Victoria Beckham: GOLD PLATED
Victoria Beckham takes the cover of Australia’s Harper’s Bazaar November 2006 issue. Here are some choice excerpts from the featured Harper’s Bazaar article:
- [Tom] Cruise called [David and Victoria Beckham] while visiting Madrid last year and invited them out to dinner. “I was so surprised,” Beckham recalls. ‘My God, I thought, ‘It’s Maverick! Hope he wears his aviator jacket and sunglasses!’.
- “I’ve spoken to [Tom Cruise] about Scientology — I’m quite inquisitive — but I don’t know anything about it,” she says honestly. They do what they do and they’re cool.”
- “I don’t like anyone watching me buy my knickers and bras. But that’s what the way it is. Would I have met David if I hadn’t been famous? Probably not. Because of our fame, we have a lot of money and it’s enabled me to do what I want in fashion. But do I wish I Could be anonymous? Of course I don’t need to feed my ego that way any more.”

What do you mean that they never had a nanny? David pratices with his team, his stupid wife is either shops or do something useless, they are never at home; who is taking care of the kids? They take care of themselves?
And I don’t want to believe what she says because she said that she never and ever had a plastic surgery but it was proved that she LIED!

ONE WORD FITS HER– PATHETIC!
She can’t even close her mouth anymore due to all of the injections. I haven’t seen a recent picture of her with her mouth closed all of the way - because it can’t. I don’t have much use for her. And no, not because I’m ‘fat and lazy’ but because she used to be very pretty and real. Two boob jobs, anorexia, and plenty of other injections later - now she just looks like a piece of plastic that only slightly resembles the pretty woman she used to be. I hate seeing women waste themselves, and that’s what she’s done.
Mediterranean– totally agree with your comments– they are too self-absorbed to be intereseted in actually parenting their children–and to squid- do you not think celebs say things so that they come across as likeable to the public? Of course they are going to say that they don’t use a nanny- because they know that the public’s percpetion of them will be likeable if they (the public) thinks they have this oh so glamorous life and still watch over their own kids– it’s disgusting…
