OlderBrad & Angelina Arrive in Pune
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to have arrived in Pune, India for the shooting of The Might Heart, a film about American journalist Daniel Pearl who was slain by Muslim extremists in Pakistan. The Might Heart will be co-produced by Pitt’s production company and Angelina will star as Pearl’s wife, Mariane.
Airport sources claim that the Jolie-Pitt family arrived today at Pune International Airport at about 3pm by chartered plane and then drove in two cars to Le Meridien Hotel. Says one source: “First they went to Mumbai and from there they took a flight to Pune. They have just reached the Pune airport and arrangements are being made to take them to their destination.” Can’t wait for the pictures!
UPDATE :: Brad wants more kids with Angelina according to this exclusive interview:
“I’m not joking around. I have three kids now and next year I’ll have six. Nine. We’re looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup… The change has been immense. I’ve become a father, turned 40, and I’ve become more clear on the direction that I’d like to take and the things that speak to me. In my younger days I was more of a drifter. I’d try many things - I’d try anything. But now there’s a real pride in understanding myself and what’s important to me and my own values… It makes you more efficient because you do everything faster. There’s no time for messing around. I still value the work I do, but at the same time I value more getting home to the kids. It somehow makes my work mean more because I know somewhere down the road that my kids will see it. That is the way I approach everything now. Maybe it was turning 40 as well. There were certain things I wanted to attack and it seems to work. I go back to the kids and it just makes me more efficient and I get the things done that I like to get done, whereas before I probably meandered and drifted more.”

Another great new thread, thanks Jared. It’s wonderful how happy Brad comes across in this interview, you can almost picture him smiling and laughing. He sounds almost giddy. I’ve been a fan of his for a long time and I’ve never seen or heard him sound like this, it’s as if everything he’s ever dreamed of happened to him all at once. Hope they have a wonderful stay in India and continued happiness there.

Oh heavens are we still on this miscast for the MP role? Seriously, this is just tedious. Anyone who has a problem with it….well too bad, you’re just gonna have to deal with it or start your own production company and cast Halle Berry in it.

It’s nice that Halle got that flick, but Variety ought to cut her some slack. She signed up for those movies BEFORE she won the Oscar. She may have had all those movies in the work for years and had committed to them. As we know from when Brad dropped out of “The Fountainhead” a few weeks before it was scheduled to shoot…movie studios are not amused by that. Luckily for Brad his quid pro quo was to do M&MS instead. Male actors also have a much larger selection of movie roles to choose from, but actresses, particularly ethnic actors are only offered a limited number of movies. It’s not like Halle had any cache before she won the Oscar that she could be more demanding about getting better movie roles. Then again, she’s got the same option that everyone else has - start a production company and create your own projects. Brad did it for X and X is much worse actress than Halle at her Catwoman worst.
Oops, I guess I spoke too soon. Seems Halle Berry won’t be available afterall….yeah, she’ll be too busy play a white woman. Lmoa…..I’m sorry but that is really funny to me….not Halle Berry play a white woman but that the very Actress Ms. Riddiance mentioned it turns out will be playing a white woman. Goodness, how’s that for Irony? The gods have a sense of humor.
I like what the producers said, it is better to getan actress who can play the role instead of someone who looks like the real-life character.

My mother is Christian and my Dad is Muslim, they brought us up to understand and find the commonalities of both religions. But to this day, I still get the question, well which one are you, my answer is both. Yeah, she’s gonna need it Estelle. Marianne Pearl was 5 months preggers. Even if she’s pregnant…Angie CAN’T be that far along cuz Shiloh is only 4 months old!
Can I just say, I love that Brad & Angie won that poll.
Honestly, I wasn’t really into it…because I figured if Bono won, it wasn’t going to be an injustice or anything lolol….but now that I think about it.
Brad & Angelina, are perfectly justified at the number one spot - they are adopting children for the poorest, countries on the planet and giving them new lives…they are giving of their own money, time and love…not to many others are doing that on the level worldwide that they are.
