Anna’s former boyfriend, photographer Larry Birkhead, told Us Weekly that he’s the father of Anna’s baby girl, Danilynne Hope, and he’s seeking a paternity test to prove it. Anna’s longtime attorney, Howard K. Stern, told CNN’s Larry King Tuesday that he’s the father.
Anna’s son Daniel Smith died from a lethal combination of methadone and the antidepressant drugs Zoloft and Lexapro, Anna’s private pathologist, Cyril Wecht, said Wednesday. “The fact that we have these drugs and the levels of the drugs overwhelmingly and most logically point to this being a tragic, accidental, drug-related death,” Wecht told The AP from his home in the Pittsburgh area.

WEDS HOWARD K. STERN!
Anna Nicole Smith married her long-time attorney and close confidante, Howard K. Stern, this morning at 10:30 am in Nassau, Bahamas. The wedding occurred only 18 days after the death of Anna’s son Daniel, 20, from an accidental drug overdose in her Nassau hospital room on September 10.
In a world-exclusive report, an eyewitness tells Star that Anna, 38, and Howard, 37, tied the knot at 10:30 am on the morning of September 28, on a 50-foot catamaran anchored off Blackbeard’s Cay in Nassau! “There was heavy security around the yacht, plus extra speedboats to deliver more supplies as needed (including unlimited Dom Perignon champagne) from the island to the catamaran,” says the eyewitness, who adds that the wedding party celebrated the union afterwards by having a swim party around the yacht — “and Anna was wearing a pink bikini!”
Two days before, on September 26, Stern appeared live on the Larry King Show via satellite from the Bahamas, to announce that he was the father of Anna’s newborn daughter Danilynne Hope, that he and Anna “love each other” — and that the duo would get married “at some point.”
Apparently, that point arrived much sooner than later. A source adds: “Stern was making all the arrangements in the days before the wedding.”
This is apparently Stern’s first marriage, but the third for Smith. She was a teen bride with Billy Wayne Smith (Daniel’s father) in Texas in 1985; they divorced two years later. Smith then married 89-year-old oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall in June 1994. He died in 1990, and Anna — who recently became a legal resident of the Bahamas — is still battling in court for her share of his estate.

Most likely this is due to the situation with her new baby’s dad or the guy who claims is the dad, legalities. I’m sure she is not celebrating anything, she’s grieving, she’s human, regardless of the drama in her past, this was her only son and she loved him to death, I assure you she is not celebrating anything. Why would anyone believe a story that came from Star Magazine. Have they are been right about anything. I find it hard to believe that a couple of weeks after her son died she would have a wedding on a boat with unlimited champagne.
Anna is human so leave her alone, you have to deal with grief in your own way and if getting married will make it easier on her to deal with this tragedy then let her be happy for God’s sake!

i dont know how she is swimming just after a c section i dont care who you are but your stomach sure is not flat after having a baby. Howard has loved her for a long time it was just a matter of time before he broke her down. he doesnt want the money if he was a gold digger he would have been gone ALONG time ago before she pulled her self out the the ditch.

i know Howard admits he is the baby girls father but i think the other guy is the real of the baby i saw the pic of the baby girl n she looks like the other guy n she’s a cutie pie like me hehehe
If she married the lawyer, I don’t think it has anything to do with love. I think she is trying to elbow that other dude out of the baby’s life and that is just not right. I have no idea of her relationship with Daniel’s father, but that shouldn’t have superceded the relationship between he and Daniel, unless he posed a danger to him. Then again, Anna Nicole isn’t the most stable gun in Dodge.
It’s sad that her son died, but she doesn’t have the right to muscle the bio father out of the pic, no matter how ‘grief stricken’ she is. If she wants Howard, she should be with Howard, but that child deserves to know the truth about her paternity. And I personally am sick of Anna Nicole’s needs and instability superceding the needs of her children.
I don’t know who the father of the new baby girl is but there is no doubt in my mind that Howard has been a father figure to Daniel for years and must be in a tremendous amount of pain himself - he has also been there for Anna through thick and thin - watching as she dated and messed around with guys and girls - the pain in his face was obvious - he really loves her and has for a long time - if he didn’t he would have been long gone. She also has feelings for him or she never would have kept him around for years - now that Daniel has gone - her number 2 male ( which I believe is Howard) as stepped up to help fill the void (no one will ever take Daniel’s place) - who else can she really trust but Howard. I think he just wants to love her and take care of her and if the money evaporates I believe he will do everything in his power to support her and the child. I hope the baby is his. By the way she is so drugged up right now because of the unbearable pain she is feeling there is no way she is truly celebrating a wedding - if she did get married it must have been something that had been planned for quite some time and she is just going through the motions - she may look like she is having a good time but that is the medicine talking. Anna is one sad, abused insecure woman - Howard adores her - I hope they survive this tragedy and as I said earlier I really hope the new baby is Howard’s - if not he will still love it like his own. If this marriage is not real I truly hope they do get married in the future.
