Brad & Angelina Pictures in Pune!!
The paparazzi in Pune are going wild! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (both pictured above if you look closely) are indeed shacked up at Le Meridien hotel in Pune, India!!!!!!! (Notice the Le Meriden umbrella held up by hotel staff.) I’m sure Brad & Angie’s three children — Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh — were not far behind. Check out the pictures in the gallery…

176 | Alexanderina | Hi ya Alex I am fine ,I got a great suprise, big K came over an hour ago I guess bunch of girls were coming back to Columbus so he took a ride with them and shocked me, but it was more like hi and bye and he took off with his friends  Heck I don’t blame him he is 19…..
Break time.
177 | guli |- Deal! you can count me in. But I think may be Brad will do an interview with her, if she willing to donate some money to the JP’s foundation. what a few millions between friends?… :)
I believe despite the tension, if it’s for a good cause, Brad will go for it and of course with a condition of no questions about his personal life only about the charity.
185 | guli -well, so happy that Korey is back to his oldself. ;)
185 | guli - Hi Guli, glad to see Korey is back into the swing of things and hasn’t lost a step (lol)!
Hi Guli!
Nasilsin? I’m so glad it’s friday.
I have to take Aron shopping tonight. He needs a new shirt for tomorrow night’s homecoming. Last minute he decides to go. It will be his fist time.
It doesnt matter whether they cheated or not (in regards to that “stab at Jen’s heart” article). Heck, that sort of thing happens ALL THE TIME in Hollywood! It’s not a GOOD thing, per say. But actors act on their feelings and their feelings become very strong at times. When you become physically close to someone, as you have to be in a film, it is very hard to let go. Sometimes, it’s not even about the physical part. When two people get to know each other and share something, you come to a conclusion. I have no qualms against Jen, but i can kind of understand why people hate Jen. But I won’t go there. And I can understand why BAMZS went to Namibia for some peace.
Yeah India, let me say thanks also - am loving your excitement and posts about India - we hope to learn more from you in the coming days! :-)
Also, guys…I gotta tell you I went out and bought US, and a few other rags - if there are some cool pics and articles I will scan tonight - so stay tuned.
I also haven’t forgotten about the fanfic, and the scan of the ‘I can’t Live Without You’ Issue. All to come later….
i had to look up Pune in the atlas too! There’s SO many cities & places in India. I don’t think I had heard of Pune until Brangelina.

Oprah will be talking with Dr.Oz about “Answering peoples’ most embarrassing questions” on Monday’s show. That’s what the promo is about.

Maybe someone will ask Oprah to answer an embarrassing question. such as… Why did you side with that ninny Jen Aniston over that divine Brad Pitt?
I read the US magazine article while at the grocery store this afternoon but did not buy it. Well, saying that they are mad at Aniston would be an understatement.
184 | African Girl |Hey AG missed you lady TGIF ehh!!! Any plans for this weekend? Awwww..they rode an autorickshaw..let me tell you those things are small so you have to kind of huddle together. So cute. Brad and Angelina probably had to sit very close together to prevent getting splashed by the rain. It’s really romanitc to ride one in the rain…of course the the streets are very loud because people are not afraid to honk their horns…
Here’s a pic of an autorickshaw

The sides are open so you have to careful that the rain water doesn’t splash. It’s also usually called a three - wheeler.
Pitt-Jolie security: no-fuss and very effective

[ 7 Oct, 2006 0125hrs ISTTIMES NEWS NETWORK
PUNE: High-profile VVIP security is all about brains, not brawn. It’s about silence and swiftness; not about noise and public nuisance.
That’s the message which came in with a bang within 24 hours of the arrival of Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s in Pune.
While Indians are used to suffering messed-up schedules due to indefinite traffic halts, diversions and traffic jams caused by VVIP movement, what stood in stark contrast was the manner in which Pitt and Jolie arrived and settled in a city hotel on Thursday.
Absent were the fingeron-the-trigger men or the long, speeding convoys that Indian VVIPs love to flaunt as an indicator of their importance.
And to think that Pitt is alone worth over $100 million and Jolie earns $16 million per film. Jolie, one of the sexiest American stars, has been in the news of late for adopting a Cambodian and an Ethiopian child and for her charity — she donates one-third of her earnings. In her own words, she does this “because I earn a stupid income for what I do”.
Although it was wellknown that Brangelina were expected in Pune in the first week of October for the shooting of their film, A Mighty Heart, there was complete secrecy and lack of information on how and when exactly they would arrive here. Would they fly into Mumbai and then take a helicopter to Pune? Or would they fly directly into Pune?
Also unknown was where exactly they would be staying in Pune — whether it would be the farmhouses of builder Avinash Bhosale or industrialist Cyrus Poonawalla, or Hotel Le Meridien.
A Bombardier aircraft belonging to the Raymonds group quietly landed at Pune’s Lohegaon airport at 2.40 pm. According to top airport officials, they were not given the identity of the VIP occupants and neither were they told about the destination they were headed to.
It was only after Brangelina descended and entered into a Mercedes van that went right up to the tarmac, that their arrival was confirmed.
After that, there was complete confusion over whether the Mercedes van, followed by two other vehicles, was headed towards Le Meridien or to either of the two farmhouses located far apart from one one another in the city.
Significantly, the involvement of the local police was kept at the barest minimum as a result of which journalists were unable to get any information on the couple. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/2110423.cms
190 | India -thanks for all the info. on India.
India:
with New York or Los Angeles as a reference point, how is Pune compare to these cities, in terms of size, prosperity etc.
How is Pune compare to the capital?
and where is Taj Mahal?
I’m too lazy to look it up
How is Pune stacking up to some of the asian city like hong kong, tokyo
which city in Asia is similar to Pune.
Many thanks to your answers.

#195, Jen needs to let go. I think the sadness she emits when you look at her is the crushing feeling she has because of the damge to her publicity. Either that, or she just regrets not having Brad’s baby. I dunno. Don’t care. AHH, (slapping my hand)… Am discussing Jennifer Ansiton when I wasn’t supposed to! Such a hypocrite.
Hate that ***** Rachel Ray though. I use to love her, but not anymore. Sorry, to anyone who loves her.
165 | India |
Did you know there is actually a Rachel Ray sucks Live Journal blog with over a thousand member? Damn, those women hate her. I don’t really watch her show so I don’t care but apparantely the mainstream media knows about it and it’s actually very popular that it gets mentioned in articles…that’s how I found out about it.
#28: regarding the umbrella carriers…that is not only common in India but in other Asian countries. In the Philippines, you’d be surprised at a celebrity’s entourage or as Stardust has said, among upper and middle class families.
There are people who will fan you as you sit, hold your umbrella or purse as you walk. That is the culture. Some schoolkids don’t even carry their books or bags and have their nanny on standby at school so they can be fed when lunch comes…and I’m not talking about kindergarten kids either.
Get used to more pics or demonstrations of helpful gestures from the natives. It’s a matter of pride for any host country to show their hospitality and their appreciation for their visit.
189 | Tijen | Oh so Aron has home coming tomorrow too, well we have to share pics Rana is also going to home coming dance tomorrow and just got her flat shoes(long story) but lets compare pics that will be fun  my possible future cyber-in-law…….
CCCC, Estelle how are you ladies…. Brad and Angie look great don’t they and I love the fact that they are always together, oh how wonderful to be in love ;-)
Well, well, well I see Ms. Oprah-King is trying to get back into the Bamzs fold. Poor JA, with friends like Ms. O, who needs enemies? It’s amazing how quick they turn their backs on people and people wonder why AJ doesn’t have Hollywood friends.
198 | Anna -thanks for the article. What a smart way to do things.
India:
is auto rickshaw a common vehicle for ordinary people or are they mostly for tourist?
190 | India - Of course, those things happen all the time and not only in HW…it happens every where and every day and that’s life. You have to live with the cards you have been dealt and move on. JA, in my opinion, chose not see it that way. Instead she decided to throw her dirty laundry to the public for her own self-serving purposes and that’s why she is being judged for her actions. I don’t hate her, I just find it very disheartening when someone seeks sympathy by painting a story that is absolutely one-sided. She did not own up to her part of the failure and I have no respect for a person who plays that pity role. We all know that it does take two to tango.
