Angelina Jolie Reads “Crimes of War”
Angelina Jolie was just snapped reading “Crimes of War: What the Public Should Know” by Roy Gutman. Angelina, 31, was spotted reading the book on her way to the set of her upcoming film A Mighty Heart‘ in Pune, India. A Mighty Heart is about American journalist Daniel Pearl who was slain by terrorists in Pakistan four years ago. Angelina plays Daniel’s widow Mariane, on whose book of the same name the film is based upon.

That is why I like this site. So many lovers of the jolie - pitt family. Most of the other sites are full of hateraid.
Off topic: Last night, Keith Olbermann did a short piece on Paris Hilton allegedly being punched by Shanna Moakler. On the screen it said, “A **** and Battery” and frankly, only huffington post is making a big deal of it.
I consider myself to be a feminist and I don’t throw around the word “****” but I find myself agreeing with KO. This is a woman who has built her career on slutiness.
What do you guys think?

I think its always easy to fall into calling women names when its someone you don’t like. But the min. the word is used against someone you do like its offenseive. That’s been my experience.
I don’ t think calling someone a ***** makes anything better. It is just the continuation of degrading women. I don’t care for Paris but I occationally cringe when some throws that word around. Look at her parents, the people around her. No one is discuraging her to stop being so “easy” and find a more fulfilling life. I’d call them some names before I call Paris a ****.

she’s just tackiness personify. And no amount of charity work
is going to cure that. By the way, she looks like a ghost in that

I must say I get why people think she´s stuck up- she really looks the part most of the time.
But she sure as hell is very nice in interviews.
hmmmm…….never heard of the book, she should read The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi or Hagakure by Yamamoto Tsunetomo Those are interesting books too. But I think I will look into Crimes of War. I’m always look for something aesthetic to read. Has anyone here read Crimes of War?? If so what is your opinion on it??

I read with sunglasses on all the time, especially in the car when there’s a glare. You’re scraping the bottom of the barrel for something snarky to say and you know it. Give it a rest.
#61 I do agree that “****” and names like are degrading but then again, America is disrespectful towards women in general. We have a restaurant chain ( a populare one at that) dedicated to breasts .
And I also agree that Paris’s upbringing shaped who she is today but she has free will and is not some teenager, so she is also at fault for her beahavoir. Her sister Nicky is almost the total opposite of her and she was dragged into the Paris’s party life when she was just 13.

Good Afternoon everyone!Will the haters ever quit!She looks pale,give me a break!The picture was taken in a car through a window,the light is reflecting duh!Anything to ***** about and keep the hate going after all it has been almost 2 years.The woman is reading a book for crying out loud.Bamzs fan’s just ignore these sad souls.They are sad people still stuck in 2004 and it’s almost 2007.I would like to see a picture of Angelina standing and without a jacket,I’m curious about something.
okay, so here’s my schtick. I like angelina, always have. I don’t like “brangelina” because I think brad is a bit lame in terms of just assuming the identity of whoever he is with. But that’s neither here nor there.
Why do I like angelina? (these are all ASSUMPTIONS because I don’t personally know her nor do I pretend to):
(1) she’s into humanitarian work and backs it up by visiting victims and donating $$$
(2) she’s very active, not too many pictures of her shopping/going to the spa/getting starbucks ala Paris, Britney, etc.
(3) she’s clearly a devoted mother
(4) she is goal oriented
(5) she doesn’t care what people think about her
(6) in interviews, she does not come off as someone who takes herself so freaking seriously or is pretentious about her life
(7) she’s always looking to improve herself and expand her horizons
NOTE–none of these reasons are because she’s “beautiful”–blah. 90% of hollywood is “beautiful.”
So I guess my question and my challenge to you is: how do you all think angelina would feel about the HOURS each of you spends each day on this site? You are hateful, you are cruel to anyone who disagrees with you, you freely use words like “****” “************” and you personally attack people for their opinions.
Rather than follow the example she sets by being people of ACTION, you are obsessed with “haters” and making useless points on CELEBRITY BLOG WEBSITE. None of you knew what “crimes of war” was about, you had to go to amazon to find out. Chances are you thought “crimes of war” had something to do with aniston’s interview with vanity fair.
I like the pictures on JJ and come on here about once a day to look at the ones he’s posted. I allow myself about 10 minutes a day of “vacation” times from work. Seriously, I wished all of you worked as hard on humanitarian issues as you on “defending” your idol.
