Angelina Visits Mommy Dearest
Angelina Jolie took the time yesterday afternoon to visit her mom, French actress Marcheline Bertrand, at L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills before leaving the country. (Marcheline is reportedly battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy sessions.) Angelina will be traveling to India within the next few weeks for a reported month-long trip to shoot the upcoming film A Mighty Heart — she plays Marianne Pearl, the wife of the slain Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl. Angelina was spotted chatting away on her cell phone in the car after visiting her mom. Brad Pitt was spotted visiting The Ermitage Hotel later on his motorcycle. Funny inset picture, no? (:

If you have the DVD listen to Doug Liman talking about how it was early on and Brad being from Mid-west was shy to dance and was acting like ” as shy high-school boy”…he says he actually had to get him drunk so he would loosen up

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong about this, but I thought they went back and re-shot portions of the Bogota dance in March 2005. That’s when those photos of B/A holding hands while watching the playback on the camera are from. There’s occasionally a Faniston who’ll post a link to those photos of prove of B/A having an affair on the set, but the photos are from the March 2005 re-shoots AFTER the divorce was filed.

1806 | Maniston - Hey Maniston… that is absolutely shocking but sexy in so many ways. Brad, the shy o’boy? Nah, I think it was the Angie factor. Angie has this amazing ability to intimate both men and women and our Braddy is no exception, he was in love at the get-go.
But dancing like a Backsreet Boy… what is that? And, does she (JA) knows anything about dancing? She doesn’t strike me as a shaker, a mover or a grinder for that matter on the dance floor.

ITA. Brad has this quality of “when I’m done, I’m DONE” that can be clearly seen in his own words, and also actions: How he left the Univestity one paper short of a degree, and drove to Los Angeles, never to look back.
It seems to me that he gives his all when he thinks it’s worth it, and in the same way, he withdraws HIS ALL when it stops being worth it.
People like that, leave no “loose ends” around them to complicate their life. When they’re done, all those who did not measure up, are sent back into the woodwork from where they came.
I’m sure that X saw the public’s reaction about her putting career above children with Brad, and thought she could do damage control with the Vanity Fair interview, by shifting the blame on Brad and playing up her own plight-how much he “hurt her”.
Well…..with that interview, she incurred a larger black spot on her than for not having his children.
By definition, anyone who knows or likes Brad, is now against her after that interview-I’m talking about movie industry movers and shakers.
That interview is going to be hurting X one hell of a lot personally, but most importantly professionally, to infinity.

The above comment is VERY intriguing but NOT very informative since you went right 2 a long explanation of why VV isn’t great. I’m wondering what happened with Brad’s arrival at TIFF that makes this so.
RE: Pune, India– Brad has caused near pandemonium WHEREVER he goes, especially when filming movies. Security is tighter now than years ago when it was a REAL problem. But I remember watching video feed of 1 of his days filming “Seven Years in Tibet”…
4 the simple action of GETTING 2 set from where he was staying took an ARMORED VEHICLE & a TEMP. CHAINLINK FENCE 2 KEEP PPL AWAY! It was madness! He was also “mobbed” in places like Italy 4 O12 [and when there with GP].
If only I could find what directors, co-stars say re: these events happening & HOW they respect Brad’s composure in dealing with it & how it’s not that way 4 them… Well, it really opened MY eyes 2 what he goes thru just trying 2 get from point A 2 point B

I’m still catching up and just read the story about Pune waiting with anticipation for the Jolie Pitts. Thanks Piyutra for the article.
Like Cliniqua mentioned, I’m a little worried by the hype around their visit. I’ve said from the start when I found out they were going to Pune that I would be worried about crowd control and I still think that this one of the major concerns as far as safety goes for Brad and Angie and the kids. Hope wherever they are, they are safe and happy.
Gotta go back and catch up with all the posts. :)

PUNE: Brangelina fever has gripped Pune as the Hollywood couple are set to arrive for a film shoot on Monday. Angelina Jolie, accompanied by Brad Pitt, will be here to shoot a film based on American journalist Daniel Pearl’s life. Pearl was abducted and killed by terrorists in Pakistan four years ago.
There has been intense speculation over the last few days about where Pitt and Jolie are planning to stay. According to sources, the duo will be putting up at builder Avinash Bhosale’s sprawling 30,000 sq ft farmhouse in Baner, in west Pune.
Bhosale is a close friend of film producer Kailash Surendranath and wife Arti, who are making all the arrangements for the shoot. The farmhouse has a helipad among other amenities, which will make them stay comfortable.
However, Bhosale denied the report. “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are coming to town but they will stay at the Le Meridian hotel,” said Bhosale.
According to an official at the Le Meridian, around five suites have been booked for later this week, but there are no confirmations about whether the couple will be staying there.
When TOI visited Bhosale’s bungalow on Sunday, no special security arrangements were on for the rumoured stay.
A road roller and other machinery was employed to fill up potholes on the internal road at the bungalow, but the guards claimed it was routine.
The security agents at the bungalow admitted that they were preparing for the arrival of some ‘guests’.
Special branch officials of city police said that no bandobast has been demanded for the two actors, while the local police station in charge did not have any information about the actors arrival in the city.
Jolie will play Daniel Pearl’s wife Mariane in the film. American actor Dan Futtermann will play Daniel Pearl. The film also features Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan as a Pakistani agent.
According to reports, Irrfan was denied a visa to enter Pakistan where the film was previously scheduled to be shot. So Jolie is flying to Pune to shoot the film in India instead.
Reports in media say that Pune scored other locations for the shoot as the city’s geography and ambience resembled Karachi and Islamabad in Pakistan.
1812 | Passing Through - That’s okay PT, I respect your point of view. I like BBT because he is a good actor and he does have a sense of humour may be it is that Arkansas’ accent. And, he appears tough, but I honestly think he is otherwise… not so tough and no so on the ball! He is not as cultured as Angie.
Also, I think you are dead right (now thinking back about it)… they (Brad and Angie) did reshoot some scenes in February/March 2005. I am sure Brad didn’t need to drink, if these were the scenes they reshot, he was already drunk with love (lol)!
1832 | guli | i remember that, i was cracking up too…. i think regardless of Angie, that movie also highlighted alot of stuff that was not working in his marriage.
Alex, he would definitely help her out and the way fate works, she will probably have to seek his help if she wants to make it big or make it at all… like GP, in a way. As they say, never bite the hands that feed you. Angie will not have a problem with that either.

Looking at it from Brad’s personality viewpoint, I agree with you.
however, any contacy bet. Brad and X, even though work associates, will translate into endless “Brad growing closer to Jen again” headlines in the tabloids, and I think that Brad will NEVER put Angie and his family in that position willingly.
So…i say, even if Brad ever had the intenttion to respond to an S.M.C (Save My Career) plea from X, he would do nothing, to spare his family and his Angie any tabloid onslaught.
