Angelina’s Auto-Rickshaw Ride
Earlier today, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was spotted taking their 5-year-old son Maddox for a ride in an auto-rickshaw through Pune, about 200km South-east of Mumbai, India.
Inset: Dan Futterman, who was also spotted at Le Meridien hotel, will play the role of Daniel Pearl in A Mighty Heart, a film about American journalist Daniel Pearl who was slain by terrorists in Pakistan four years ago. Angelina Jolie plays Daniel’s widow Mariane.

You can clearly see where his fingers are holding on to her left thigh, then a separation…in between legs, of course… then her right thigh which is sitting a bit higher than the left . PUNE: Brangelina are not confined to the luxurious suite at the Le Meridien hotel, as made out to be. In fact, the couple have been making the most of their stay despite the restriction on their movement, and snooping media all around.
With the help of their super efficient security entourage, the couple have been visiting various parts of the five-star hotel like the roof-top restaurant, the gym and even managed to get themselves Wendell Rodricks creations from the hotel boutique.
According to sources, Angelina Jolie has been gymming at the eighth floor health club of the Le Meridien everyday. While the club is usually open from 6.30 am to 9 pm, Jolie uses it later and only after her security personnel ensure that everyone has left the gym.
On Saturday, a guest caught a glimpse of the couple and their eldest son on the fifth floor. “Angelina seems to be friendly. She was dressed in jeans and a casual top and looked my way and acknowledged me when they passed by. Brad, however, looked straight through me,” he said.
“Their security guards reached the floor before them. They even asked me to leave the floor using the stairs since Angelina and Brad would be taking the elevator up. I refused and just sat on the sofa in front of the elevator.”
The couple has also reportedly been getting themselves clothes from the boutique at the hotel. One of Brangelina’s security officers is said to be visiting the store nearly everyday, buying shirts for Pitt and tops for Jolie.
The officer had reportedly inquired for the most expensive clothes in town and was informed that they were available at the hotel store itself. The Wendell Rodricks outfits range from Rs 2,500 upwards and are popular among Bollywood stars like Shilpa Shetty and Isha Koppikar.
On Sunday evening, the security officer is said to have visited the store looking for a scarf but ended up picking party clothes for the couple, supposedly, for an outing later at night. Jolie is also reported to have got an appointment fixed for a stylist from the hotel salon Lizzie’s to visit her room.

OFF TOPIC: The Departed made $27M over the weekend. I think that is rather low. It’s still the number 1 movie but still. Americans don’t seem to be going to the movie as much. I think that god-awful Miami Vice made that much too in its first week, too. Just think M&MS made $53M in June 05…..I saw it and it was great….

I shouldn’t laugh at people but you folks who think that’s Madd’s leg do know that when a right leg bends (if you believe it’s maddox’s) the inner thigh in on the inside and not outside like the thigh Brad’s holding on. Children may put their shoes on backwards but you can’t put your legs on backwards. It’s anatomically IMPOSSIBLE for that to be Madd’s leg.

The most coveted destination continued to be the Le Meridien in Pune on the fourth day of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s stay in the city. There were no signs of the hysteria ebbing, and Sunday saw the maximum number of people surrounding the place to catch a glimpse of the celebrity couple.
Continuing to roam the streets in a rickshaw, the couple had a different agenda on Sunday. They changed their rickshaw on reaching the Inox theatre to give people the slip. But not before acknowledging the crowds by waving and shaking hands with them.
For call centre employees Sandeep Mahadik and Bhupendra Tenisari, who trailed the couple on their bikes, it was a ride they will always treasure. “I shook hands with Brad and greeted both of them. Both were very friendly and gave us the victory sign. We asked them how they were finding their stay in Pune, to which they replied, ‘Rocking’.”
