- On being voted “Best Breasts” by a weekly tabloid: “I’m sure my mom will be proud. You work hard making independent films for fourteen years and you get voted best breasts.”
- On being voted “Best Bum” in a British poll: “There are plenty of girls with nicer butts. There are plenty of girls who work harder for nicer butts. What about my brain? What about my heart? What about my kidneys and my gallbladder?”
- On posing nude for Vanity Fair with Keira Knightley: “It was surprisingly comfortable. Everyone was so busy working or loading film. Here I am, Keira and I, and we’re totally naked, and some guy is on his BlackBerry. But I guess it’s better than if they were all looking at me.”
- On offering to go nude during a scene in The Island: “They wanted to make me wear this bra when I woke up in the morning. And I was like, Why don’t they just have a sheet draped over me? Nobody sleeps in bras, except maybe French women.”

I love Scarlett, I think she is sexy and wholesome all at the same time. She’s got a long future in Hollywood!!!!
This is what kills me–she claims she wants people to know she is intelligent and be known for her supposed “brain” and “heart”, but if that’s true, then why doesn’t she do stuff (e.g. like Angelina’s humanitarian efforst) so that people will stop talking about her boobs so much? Oh, wait, I know–because she’s a hypocrite and really does like all of the attention she gets for her boobs. Keep it up Scarlett–that’s all you’ll really be known for.
she does do “humanitarian efforst” ie the red campaign. unless of course you want her to adopt an african baby? she’s 21. i think criticisms about that is petty.
you people take her too seriously. her gallbladder comment was defintiely said with humour, as though shes trivializing the glamour of having big boobs and a nice butt.
haters should just say she’s fugly and move on.

Nah, I’m not expecting her to adpot a baby, a.l. Just, you know, not talkiing about how much she loooooooves her boobs (which are lovely), or how much she can’t be monogomaous, and, now, that she gets tested for AIDS twice a year…you know, all of that stuff…then maybe she will be taken a bit more seriously. It sounds like that’s what she wants sometimes.

yea scarlett is a pretty girl ,but I’ve seen more pretty and sexy girls be4 alot of people say that these magazines just wanna see new faces they dont wanna pick the same chick every time,,,,,so people just believe in what you see ,dont believe some silly magazines ,you got your own eyes ,you decide whos hot and whos not ,,,,dont wait for them to tell you…..although some flirting is nice,,lol!!!!!!
