Nice to see that you used my name in your post. How original. The fact is, JA is a whinny, needy non-talented actress that constantly seek the approval of the public. Who cares about her lovelife when there are more pressing issues going on in the world and more talented people that have not been given the Oprah platform. Everytime there is a scandal or tabloid stories dealing with this chick, she runs to Mama Oprah. JA is a winny little girl and so are most of her fans.

If they were REALLy together not only would they have “admitted it” by now, but they would be engaged. The simple fact is, she has never kissed him with open mouth (always friendly pecks on the cheek) and the romance photos were movie stills. They are friends who find the pressure of fame hard to deal with so they sit around acting like they own the world and smoke weed together. That’s about it. This whole “relationship” is BS. They pretended to be together since nobody was watching Jen at the movies and everyone was more interested in her personal life. As for Jennifer and Vince, I think the feelings at the start of the
relationship were genuine enough. I don’t think the lap dancing
was for public consumption given they were on a high balcony and
probably didn’t think a pap would be there. Also, the kissing in
the bushes (remember those photos??). I do think the
relationship ended a while back but they kept a public appearance
of being together without actually confirming it one way or the
other so as not to jeopardise TBU. Manipulative? Sure.

IMO, Jen has been manipulative of her fans from the VF Interview
onwards. To me, the only reason why Jen’s friends need to be
involved in an interview about Jen’s break up with her husband is
to manipulate the fans and public’s perception of Jennifer and her
break up.

In the VF Interview, her friends basically said:

“You see, she’s hurt, you see, its his fault, he checked out of the
relationship, he didn’t really want a baby with Jen and you should
believe her because we, her friends, who know ALL about their
relationship, say so”.

LOL. Why can’t Jen say this herself?? But she didnt. why not if
this is her perception of the truth? Speak your truth quietly and

I used to be sympathetic of Jen. It must be hard to go through a
divorce in the public eye, after being held up as the “golden
couple” and I do think they were “golden” both blond and
attractive. But I don’t like being manipulated to feel sorry for her.

Upfront I’ll say that I am no Brad/Angelina fan, but I would be willing to bet that they have given the promised money in good faith. Judging from the red tape in our government(s) in the US and the charitable organizations, I’ll bet there is simply miscommunication on a grand scale. Her heart broke the day the two finally met.

He was waiting for her at First Watch Restaurant near the Naples beach on Gulfshore Boulevard North. He was tall, 6-foot-2, just like he had said in his letters, and thin.

After Harpo shoots in Naples, Elizabeth is expected to be flown to Chicago to be filmed on the set with Oprah.

Glamour will fly her to Los Angeles for the movie premier, where she will get to meet and mingle with the actors and directors of all three mini-movies, including Jennifer Aniston, star of the popular TV sitcom “Friends.”

Aniston directed “Room 10,” a story inspired by Glamour reader Colleen Geldrick.

Schemmer’s mini-movie “Orchids” is co-written and directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, daughter of renowned Hollywood actor and director Ron Howard.

The film is based on the Schemmers’ love story and features actors Katherine Waterston and Alfred Molina.

On Oct. 17, the three mini-movies will begin touring in 10 cities across the nation where the underwriter, Cartier, has boutiques.

The public will be able to see the movies in December when Glamour magazine puts them on the Web site http://glamalert.com/reelmoments/.

The movie “Orchids” is a great love story, said Samantha Rosenthal, director of public relations for Glamour, during a telephone interview from New York.

“It’s soooo good,” she said. “I did very much like the story. It’s a beautiful film.”

The entire “Glamour Reel Moments” project is designed to promote women in film, she said. It is intended to support the telling of real women’s stories and to encourage women who are already in film to get behind the camera, not just in front of it — to try their hand at writing and directing. Glamour teamed with the production company Moxie Pictures on the project. Cartier supported the making of the films to promote its “Love” jewelry collection.

This year’s theme of the film series is “Love in all its forms.”

Elizabeth was low-key about all the acclaim her love story is receiving.

“It’s a story written from the heart,” she said. “It wasn’t even grammatically correct.”

A magazine can’t be just a magazine anymore. Seventeen had a melodramatic reality show on MTV. Maxim attached its name to a line of bedding at Macy’s and a station on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Now, in the name of female empowerment and ambitious brand extension, Glamour is trying to make its mark in the movie business. In October, the magazine will revive its “Reel Moments” series of short films based on true stories from readers, this time with three films directed by Hollywood celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Bryce Dallas Howard.

The magazine recruited Cartier as the sole sponsor of the new series, a deal that will earn an estimated $1.8 million for Glamour. (Cartier also gets 10 ad pages in the magazine.)

The project makes Glamour the latest magazine to promote itself aggressively beyond its print incarnation. “We have to understand that Glamour is first and foremost a magazine, but we’re also a brand, a brand that competes in a very competitive marketplace,” said Bill Wackermann, the vice president and publisher of Glamour, which is published by Condé Nast. The company is doing “anything we can do that will bring our magazine to life,” he said.

Cartier is also trying to spread its name more widely. Its sponsorship of the project will allow the company to reach a younger and more mainstream reader than members of its core clientele, who are more likely to read magazines like Vogue, W and Vanity Fair.

“We are always looking for new, younger customers who are open to the world, fashion-conscious,” said Olivier Stip, the senior vice president for marketing at Cartier. (The connection is also a boon to Glamour, which is more likely to feature ads for Midol or Neutrogena than a luxury jeweler.)

And the female-friendly films, all based on love themes, may give Glamour an edge in its pursuit of authenticity among its women readers. An advisory board of women in the entertainment industry chose the winning stories from among thousands of entries by Glamour readers, who were asked to submit short essays about moments in their lives that made them “victorious, stronger or wiser.”

•The films are written, directed and acted almost entirely by women, produced by a woman from Moxie Pictures in Los Angeles, and will partially benefit FilmAid International, a nonprofit group that introduces women in underdeveloped countries to film. The magazine has recruited Hollywood actresses to donate their time to the films, including Robin Wright Penn and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

For Ms. Aniston, who is making her directorial debut, the film was a chance to step behind the camera and participate in a project with more substance than the standard Hollywood romantic comedy.

Her film, “Room 10,” co-directed by Andrea Buchanan, is the tale of a nurse whose personal problems are illuminated when she tends to a dying patient. The reader’s story, Ms. Aniston said, reminded her of a conversation she had with a therapist years earlier.

“She said, ‘It’s about who shows up at the end of your life,’ ” Ms. Aniston recalled in a telephone interview from Los Angeles. “I was just so moved.”

The project also satisfied her urge to correct what she called “a big beef” — the small number of female directors working in Hollywood. “I’m not like a bleeding heart feminist or a bleeding heart anything,” Ms. Aniston said. “But I think I like women. I support women.”

Glamour, for its part, has played up its earnest side lately. In its August issue, alongside articles on eyebrow grooming and affordable metallic shoes, there is an editorial on Hurricane Katrina victims and a feature on gender selection and elective abortion in India. Mariane Pearl, the widow of the murdered journalist Daniel Pearl, was recently recruited to write a monthly column.

All of which has helped the magazine establish credibility in predominantly liberal Hollywood. “It’s rare that magazines have a political leaning, but they are unabashedly pro-choice,” said Carol Leifer, the comedian and former “Seinfeld” writer who directed one of the Glamour films. “I think they have a really good feminist approach to women, which is rare in the world of beauty magazines.”

Glamour’s efforts are paying off: the magazine has a circulation of 2.4 million readers, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations. Ad pages in Glamour increased 5.1 percent in the first six months of 2006, compared with the same period in 2005.

•The three films are currently in production and will have their premiere in Los Angeles on Oct. 16, followed by a 10-city screening tour. They will also be available on Glamour’s Web site.

And they may have the effect of opening even more doors in Hollywood for women who are already well known. Bryce Dallas Howard, the star of M. Night Shyamalan’s “Lady in the Water” and a daughter of Ron Howard, said she had harbored writing ambitions but only recently summoned the courage to tell her agent.

“I was a secret closet writer who would never show anyone anything that I wrote,” she said. She is the co-writer and director of “Orchids” for Glamour.

Ms. Leifer said she had been trying to land directing jobs for years, but was constantly rejected for her lack of experience. “Almost every piece of feedback was, ‘What has she directed before?’ ” she said.

Francesca Silvestri, the producer at Moxie Pictures, said she hoped the films would change that. “I would love for all the ladies to go on and keep writing and directing,” she said.

BRAD/ANGIE NAMIBIAN DONATION-THE TRUTH -
The 315k donation is being handled/managed by the Michelle McLeon Children’s Trust in Namibia, so Namibians are making the decisions as to the funds distribution. The money was made available by Brad and Angie as they promised.
There was a problem in Namibia with distribution of the funds due to a disagreement between some local groups. Angelina worked with Namibian government officials after they were back in LA until the problems were worked out, and funds were released. NO funds were ever promised to the people who were interviewed. Of course they complained, there is great need in Namibia. BUT THE GROUPS PROMISED THE FUNDS GOT THEM.
Oh, and MAMA PITT cares for Angie as she is the mother of her LA grandchildren. Mama and Papa Pitt have visited Brad and his family a number of times in LA, and travelled all the way to Namibia to see newborn Shiloh. Don’t believe crap printed that Mama Pitt dislikes Angie and only likes JA. She likes them both, but accepts Angie as the love of Brad’s life and the one who has made him a dad.
That might be difficult for some of you to believe but it is totally unrealistic to even think that Mama Pitt does not care for Angie. Mama Pitt loves her son and wants him to be happy as all mothers wish for their children, and he is happy with Angie. She also wants JA to be happy, which is what all JA fans should want for her. Stop wasting you energy on the past-Brad and JA-as they were not happy together. If they had been happy together, they would still be together, that’s just logical, people happy and satisfied stay together no matter what. If VV makes JA happy, then it’s all good.

OK. You gave me a source. So are you saying that she was not quite truthful in her interviews and Shiloh will be an only? Most women have post partum depression and I would certainly not be surprised to hear that she had it. A newborn, a toddler, and an active 4 year old also require a lot of one’s time, leaving little time to be the woman you always have been. She seems also like someone who has been in control of her life and when you are pregnant you are not in control, the baby and all those hormones take over. You lose your independence. That had to be somewhat of a difficult adjustment.

What you say is totally true. Most women suffer from post-partum depression regardless of how strong they are. I´ve heard first handed from at least a dozen mothers that hated pregnancy (Mood swings, bloating, etc) and obviously PPD too. How are they now? Happy and enjoying their children! :)
