I think Kate does and will continue to benefit from it. Just for the record, I don’t have anything against her and never have. Funny thing is that when I saw Kate and Owen on the red carpet, I got a “sense” about them that made me say they would be good together, just like when I saw Brad and Angie in the promos for MAMS, I immediately got that same feeling. Also, many in the public think Kate and Owen won’t last…just like at the time people thought Brad and Angie wouldn’t last more than a couple of months. I think it’s been unofficially proven, that the couples that the public thinks are stable are the ones that break up and the couples that the public thinks will break up, magically stay together. Like Antonio and Melanie Griffith. I know she has her problems but they have managed to stay together.

Coincedentally, I think Brad and Angelina will benefit if Kate and Owen stay together…because there seems to be no outcry over them…it makes people question why there was outcry over Brad and Angie in the first place and why Kate is getting a different treatment from the media.

Thanks MAniston for the hook-up on the Departed…I’m going to see it on Sunday. But I love your description of the audience reaction to Brad Pitt producer credit…I’m hoping this movie get nominated for Best Picture because I think thats Brad best chance for an Oscar.

It still early in the season and more movies are coming out and this year is very competitive for Best Supporting Actor, imo. But Best Pictrue I really believe he has a great chance for that award. I’m waiting for Clint Eastwood’s movie and how great that one is.

I knew this was gonna happen. To TPTB: You all should have use the fake itineraries. It’s used in the business all the time. Everyone should email the hotels corporate headquarters to complain about unhospitable & unprofessional behaviour by employees of the Le meredien. Discretion is a selling point for many upscale hotels, and here the people are having diarrhea of the mouth. WTF? No Western actors will want to go to that property. As far as the “media” over there, WTF is this about a press conference? For what? Angelina is there to shoot a movie, to work. She needs to give a press conference for that? Sorry , she should concentrate on delivering the goods on screen with this shoot. AFTER the shoot is over, then maybe she can say that Pune was very hospitable to the cast & crew (she won’t know until the end of the shoot). Again to TPTB, I hope you secured confidentiality agreements with everyone associated with A Mighty Heart. Western journalists will try to grease some palms just to get any scrap of information. The cast & crew will be there for a whole month. There will be opportunities for photos. They all need to chill.
