Yes, and I think he is also saying.. you can’t hurt me ..if he HAD responded or even mentioned her briefly, it would be seen by some(namely X) that she still had some importance to him. By not mentioning her at all.. he showed the world where his TRUE interest lies.angie and their kids. And that all those snarky, passive aggressive moves of hers had meant nothing to him. She shot, but no scores were made.

I think BBT overstated things just a bit for the sake of not looking like a complete jerk where Maddox is concerned. To say they’re “friends” is a stretch. It’s probably more like cordial business associates. BBT is doing a movie that Plana B is producing…that’s all. I seriously doubt he calls Ange up just to shoot the breeze.

I don’t agree that Brad would still help her today -her bridges are well and truly burnt in my opinion.

I think the rags that write about ‘phone calls,’ re ‘business discussions’ are only doing it because they know it would never happen, and think it’s a way to irk BAMZS — it’s either that, or ‘Huvaniston’ is planting that sh*t.

Not only has Maniston smeared him and his family (his kids will read that sh*t one day…and he knows that –this is a guy who worries about how to keep them safe, and what impression he leaves, and what they see — so I can’t imagine what it did to him reading those first few Leslie Bennett paragraphs about AJ, Mad & Zee….knowing one day they might too!)

I don’t think Brad would assist in any way, a woman who did THAT.

I think Brad guilt tripped for a while, when Maniston was only holding a grudge because he was in a relationship with Ange (BEFORE VF) — he perhaps was likening his situation to having married an emotionally handicapped person. lol In other words, he may have hated what she did ultimately, but guilt tripped because maybe he felt he should have known she would prove to be as f*cked up as she was - and that this behavior stemmed from her lack of self-esteem and pride.

As she said once; Brad tolerated her ‘crap and issues and dysfunction.’ So he knew she had these issues — and perhaps that’s the only reason she’s still standing today, even after the VF sh*t. He recognizes his culpability in marrying such a weak personality on the rebound, and then splitting. For all her talk, and all Brad’s talk about ‘no pressure of Happily Ever After,’ & ‘We recognize the relationship could die,’ & ‘I don’t know if he’s my ‘true love.’yada yada yada — all things that inferred they had a healthy kind of realism in approach to their marriage (if somewhat non-romantic),etc…..but that was a LIE on her part.

We all KNOW, Maniston would have never, ever, never NEVER walked away or left Brad Pitt.

But it’s almost as if DURING her marriage, her pride demanded she not cop to this fact, and that she play it just as nonchalant as he.

I think Brad recognized that AFTER he left - and maybe he felt some guilt.

But after the VF article sunk in, he was THROUGH.

I think she recognized that, and tried to mend fences after the smarmy weak backstabbing VF was leaked and came out — she was probably like, ‘Oh ****! what have I done?!’ — if you remember she TRIED to say that Leslie Bennetts got some things wrong (like her sobbing over the baby that didn’t exist yet). I also recall she said they talked but it was “pleasant and DONE” on Larry King — that translates into - yes, we are talking again, but HE WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME.

I’m kinda confused about what’s going on. What is this about a press conference in India? What is the press conference about? isn’t Angelina just shooting a part of A Mighty Heart in Pune? And why in the world should their every move be leaked to the public? And why should people believe what’s put out by the “press” LOL!!!! I hope both Brad & Angelina get their WORK done while in India. They are not on vacation. I thought Will Smith was the biggest & most popular American actor in India with his big plans in that country & Bollywood specifically. It’s nice to see that Angelina & Brad are appreciated there as well.
I hope they go about filming the same way they already filmed the parts with Daniel Futterman, discreetly.

1768 | Alexanderina - Alex, he would definitely help her out and the way fate works, she will probably have to seek his help if she wants to make it big or make it at all… like GP, in a way. As they say, never bite the hands that feed you. Angie will not have a problem with that either. I think Brad’s ex’s used him in a way to further their careers… at the least the last two. Funny though, I never liked any of them. I do love Angie and did from the very first time I saw her in Gia. I identify with Angie.
