Angelina Visits Mommy Dearest
Angelina Jolie took the time yesterday afternoon to visit her mom, French actress Marcheline Bertrand, at L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills before leaving the country. (Marcheline is reportedly battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy sessions.) Angelina will be traveling to India within the next few weeks for a reported month-long trip to shoot the upcoming film A Mighty Heart — she plays Marianne Pearl, the wife of the slain Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl. Angelina was spotted chatting away on her cell phone in the car after visiting her mom. Brad Pitt was spotted visiting The Ermitage Hotel later on his motorcycle. Funny inset picture, no? (:

Angleinas looks have really went down hill. When she goes in and out of her crazy state, she has that wacky look in her eyes. I am seeing that look in her eyes lately.
A legal union will give rights to each spouse legally. For example, if one were to die, the other spouse can draw on the dead spouse’s social security benefit. The lists can go on, like alimony, health care authorization etc.

Usually when we catch Angelina in the car, she’s the picture of composure - typically she only drops her regal, collected expression when she’s in the presence of a Banksy canvas - but I guess all the rules go out the window when she deals with her mother! We caught up with the sultry starlet on her cell phone after stopping off to visit her mother at the Ermitage Hotel acting decidedly more animated than usual - this picture isn’t the only one where she might as well be doing her best Britney Spears impression (pre-Federline, of course)!

Slain reporter’s parents backing Hollywood film of son’s life
LOS ANGELES (AFP) - The parents of murdered journalist Daniel Pearl have given their support to a Hollywood movie that will tell the story of their son’s gruesome death.
Wall Street Journal reporter Pearl, a US citizen, was beheaded by Islamic militants in the Pakistani city of Karachi in 2002.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are to star in a movie about Pearl — “A Mighty Heart” — an adaptation of the book of the same name by the journalist’s widow Mariane. Filming in India is due to begin next month.
Ruth and Judea Pearl said in an television interview to be screened later Thursday that they had initially been reluctant to see their son’s story being made into a movie.
“I didn’t want to see Danny being played by an actor, but being done the way it’s being done, it’s very comforting,” Ruth Pearl told Extra.
Ruth Pearl said she was also pleased that Jolie, an actress famous for her humanitarian causes, would play Pearl’s widow Mariane.
“I think it’s great. I think she also stands for very noble causes. She’s a great person,” she said.
