OlderBrad & Angelina Arrive in Pune
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to have arrived in Pune, India for the shooting of The Might Heart, a film about American journalist Daniel Pearl who was slain by Muslim extremists in Pakistan. The Might Heart will be co-produced by Pitt’s production company and Angelina will star as Pearl’s wife, Mariane.
Airport sources claim that the Jolie-Pitt family arrived today at Pune International Airport at about 3pm by chartered plane and then drove in two cars to Le Meridien Hotel. Says one source: “First they went to Mumbai and from there they took a flight to Pune. They have just reached the Pune airport and arrangements are being made to take them to their destination.” Can’t wait for the pictures!
UPDATE :: Brad wants more kids with Angelina according to this exclusive interview:
“I’m not joking around. I have three kids now and next year I’ll have six. Nine. We’re looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup… The change has been immense. I’ve become a father, turned 40, and I’ve become more clear on the direction that I’d like to take and the things that speak to me. In my younger days I was more of a drifter. I’d try many things - I’d try anything. But now there’s a real pride in understanding myself and what’s important to me and my own values… It makes you more efficient because you do everything faster. There’s no time for messing around. I still value the work I do, but at the same time I value more getting home to the kids. It somehow makes my work mean more because I know somewhere down the road that my kids will see it. That is the way I approach everything now. Maybe it was turning 40 as well. There were certain things I wanted to attack and it seems to work. I go back to the kids and it just makes me more efficient and I get the things done that I like to get done, whereas before I probably meandered and drifted more.”

Halle Berry has signed on to star in Class Act for DreamWorks Pictures, and Doug Atchison has come on board to write and direct the true life tale, reports Variety.
Berry will play Tierney Cahill, a teacher from Reno, Nev., who took a challenge from her sixth-grade students to run for Congress in the 2000 elections on the condition that they would help run her campaign. The single mother ultimately lost her bid to an incumbent, but she ended up winning 35% of the popular vote.
The casting is a unique move for Hollywood, in that Cahill is a white woman. The production felt it was more important to find the right actress to play the role rather than the right white actress.
Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas is producing for the studio with Underground Films. The goal is to start the film in May or June.

I think ‘Good Riddance,’ is that same amateur freelance idiot writer that tried to start this silly sh*t before on some website.
Look, go take your one drop rule and shove it - Marianne, is Cuban, Jewish and dutch and raised in France - yes - her African lineage is obvious, but if SHE doesn’t call herself a ‘black’ woman or even more to the POINT, doesn’t feel that someone who shares that commonality with her HAS to play her in the film, then why are you chasing after her trying to induct her in the black woman’s club?? Should Cuban people be upset? How about Jewish people? Should the dutch have something to say?? The woman wanted Angie Jolie, period. It’s not that she didn’t want Halle Berry, hell - maybe Halle would have been her second choice, maybe Natalie Portman her third, and J.Lopez her fourth. Maybe she considers herself a citizen of the world, and a United Nations, so why do you need to pigeon hole people who obviously see themselves as multiracial.
Don’t look now, but your own low self-esteem is showing. Why are you worrying about who doesn’t feel they have to be called ‘black’ or played black.
Worry about real stuff, not stuff that is irrational and doesn’t make sense.
Perhaps if Marianne had been born here in the U.S. and was confronted by one-drop slavery people like you from jump street, she’d have a different viewpoint of who she is….

It may be a few yrs. now since the death of D. Pearl, the cause /manner of death is as evidently
truthful and painful as it is today.
This is the story of M. Pearl. I hope no woman would have to go thru the pain M. Pearl went through searching for her husband.
THe choice of AJ should not deter you from seeing this movie.
