So I broke down and bought a copy of US weekly for the first time ever. Al I can say is the knives are out for Jennifer Anniston at US magazine.
Some excerpts:

It was a well used tactics that for Aniston who in March 1999 was accused of attracting publicity by spending nine months denying she was even dating Brad Pitt, just six months later she upped the ante by flashing a ring when the couple joined Sting on stage in New York City, then insisted it was just a joke.
This vicious cycle of media courting and thwarting which a friend of Vaughn’s called “Jen’s world” was a major turnoff for Vince.

Reading this article actually pissed me off somewhat. It means that the media have known all these years what a manipulative mean ***** Jennifer is, and they have spent almost two years protecting poor Jen and slamming and slandering Brad and Angie.

Well all those Fannistons that have been screaming Karma, how about this for Karma, that the fraud is slowing being unmasked and shown for the meanspirited, shallow, fame hungry woman that she is. All that sweet Jen, or the girl next door Jen was just a sham. What a difference 2 years makes. Brad and Angie were the ones the couple gave six months for their relationship to bite the dust, and here they are almost 2 years later going stronger like energizer bunnies.

ITA. That what makes it a bit hard to swollow. They were not given this stuff last week. They have played along with this woman for a long time. And NOW they suddenly want to expose her. I will buy it. Its a prize for us fans that had to read the weepy bs and the nasty comments on Brad and Angie and their kids.

I agree. And I will buy it too. It probably won’t be the all time best selling mag just because I doubt Fanistons will buy it.. and they are US Weekly’s main readers. But this one? I’m going to save and savor.

I am so glad that US mag agreed on the “all out attack ” by Jen on VF mag.

Mayor Guli - here’s my position on gay marriage: Everyone should legally have the right to be in a miserable marriage. Hey…why should heterosexual people be the only people who have to pay a lawyer to undo their mistakes? You would think that the Divorce Attorneys Division of the Bar Association would be out en masse lobbying for gay marriage.

I’m telling you…it’s an untapped gold mine for divorce lawyers. Just think about this for a second - across the board, regardless of occupation or location, men earn more money than women. Two men with decent salaries get married and it doesn’t work out. The spouse making the lesser salary is probably still making a considerable amount more than a female spouse would be. Ergo…the divorce lawyer can charge them a higher fee to handle their case.

I wonder if the Bar Association trolls the blogs looking to steal people’s ideas like the tabs do? If this idea turns up in a pro-gay marriage ad - you guys remember that I said it first!

Sometime ago, around the time before the Toronto Fest, there were some postings. The person was writing something like 1) making fun of our english 2) counting the number of foreigners in this thread. 3) that he got to go to Toronto for the festival but none of us could..
A little later, you said someone borrowed your computer and did the postings.

Fast forward, recently, you were saying, “…you made my job easier…”. You commented that we are trying to ” up one another” in posting the most recent news.
