He’s on crack. Period. He’s very negative about Angelina BUT he praises Paris “Roast beef” Hilton for creating a “brand”. He called her very smart and the fact that she looks the way she does helps her. He really was gushing over her. That, my friends says volumes, ok? He also was caught up in that celebrity baby boom when his wife Melania gave birth to Baron Trump. The Trumps have 10 times more money that Jolie-Pitt but hardly made the national or internation news with this birth. Only here in NYC there was extensive coverage. This probably made him mad. he was very rude and these statments will bite him in his a$$. Mr. Trump is far down the list on the Forbes 400, so why he’s acting so pompous is beyond me. He has no basic manners and no reason to discuss Angelina. So what if he is good friends with JV? Did he ask JV why he wasn’t in Angelina’s life as a child?

KING: OK, back to some thing current. You recently applauded Brad Pitt’s stance on not marrying Angelina Jolie. I believe you said that you consider everyone — when he said everyone should be married but don’t bug him, why?

TRUMP: Well, look, number one, I know her father. Her father is a nice guy. I think she treats him like a dog but maybe they have some kind of a thing.

KING: Yes, why, he’s a good guy?

TRUMP: I mean this poor sap he comes along and he practically begs her, “I want to see my grandson. I want to see this.” I mean if I were with him, I’d say “Forget it. It’s over.”

KING: He’s also a great actor, Jon Voight.

TRUMP: I think he’s a great actor and she just treats him terribly. She’s been with so many guys she makes me look like a baby, OK, with the other side. And, I just don’t even find her attractive. That has nothing to do with why I said it though.

He made that statement, right, and he made it like he’s doing this wonderful thing for humanity. I think he probably made it just because he doesn’t want to get married, which is, you know, not so bad.

Forget Donald Trump. He’s a joke.

As I’ve said before, I won’t criticise anyone for wanting to break off
relations with his/her parents. Young children will actually cling
to a parent who beats and abuses him rather then leave, will
actually twist himself to conform and please a critical parent
rather then tell them to f** off. This is because a child really
wants to be with his parents. When a father abandons his child,
leaves them for months at the time and sees them erratically and
infrequently, he is effectively saying “My Child, I don’t really give
much of a damn about you.”

When a grown up child tells her father that she doesn’t want to
have anything to do with him, he’s probably done something to
deserve it. I’m sure it is a painful decision for the child. I know of
2 people who have “divorced” their fathers in separate cases and
in both cases, they were ABANDONED by their father when they
were young children. In Jon voights case, we know that he pretty
much abandoned his children while he pursued the high life in
Hollywood and elsewhere. he admitted it himself (probably coz he
couldn’t have done otherwise). I’ve said it before and I’ll say it
again. The world is full of husbands who have left their wives.
This happens to people. But it takes a special sort of sh** for a
father to leave his children. Perhaps, one day Angelina may let
him back into her life but at the moment, as Lainey wrote (and
sometimes that Lainey can hit the nail on the head), Jon’s public
protestations smells of publicity stunts. Yuck.

gerry, first of all not a lot of people even know how mariane pearl looks like. and 2nd only people like you will be the one focusing on their looks instead of focusing on the whole story of the movie.

When the new thread comes in, we have to be careful whatever we write. We dont want to give ideas to those haters.

Man, these poor people! I know they are huge celebritis, but still, that is scary and frustrating. You can see how they are both trying to protect Maddox. I hope they have an enjoyable visit in India. Unfortunately, they might have to take a more protected mode of transportation from now on though, to give them some peace of mind.

I didn’t know CNN had turned into a tabloid. I used to regard your network as a true form of journalism, but after the Larry King interview with Donald Trump, I will not be watching any longer. The malicious comments made about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were soley for the purpose of sensationalism. It’s sad when an organization such a yours condones this kind of behavior. The number of Jolie and Pitt fans are legion, and we will not support any programing of this nature.
