Didn’t realize until I read it today that Plan B Entertainment is coproducing “Atlas Shrugged”. So Angie will act in and Brad will produce two of Angie’s three confirmed upcoming movies(A Mighty Heart, Atlas Shrugged, and Kung Fu Panda). Wow, Brad and Angie have certainly integrated their lives, both privately and publicly. This situation is very similar to how Nick Cassevetes/Gina Rowland worked. This enables Angie to be able to plan time to work on her humanitarian interests, have plenty of family time, and still act. Anyone who thinks that this couple and their family is not for real is totally living in an alternative nonreality based world.

No, Plan B Entertainment is not involved with Kung Fu Panda as far as I know, but Plan B is listed as a producer or co-producer on A Mighty Heart and Atlas Shrugged. One source for Atlas Shrugged info is imdb and this was also in several articles months ago when stories began appearing as to Angie and her interest in Atlas Shrugged. IMDB has now removed Brad from the possible cast of Atlas Shrugged. Brad has a number of movie roles and production projects he is confirmed for so maybe he could not fit Atlas Shrugged in, plus now he is also producing a tv series. He is like a man on fire professionally, it takes money to raise 7 (Brad’s wish expressed in an interview) or 8 (Angie’s wish expressed in an interview) kids, plus fund humanitarian interests. LOL. It seems that I remember when Brad used to make one or two films a year, and filmed none for a couple of years. What a difference Angie and daddyhood have made in Brad Pitt! Some blogs have George Clooney dating a 24 year old model with a small part in O13 (also on Deal or no Deal). Well, GC is still GC. He has yet to meet the love of his life. I imagine GC misses his buddies (BP and MD) who used to hang with him when they made O11 and O12.

PUNE: Brangelina fever has gripped Pune as the Hollywood couple are set to arrive for a film shoot on Monday. Angelina Jolie, accompanied by Brad Pitt, will be here to shoot a film based on American journalist Daniel Pearl’s life. Pearl was abducted and killed by terrorists in Pakistan four years ago.

There has been intense speculation over the last few days about where Pitt and Jolie are planning to stay. According to sources, the duo will be putting up at builder Avinash Bhosale’s sprawling 30,000 sq ft farmhouse in Baner, in west Pune.

Bhosale is a close friend of film producer Kailash Surendranath and wife Arti, who are making all the arrangements for the shoot. The farmhouse has a helipad among other amenities, which will make them stay comfortable.
However, Bhosale denied the report. “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are coming to town but they will stay at the Le Meridian hotel,” said Bhosale.

According to an official at the Le Meridian, around five suites have been booked for later this week, but there are no confirmations about whether the couple will be staying there.

When TOI visited Bhosale’s bungalow on Sunday, no special security arrangements were on for the rumoured stay. A road roller and other machinery was employed to fill up potholes on the internal road at the bungalow, but the guards claimed it was routine.

The security agents at the bungalow admitted that they were preparing for the arrival of some ‘guests’. Special branch officials of city police said that no bandobast has been demanded for the two actors, while the local police station in charge did not have any information about the actors arrival in the city.

Jolie will play Daniel Pearl’s wife Mariane in the film. American actor Dan Futtermann will play Daniel Pearl. The film also features Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan as a Pakistani agent.

According to reports, Irrfan was denied a visa to enter Pakistan where the film was previously scheduled to be shot. So Jolie is flying to Pune to shoot the film in India instead.

Reports in media say that Pune scored other locations for the shoot as the city’s geography and ambience resembled Karachi and Islamabad in Pakistan.

My opinion, for what little it is worth, is that Angie is more in love with Brad than she ever was with BBT, or anybody else in her life. She has stayed with him no matter how many “stones” have been thrown at her by all kinds of idiots. She has totally merged her life with his, and yes, he has also merged his life with hers. I marvel at how integrated their lives are. She has only made the most positive supportive comments when speaking about him. She has willingly risked damage to her good humanitarian reputation in the world earned through her efforts made over a number of years to be with Brad. She has trusted Brad with her children, this after she let all know that she was OK with being Mad’s single mother. She adopted Zahara with Brad as we now know (her in ACooper interview, and Brad in Esquire”when we picked up Zahara”. And then there is Shiloh, proof that whatever qualities that Brad possesses have proved to be the key to her heart. Both Angie and Brad always, always use the term “we” when speaking of each other. They appear devoted to one another. I can see a future in which if they ever decide to go in opposite romantic directions, that they could all live together in a commune. After all, Brad did say in Esquire that “he could not live without Mad or Z (when speaking about adopted children), no difference from natural born(Shiloh), that they were his blood, and that he was their blood”. That is a really profound statement which did not get much attention b/c all the focus was on his statement regarding marriage, and even that statement began with the words “Angie and I will consider”, not just ” I will consider” as all reported (see “we” again). They have arranged their lives so that they can be together, now in India, and later in New Orleans. When did Angie or Brad arrange their work in any previous relationships with anyone else so that they were not separated for more than a few days at a time and do this now for over a year and a half. Yes, Angelina is a strong independent woman, but her actions suggest that Brad Pitt is the love of her life.

MY TAKE… I remember an interview for Eva Longoria when she attended the Toronto International Film Festival last year. The interviewer asked here about her intention to step into making movies & she said somthing like SHE DOES NOT WANT TO BE TYPECASTED LIKE RACHEL GREEN FOREVER. SHE WANTS TO PROVE SHE CAN BE OF DIFFERENT CHARACTER.

If Sam Relph from the Barcroft Media — a news agency in London — arrived in the city as early as Sunday, another photographer from Fame, a news agency in Los Angeles, is on his way. Yes, it looks like Shi will have those beautiful hooded eyes, that go down at the corners like Brad’s….and her Moms lips and chin. By the way, I don’t think Brad is playing a 50 year old man…I think he and Cate are playing what they are– which is early to mid 40’s (him) and late thirties to 40 (her). They have relatively young kids in the film — 6years old and 8 it appears, so IMO, Brad is definitely not out of his forties in the film. The pics appear that way because they are on a long tiring trip through dusty, hot as hell Morocco, and things are not going well - add to the fact that Brad is made up to look older and less like the Adonis that he is, and that’s what you get. I saw the film, I thought he was still hot as hell in it — but I also saw him at the premiere, and categorically, he looks 10 years younger than he is, IMO.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Snubbed at the Oscars when “The Aviator” lost to Clint Eastwood’s “Million Dollar Baby,” Martin Scorsese has assembled a dream cast for his new movie “The Departed,” setting the stage for a rematch with Eastwood.

Jack Nicholson plays a mob boss in Boston in the film about two informers, one a mobster planted in the police department, played by Matt Damon, and one a police officer who goes undercover in Nicholson’s mob, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Famed for his tales of Italian American mobsters, Scorsese turns his lens on contemporary Irish American crime in “The Departed,” whose story is based on the 2002 Hong Kong thriller “Infernal Affairs.” The movie opens on October 6.

“To have Jack Nicholson join up with Martin Scorsese and play a gangster is something that I think a lot of movie fans have been waiting for,” DiCaprio told reporters at a press day in New York.

Scorsese’s last film “The Aviator” lost out in the Oscar race to Eastwood’s “Million Dollar Baby,” and “The Departed” pits the two head to head again, with Eastwood’s World War II drama “Flags of our Fathers” also out in October.

When the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences passed over “The Aviator” in 2005 Scorsese lost his seventh Oscar bid, despite making such celebrated films as “Raging Bull” and “Taxi Driver.”

The word “Oscar” was not mentioned at the New York press event for the film, but “The Departed” has an unusually strong cast of male actors. The three big stars are backed up by strong performances from Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen and Alec Baldwin as police officers.

NICHOLSON “MADE IT MORE OBSCENE”

Damon said Nicholson was largely responsible for what became a major theme in the movie — the link between sexual prowess and power, with the mob boss’s sexual excesses contrasted with the impotence of his protege.

“Jack brought this incredible new element, this new layer to that character — he made it more obscene,” Damon said. “That felt authentic because these guys will sublimate sex into violence and violence into sex.”

The result is explicit sexual scenes, coarse language and unrelenting violence that may be too much for some viewers.

Damon said Scorsese called him the night before he filmed his first scene, in which his character meets the mob boss in a porn theater to discuss a police investigation of him.

“(Scorsese) said, ‘A funny thing has happened, Jack Nicholson had some ideas for the scene …. OK, I’ll just get to it, Jack’s going to wear a dildo,”‘ Damon said.

Asked about tabloid reports of a very explicit sex scene involving Nicholson and two women that did not make it into the final cut, Scorsese said: “Ultimately I decided what’s implicit is better than explicit in that bedroom scene.”

DiCaprio, who plays the undercover cop constantly in fear for his life, said Nicholson kept him on his toes, particularly in a scene where the mob boss interrogates him over whether he is the rat giving secrets to the police.

“I remember coming in to do the scene one morning and the prop guy told me ‘Be careful, he’s got a fire extinguisher and a gun and some matches and a bottle of whiskey,”‘ he said.

Damon said the gritty atmosphere in the film came from extensive research by all those involved — in his case that meant accompanying police on a raid of a crack-den in a scene recreated in the film.

“I was at the back of the line in my bullet proof vest,” he said. “The guys who are in the shot with me are the guys who were with me that night.”

“There’s an authenticity that you can’t fake and it’s because he uses real people,” Damon said. “Ultimately it’s a magic trick, we’re just trying to be believable.”

Despite his stature in the business, Scorsese said it was not easy to keep making films that interest him.

“What I mean by that is to keep the energy going, to keep the interest going, the curiosity going, to continue to make films … they have to mean something to me. And that’s always been a struggle because of the nature of the way the system is now in Hollywood … I’m still trying to find my way.

I love it, BP’s stamp is all over the Oscars this year…from docs (Could the doc on the Sudan get nominated too?), to films to his own performances - geez, he’s on FIRE!! ..and hsi stamp is all over Angie too…muahaha…sorry, couldn’t resist. I think that was a direct jab at Chin, who had maligned him, and questioned his character and integrity and his sensitivity. With that one sentence, Angie was able to convey this very important point - despite Chin Maniston’s years with Brad, she NEVER knew him. It was AJ smacking that beech in the face hard, as if to say, it was like you and he never existed, if you can think that about him, and foster others thinking ill of him as well.

I agree with you 100% - Cate is the best actress today. I have never seen her in a bad role, or in a bad movie. She always blows me away. If it is true, the King of Cambodia will treat them to a royal reception. He did a special proclamation granting A. Jolie Cambodian
Citizenship. True she maintains a house there because in her RD interview she talked about her neighbors in Cambodia.
I am so sure they are so loved in Cambodia.

You know, I sometimes wonder why I keep coming back here. Primarily, it’s for the latest news and pictures. Well, that’s the ONLY reason. But when I know that there is no new news, I briefly skim what was posted since my last check-in. And everyday (including today) I am utterly amazed at how many times I see my name in other people’s posts.

Every time someone is labeled a hater, they are ultimately labeled ritzygal too. Well, let me clear some of this up for you. The following have been the names I’ve posted under:

-Yahoo (I did crib that form the “original” Yahoo on this site.)
-lisa ( I was one of many on this site that posted as lisa.)

There might be one or two more but I can’t remember.

Point is, I don’t know about you people, but I have a job. I think it’s hysterical that at any time of day, somebody (who’s not me), get’s called out as ritzygal. It’s like you people are obsessed with me. I seem to have penetrated your psyche and I find that utterly fascinating.

I have been in a meeting all day so those that were thought to be ritzygal, are not. Sorry, but true.

It’s fitting that I should have this power of you in JJ/BAMZSH fantasyland because in real life, and for those who are American citizens, the real power I have over you is felt by you every single day. And it has just been made even more so in this meeting I just came out of.

Anyway, please continue to outdo and one-up each other in the race to get the latest bit of info and the first picture of BAMZSH in India. You make it all so easy for me and the other lazy ones on this board.

I think they’ve heard from someone that perhaps it’s this story that pisses Brad off most of all, because they’re dragging his family into it and making them feel all kinds of embarrassment. Jane Pitt probably feels guilty enough already for having been duped into ‘lunch’ with Maniston after the split and when Brad was just getting w/ Ange - lord knows, the rags have lived on that for the past two years.

I mean, can you imagine, being Jane, trying to get to know the love of your son’s life, the mother of his children — respecting her as a woman and good parent and as the woman whose made your son as happy as he’s ever been in life, then having to deal with stories that say you don’t like her, and want him back with Dustchin Hoffmaniston…I’m sure she was mortified, which is why Doug spoke out a time or two.
