Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent yesterday afternoon riding around Pune in an autorickshaw. Brad and Angelina got into one auto, their security into the other and their white Mercedes followed.
The kids weren’t with them, a source told MiD DAY, adding that theyā re using the basement parking to get in and out of the hotel. They got back around 4.30 pm and Angelina got out of the auto sipping coconut water. She said “I love this. We had a good time”, said the source.
Six suites
The couple and their three children, Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh Nouvel, checked into the Le Meridien hotel at 3 pm on Thursday. The shooting for Jolieā s film, A Mighty Heart, begins on Monday. The family has booked six suites and two rooms at the hotel for five weeks.
Brad and Angelina spent the whole of Thursday in the hotel. They’re just chilling over the weekend, and may send the kids to Katraj Snake Park today, if their security approves of it. The nannies might take the kids. “It isn’t certain if Brad and Angelina will go,” said the source.
Two nannies have accompanied the actors and one nanny has been flown in from Bangalore. Sources say their security personnel are British.
Indian food
The source said, “After checking in at 3 pm on Thursday, they ordered a tenderloin hamburger, pizza and chicken sandwiches. For dinner, they had Indian food “tandoori chicken, dal tadka, mutton rogan josh, chicken biryani and steamed rice.” The hotel’s staff say the couple is unassuming and amiable. “And they really enjoyed the food,” said one proud employee.
Snake park visit
Rumours about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children — Zahara and Maddox — scheduled visit to Katraj Snake Park have been doing the rounds.
However, Neelam Kumar Khaire, director of the snake park, said he has no knowledge of their visit.
Situated about 8 km from Pune station, the Katraj Snake Park was set up in 1986 by Khaire.
There are more than 160 species of snakes in the park.

Hubby enjoyed it esp. his Fav. Jack. Said he might see it one more time.Once is enough for me.I’ll find another movie with same time, just different screening rooms. I have seen couples

Angelina’s security officer ‘manhandles’ foreign photographer
Pune, Oct. 7 (PTI): The personal security officer of the Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt today allegedly manhandled a foreign photographer outside the five star hotel here where the celebrated actors are staying.
Sam Pelf, a photographer from the United Kingdom, was allegedly caught by the neck by one of the two personal security officers of the star couple when he tried to take the security officers’ pictures.
Angelina, Brad and their three children are here for the month-long shoot for the film `A Mighty Heart’, based on the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
The security officer who was very abusive said that he will thrash the foreign photographer if he did not stop taking pictures and tailing the celebrated Hollywood couple.
The other security officer was equally abusive toward the journalists, including those from the Indian media. He asked the photojournalists and cameramen from the print and television channels to switch off their cameras.
Pelf later said he was considering registration of a police case against the security officer.
“I have not yet filed any case. But I am considering,” Pel told PTI when asked about the incident without revealing to which organisation he was representing.
“It is enough to know that I am from a London press. I am tired of narrating the incident to each and everyone. I am totally shaken by the treatment I got from the private security official,” he said while biting a hamburger at the five star hotel lobby.

I’m a bit perplexed as to why they allow him to strong-arm these photographers when they don’t have that attitude at home. They are so easygoing with the photographers here. If they don’t want to be photographed, we don’t see them. If they are photographed, it’s usually some begnign photo.
Not only are they travelling with a large and capable personal security force, but they have umbrella security coverage provided by the US government.

I think its just right that they should be tough on these photogs/paps. The reason why they want to take Bamzs photos is to make money for them, its greed for money. I know its their job, but the way they chase and hunt B&A have been really too much and they just dont give them space anymore. They are there relaxing before Angelina start shooting, they should be allowed to relax and enjoy their weekeend and not get harrassed by these photogs/paps. I dont think they are entitled nor the fans to have photos of them all the time. If B&A do not want their pics taken, its their rights, they are having a private time now. And honestly, the more they give in to these photogs/paps the more they become greedy and the more they will pursue them. The best startegy is to give them a hard time, then maybe some of them will surrender and leave. Also if they make money now, the longer they will stay coz they will addl funds to spare to linger and stalk them.

Just to let you guys know that when I turned on the TV this morning Angelina was on! LIFE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT is on FX right now. this movie is the one where she plays a blonde bobshell tv reporter who is told by a homeless man (played by Tony Shaloub) that she’s gonna die soon. This movie is interesting in that it shows Angelina in a completely different type of charachter & look. she’s funny in it also.
