Angelina Jolie’s Bodyguard Lays The Smackdown
Here are better pictures of Angelina Jolie sitting poolside at Le Meridien Hotel yesterday in Pune, about 200 kilometers southeast of Mumbai, India. Inset: Angelina’s security officer, Mickey Brett, manhandling paparazzi outside of Le Meridien. More pictures in the gallery including a clearer one Baby Zahara points something out to daddy Brad Pitt.
Angelina is in Pune to shoot Micheal Winterbottom’s A Mighty Heart, a film about American journalist Daniel Pearl who was slain by terrorists in Pakistan four years ago. Angelina plays Daniel’s widow Mariane. More pictures in the gallery…

That’s so true. Geez Brad has a lot of Oscar contenders on his hands. The Departed, Running With Scissors, God Grew tired of Us, and of course Babel. Brad has the potential to become one of the most well known and succesful producers of all time.
for those of you who have seen The Departed, how would you rate it:
- acting - we all know the actors and what they are capable of . i.e. nicholson. How would you rate the other excerpt nicholson :lol:
- direction - I know it is all scorcese but where does the producer come into play. In short, at what point did you say - now THAT is Brad at work! :lol:. I want to go tomorrow and savor that moment.
- who was the weakest actor and why

Stardust - This is a prime example of why B/A won’t be staying that this hotel for very long. So far we’ve gotten information about which floor they’re staying on, what rooms numbers they’re in, where the guards are stationed!, when they left the building and how and in what kind of vehicles and for how long, that their kids were left with a nanny, and what they had for lunch! NONE of this stuff leaked out in Paris, Berlin, Davos, London OR Namibia.
I thought the reasons hotels reached 4 and 5 star status was because of their amenities, their service and their DISCRETION. The Meridien chains have a good rep for being high class…but so far…this hotel ain’t cutting the mustard. I’m willing to bet that they move from there by Wednesday.
I’m glad to hear such good reviews from everyone about The Departed, I’m going to try to go tomorrow. So Jack, Matt, and Leo all gave great performances? I am happy to hear that too, but is it possible any of them would be against Brad in Best Supporting Actor if nominated? Or maybe their performances were good but not up to that level?

brad could face competition from nicholson if he’s nominated in the best supporting actor category. but the guy who scares me is forrest whitaker. from what i understand, his role in The Last King of Scotland is being considered supporting and not lead. looks like it’s going to be tight competition for braddy!

Go see “The Departed”, it’s a great movie. I have watched the Infernal Affairs movie too. I really like both. This is the first time that I like a movie made from another. Love it with Brad Pitt’s name as a producer.

acting–excellent. with the exception of aforementioned actress.
directing–excellent again. scorcese keeps you jumping.
as for where the producer comes in play, from what i understand, as the producer braddy’s the money man so the quality of the work overall is his domain. and it was very high quality work.

I’ve thought of that, too. Considering this particular razzo was British…and Mickey hails from the isles…I’d say it’s a good chance that they’ve had a run in or two before. IIRC Mickey worked for Nicole Kidman before Angie, so he’s got experience guarding high profile celebs who are stalked by the razzi. Granted, Nic never had to deal with anything like the frenzy that’s surrounding B/A, but Mickey’s been around and he knows who allthe scumbags are.

Anyone can get the coodinates and timezone by doing a little research. And about the part of her waking up at 4:00 am…well somone here posted an article from the Mumbai Mirror that stated Brad and Angelina were spotted taking a morning walk at 4:00 am to avoid the paps.

Photographers and journalists are taking turns to stay up and keep a watch on the movements of the couple, through the night. Apparently, the star couple went for a walk at 4.30 am yesterday, presumably to avoid the media. But they were seen by a few night watchmen among the media.
