OlderBrad & Angelina Arrive in Pune
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to have arrived in Pune, India for the shooting of The Might Heart, a film about American journalist Daniel Pearl who was slain by Muslim extremists in Pakistan. The Might Heart will be co-produced by Pitt’s production company and Angelina will star as Pearl’s wife, Mariane.
Airport sources claim that the Jolie-Pitt family arrived today at Pune International Airport at about 3pm by chartered plane and then drove in two cars to Le Meridien Hotel. Says one source: “First they went to Mumbai and from there they took a flight to Pune. They have just reached the Pune airport and arrangements are being made to take them to their destination.” Can’t wait for the pictures!
UPDATE :: Brad wants more kids with Angelina according to this exclusive interview:
“I’m not joking around. I have three kids now and next year I’ll have six. Nine. We’re looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup… The change has been immense. I’ve become a father, turned 40, and I’ve become more clear on the direction that I’d like to take and the things that speak to me. In my younger days I was more of a drifter. I’d try many things - I’d try anything. But now there’s a real pride in understanding myself and what’s important to me and my own values… It makes you more efficient because you do everything faster. There’s no time for messing around. I still value the work I do, but at the same time I value more getting home to the kids. It somehow makes my work mean more because I know somewhere down the road that my kids will see it. That is the way I approach everything now. Maybe it was turning 40 as well. There were certain things I wanted to attack and it seems to work. I go back to the kids and it just makes me more efficient and I get the things done that I like to get done, whereas before I probably meandered and drifted more.”

Yeah, she’s gonna need it Estelle. Marianne Pearl was 5 months preggers. Even if she’s pregnant…Angie CAN’T be that far along cuz Shiloh is only 4 months old!
Can I just say, I love that Brad & Angie won that poll.
Honestly, I wasn’t really into it…because I figured if Bono won, it wasn’t going to be an injustice or anything lolol….but now that I think about it.
Brad & Angelina, are perfectly justified at the number one spot - they are adopting children for the poorest, countries on the planet and giving them new lives…they are giving of their own money, time and love…not to many others are doing that on the level worldwide that they are.
it just occurred to me that angie’s gonna have to put on the pregnancy pad for this role. here comes the swirling tornado of rumors round 12!

PUNE: Hollywood’s hottest couple — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — finally flew into Pune in a private aircraft from Mumbai on Thursday afternoon.
Airport officials confirmed to TOI that both Pitt, Jolie, their two children, besides two other persons, including a woman, landed here on a Bombardier aircraft — belonging to the Raymonds group — at 2.40 pm.
Both Jolie and Pitt were wearing white-coloured full sleeve T-shirts and trousers and exchanged greetings with the airport staff, before boarding a white Mercedes van. Private security personnel from abroad who were already camping in the city, escorted them in the vehicle.
“Brad was holding Shiloh-Nouvel (the youngest of their three children) while Maddox, who was fast asleep, was carried to the car by one of the attendants,” said a Pune airport official who was among the few to get a close look at the star couple.
“It was raining heavily when they arrived here at Lohegaon.”
Pune airport director Deepak Shastri, J P Matur, in charge of the civil airport’s air traffic security, Dhiru Vandekar, manager of Indian Airlines and in charge of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) received the star couple after they landed.
A Mercedes and another vehicle went right up to the tarmac to receive the VIPs and then drove the star guests to an undisclosed location.
Pitt and Jolie are in the city for the shooting of the film A Mighty Heart, based on the life of assassinated American journalist Daniel Pearl.
Jolie plays the role of Mariane, his widow. American actor Dan Futtermann will be playing Daniel Pearl.
The film also features actor Irrfan Khan of Maqbool fame who plays Pakistani agent named Captain who helps Marianne trying to secure the release of her abducted husband from the terrorists.
Part of the film’s shooting will be done in Pune after Pakistani authorities denied a visa to Irrfan, where the film was previously scheduled to be shot.
Originally tipped to be reaching Pune on Sunday, there was intense speculation whether the couple will make it in Pune.
The star couple, however, managed to fox the media waiting anxiously at the airport since early Thursday morning.

English sports ace DAVID BECKHAM has reportedly been signed up by BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE to teach their son MADDOX soccer. The Cambodian five-year-old is already a student at the David Beckham Soccer Academy in Los Angeles, but his famous parents have arranged private one-to-one tuition with Beckham, who was dropped from the England soccer team earlier this year (06). A source tells British newspaper The Sun, “Brad has asked if there is any chance of David giving a one-on-one tutorial.”
