I agree with you but…you gotta know that Brad was very disappointed in her after that VF article. After all the nice things he said about her..how she didnt have a mean bone in her body..and how he defended her against what the nasty paps were saying to her and about her. I am glad that Brad now has found someone who is truly FIERCELY LOYAL to him.

I’ve always thought that what the VF interview did for Brad is drive home for him how much X was willing to sacrifice to further her career. He knew that she’d already thrown away their marriage, but I don’t think he had quite realized that she was willing to throw HIM completely away, too.

With as intense as X is at keeping up with the tabloids, there’s no way she didn’t know that Brad was seeing Angie before the Kenya photos appeared. So anything she said after they appeared had to be calculated to increase public opinion in her favor. And I don’t think Brad ever realized how much X NEEDED for the public to side with her. Brad? He couldn’t care less whether people sided with him, but I really don’t think he realized until that VF interview came out how much X needed that or how far she was willing to go to get it. I think he finally got how important success was to X when he was pulling the knife out of his back.

Oh yes he was disappointed but he’s been disappointed before (Paltrow) so he’s had experience in dealing with that. Again this is my opinion only since I obviously don’t know the man, I think he has moved way past disappointment and any hatred and has found peace in indifference and he shows that by not mentioning Chin at all, either directly or indirectly.

Maniston - I think that Brad knows his not talking about he has GOT to be killing X. He said all he intended to say in the 3 interviews he gave last year after the divorce…and that’s been it. When X heard about the Esquire interview I guess she thought he’d finally had enough of her crap. I hope she squirmed for MONTHS over it and then when the mag came out…not a word about her. She had to be both glad AND pissed. Seven years with the man and a year after your divorce all he can talk about is his new family life. I hope she read that Esquire piece and gnashed her teeth together and then got out her happy powder!

Actress Jolie links Sequoia, Cambodia park

Dignitaries from the Cambodian government will be standing under the big trees of the Giant Forest in Sequoia National Forest on Tuesday to sign a five-year agreement establishing a “sister park” relationship between Sequoia National Park and the Samlaut Multiple Use Area in Cambodia.

Actress Angelina Jolie had everything to do with it.

“Without her, it could not happen,” said Sopheaktra Nou of Fresno, executive director of the Fresno Cambodian Reconciliation Committee.

“She is a really kind lady. On behalf of the Cambodians of Fresno, I would like to thank Angelina Jolie and the staff of the Sequoia Kings National Parks.”

Neither Jolie nor Brad Pitt, father of their daughter born in May, will attend, park officials said.

Because Pitt famously spent time in Three Rivers while married to Jennifer Aniston, locals have wondered whether Pitt played a role in uniting Cambodia with Sequoia, said parks spokeswoman Alexandra Picavet.

“We’ve all talked about it,” Picavet said.

“It would be speculation on my part.”

It’s a fact that Jolie adopted a Cambodian child, now named Maddox, from Samlaut, Cambodia. Jolie established the Maddox Jolie Pitt environmental project to save the forests around Samlaut, where illegal logging and gem mining have ravaged the land.

[B]The sister-park idea emerged when Stephan Bognar, executive director of the MJP project, contacted the National Park Service in December 2005 to ask whether it would train Samlaut’s rangers.

“Stephan approached us with the idea of sister parks. We were delighted,” said Pacific West region spokeswoman Holly Bundock.

Both parks have trespassers — Sequoia with marijuana growers, and Samlaut with loggers and miners, Bundock said.

The agreement allows park rangers from Cambodia to shadow Sequoia rangers.

The Cambodian Reconciliation Committee is sending a bus of 30 local Cambodians and students from California State University, Fresno, to attend the signing ceremony at 11a.m.[/B]

About 7,000 Cambodians live around Fresno, Nou said, and most have never been to the national park.

The Cambodian Dance Troupe from Fresno will perform a ceremonial dance. Buddhist monk Saray Keo from Fresno will deliver a blessing in traditional robes.

You know, I think that herein lies the true reason for Angie’s mental anguish and alienation, cutting etc. when she was a teen:
