later, Brad would be any less astute, and cognizant of how the game gets played, and what people might attempt behind his back. He knows exactly the game Maniston chose to play, and has outmanuevered her at every turn.
Toronto, a microcosm of the world in it it’s diversity — was confirmation that Brad Pitt is even BIGGER than he was.
It was also confirmation that no one outside of U.S. frat boys who’ve seen ‘Old School’ 50 times, care about Vaughn — as he got little to no coverage in TO. If possible he’s as boring as Maniston, and that’s saying something. There’s no ‘IT’ factor with Vaughn, and hooking up (purportedly) with her whiny, lame boring ass, doesn’t help that very real fact either. Once again, the power of indirect Brad popularity is what got Vaughn’s movie to the top.
