Pune: It’s official and confirmed! Hollywood’s star couple Brad Pitt and Anglina Jolie are in Pune at the Le Meridien.

After weeks of speculation, Brangelina finally arrived in Pune on Thursday afternoon.

The couple was spotted stepping out of their hotel on Friday afternoon and heading to an unknown destination.

Many members of the press, both, National and International, were parked outside the hotel ever since the celeb couple arrived.

Rumour mills had been working over time but no one had confirmed till now if the couple had landed.

“Yes, they (Pitt and Angelina) are here. It’s not a secret, they are here,” an airport official had said earlier.

Pitt and Angelina are in the city to shoot A Mighty Heart, a film on the life of journalist Daniel Pearl.

The film, produced by Pitt’s production house, is based on the book of the same title by Daniel’s wife, Mariane Pearl.

The DJ mentioned that it’s a sickness in society that people build celebrities up and then love it when something bad happens to them to tear them down a notch.

Anyway, the woman said that a cover like Anna Nicole’s will sell because of her situation right now. But if it wasn’t happening she wouldn’t sell a cover. She went on to say Jennifer Aniston is like that. She only sells when something is going on in her life unlike Brad and Angelina. She said the American people consistantly want to know how they are, what they’re up to and are the kids doing well.

Cliniqua as you may already know I am Greek and I can assure you that nobody gives a **** about her here. All of her movies such as “Delaired” and “Rumor Has It” got extremely bad buzz from the Greek critics and the audience and they both bombed in the Greek box office. If it wasn’t for the reruns of “Friends” every year (And of course Brad) we wouldn’t even know that she is Greek let alone that she existed. And most of people are still watching friends because of Ross Joy and Chandler or even Monica. I’ve never heard anyone saying that he laughed hysterically with something Rachel did or with something Rachel said. NEVER! I personally admire Tom Hanks most. He is not Greek but he adores Greece and he comes for vacation every year in Kefalonia with his family.

I was a big fan of Kanakaredes when she was on the CBS soap “Guiding Light”. They had a family on the show that was Greek and her character came to the US from Greece, so she had to fake a Greek accent for about 4 years. She said she was basically mimicking her grandmother. She won an Emmy for playing Eleni and you could tell that she wasn’t going to stay in soaps for too long. I’ve always been a little surprised that she never made it in movies. Pune, Oct 6 (IANS) Hollywood star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt preferred to rest in their suites at Hotel Le Meridien here since their belated arrival Thursday afternoon amid tight private security and impregnable secrecy.

Paparazzi ready to go on trail of the celebrities hung around the hotel lounge since Friday morning, but grew weary as the day declined without affording even a fleeting glimpse of the celluloid world’s popular stars.

Braving incessant rains, a group of journalists also waited outside a few appointed shooting locales of the upcoming Pitt production ‘A Mighty Heart’ only to know that the duo proposed to start the shooting Sunday.

However, the rumours are that they sneaked out from the hotel to take a brief tour of the city.

Meanwhile, a gratuitous sidelight came from a slighted top cop who said contrary to what the newspapers dished out and film buffs believed, the Brangelina couple had not yet arrived in the city.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Special Branch) S.N. Bhoomkar told IANS Friday afternoon that neither any government agency nor any hotel has informed the police about the celebrities’ arrival.

‘Not only that, our own enquiries at all the places where the Jolie-Pitt duo is supposed to stay and do the shooting have not yielded any positive information about their arrival’, Bhoomkar asserted.

Lohegaon airport director Deepak Shastri however, confirmed to IANS that he personally saw Jolie and Pitt arrive, children in tow.

‘They might not have informed the police or asked for security but come of course, they have’, he said.

While the two were still at Le Meridien till Friday evening where they went straight from the airport Thursday, sources said Jolie and Pitt are likely to move out to Avinash Bhosale’s Baner Road farmhouse.

‘This is primarily because the farmhouse is private premises away from the din and bustle of the city and equipped with a helipad.

Two sprawling bungalows in Sindh Society, Aundh, a few kilometers away from Baner Road that the production unit has booked, will be used for shooting, sources said.

While the star duo is under foolproof private security, ACP Bhoomkar is understandably conscious of the responsibility of the police to ensure official security given the possibility of the celebrity pair’s fans flocking them wherever they go.

Bhoomkar said the Le Meridien management did not send police the mandatory ‘C Form’ carrying details of foreign nationals’ arrival and stay.

‘Even when we enquired with the hotel authorities, we didn’t get any information’, Bhoomkar said.

The hotel’s reception section in-charge told IANS that they were under instructions not to divulge any information about the guests to anybody.

‘The star couple came in yesterday. I cannot say anything more than that’, said the receptionist.

‘It is the responsibility of the foreign nationals and their local hosts to keep the police informed about their stay and movements’, Bhoomkar said.

‘In the case of Jolie and Pitt it is all the more necessary because of their stardom and the possibility of their being mobbed’, he added.

Staying with his deductive ‘haven’t yet arrived’ refrain, Bhoomkar said Pitt’s production team might have arrived and preparations for the shooting might be on but ‘the star couple is yet to come according to my definite information.’

To a pointed query whether a ‘C Form’ containing names of foreign nationals minus those of the star couple has been received from Le Meridien, Bhoomkar retorted, ‘The way you are asking questions, it seems that you don’t believe me. But I have definite information that Jolie and Pitt are yet to arrive.’

I meant to say that stardust pic show the high forehead up close, but it’s not receding like say Iman or Nicole Kidman.

I found this on IDLUITW-a former Chinochio fan is going to write a tell all about fannistons!

As a former member of the Team Aniston side I can tell you this Team is full of jealousy, anger, hatred and vindictiveness. I always thought of Angelina as beautiful, however when I first started blog posting, I ended up in a group of haters. I thought these were nice people but it progressed into you’re either with us or against us in the Aniston realm.

I found myself engaging in despicable actions targeted against women only because they weren’t on our “Team”. It became obsessive. Mornings, afternoons and evenings were filled with PM’s, emails and secret board chatter full of hate, jealousy and targets against Angelina fans. Things you would never do or say to people in real life to their faces were carried out behind the anonymousity of the internet. People were hurt, feelings were hurt. It became a very bad and unbearable situation.

I distanced myself after witnessing this group slinging racial slurs against Angelina’s children, wishing death upon her and her children. Grown women had these feelings and why? Gossip should be fun but when you cross the line and start calling children names or wishing them death it becomes deeply despicable and emotionally psychotic.

This solidified my decision to step away from this evil group. The constant negativity and hate drained everyone’s soul. People don’t believe me when I say this group lives their lives around hating Brangelina. The world is passing them by and nothing constructive can commence from their actions.

Brangelina has moved on. Aniston and her fans have not and I don’t see it happening anytime in the distant future. I don’t hold grudges for their actions, only pity. Jealousy is never a good thing.

It’s good to finally be back on the winning Team known as BAMZS.

Brad is executive producing a film overseas, which Angelina just happens to be starring in, about a subject matter that is not a walk in the park (terrorism/beheading), in a place where chaos could ensue around them without careful planning/protection/security…along with his entire family, they have also flown in perhaps 50 crew members, and are responsible for them as well as the product. He is overseeing all of it. Now, behind closed doors — THAT is another story.

I would say that it’s more a case of Brad doesn’t have to walk ahead of her to fend off the paparazzi! He knows how much she hates having them stalking her, so he goes ahead of her and the kids to protect them. In Europe they don’t have to worry about that as much because most of the countries have laws that force the razzi to keep their distance.

Hey guys! Just came home from watching the Departed. It’s amazing. I’ve always been a fan of Leo and this is by far his best performace. Matt Damon did great too.
The movie grabs your attention and holds it from start to finish. It’s definitely a must-see, y’all. If there’s ever been a can’t-miss movie, it’s this one. It’s violent, and the language is quite coarse, but there are so many other intricacies in it I almost didn’t mind it. It’s a little over two hours long, but it felt like a lot less, and I’m usually not a fan of movies like this.
