Donkeys slow down the paparazzi as they chase Angelina through the crowded streets of Pune

The paparazzi assembled at Pune are showing no signs of weakening. Yesterday a cluster of them, 20-odd packed into five cars and a few more in autorickshaws, chased Angelina Jolie all the way from Le Meridien to Aundh. Angelina didn’t appear too perturbed, as she sat with her head studiously tucked into the book, Crimes of War.

As they reached Aundh, however, both the chasers and the chased came up against a unique roadblock – a pack of donkeys. Everything came to a standstill then, and the photographers could get a picture. In the hurry to get ahead, however, one of the paparazzi cars dashed into a passing motorbike, overturning it and injuring the couple riding on it. Residents of Aundh, a normally sleepy suburb of Pune, mustn’t be too happy with the extravaganza unfolding in their backyard, anyway. Now there’s speeding paparazzi posing a risk to their life and limb…

Meanwhile, there’s also rivalry brewing between the paparazzi. Apparently, some of them who were in an auto and couldn’t get near enough Angelina’s Merc because the way was being blocked by another paparazzi car, flashed a knife at the photographers in the car.

The message is loud and clear. Anything for a sneak peak through the lens at Angelina Jolie.

Christ on a Cracker! A Knife? Ok, that’s it. I want them to get this movie filmed tuit suit and get their asses home. This is downright dangerous. And a plane crashed in NYC today that is the same kind of plane as Angie’s too.

I guarantee you, Brad is holdiong on tight to his baby tonight. I bet he was scared and I can only just imagine what he was thinking when they told him there had been an accident. Thank goodness nobody was seriously hurt.

If I were that candidate, I would have stayed away for a while but instead she is a glutton for publicity and would stoop to great lengths to get it. It is good in a way, because everyone will see what we have been talking about for a while… her thirst for recognition outweighs her dignity.

-The same Mini Van Maority happens to be X’s main fanbase.

-Oprah is not diminished by X’s presence on the set. X’s limited life and career allow Oprah to shine.
- Angelina who’s half the age of Oprah, has a much bigger presence than Oprah, be it humanitarian, career, looks, children, you name it. Oprah would be “looking up” speaking to Angelina, and “looking down” speaking to X.

Anna, I do think you are on the right track.

I used tolike Oprah, then I couldn’t stand her when she was doing all the low-life stuff competing Jenny Jones etc.., then in the early 90’s she said she’d never do any more of those sensational shows and she got better again. She seemed more altruistic, so she won me back. Well I admit I haven’t watched her now in YEARS, I just am too busy…and once when I did happen to be home and catch her show a year or so ago, there she was doing tabloid child molester/ famliy drama typr stuff again. I was thinking, WTF?? I thought she said she stopped this? Needless to say she lost me again, and now, with all this Jen Ass-kissing she’s doing, she’ll never, ever get me back now.

The Mini Van Majority are a bunch of co-dependent, no-life, lame brain zombies living the so-called “American Dream” in the mundania that is Suburban USA. They’re asleep to the real world, and people like Angie scare the hell out of them.

YES! Talking down but apprearing as a warm, understanding shoulder to cry on (Oprah’s greatest small screen adaptation).

I SO agree that she should stay away for a while-all the publicity which surrounds her presently is of the trash variety.
I actually find it so hard to believe that she’s so stupid to appear on Oprah NOW, that I’ll only fully believe it when it’s credibly announced that she’ll be on the show.
