Here are the latest snapshots of Angelina Jolie as Mariane Pearl on the set of A Mighty Heart in Pune, India. Angie seems to be very happy, waving and smiling for the cameras. Her security officer, Mickey Brett, looks pretty in pink!!! (; Thanks, Ell & Estelle!!

Jennifer Aniston: everyone to the rescue
First Oprah, now her friends, one by one, they are rallying in support.
In response to Us Weekly’s cover story that Vince Vaughn dumped her ass, David Arquette, married to Jen’s BFF Courteney Cox, answered questions about the status of her relationship with Vince on a radio show, keeping the story alive much longer than it ever needed to be.
What said the Bard again???
The lady doth protest too much?
Here’s what David told the Star 98.7 morning crew:
‘That is complete horse doo-doo. It’s so funny, they say stupid things like, ‘Why’d Vince leave?’ or something like that. And the answer is because he’s doing a movie! I mean, come on people!’
Woah. Hold up.
Does this qualify as official confirmation that they are/were together? And does this mean in 6 months we’ll finally get confirmation that they’re not?
Here’s Jen in Chicago the other day, beautiful hair, beautiful eyes. VERY beautiful eyes.
Quick question - did you know The Break Up comes out on DVD on Tuesday?
Like, Oh My Goddess…isn’t that the most amazing coincidence ever???

Thank you SO much for these photos–also I haven’t seen many of
these. I really like the ones Jolie is wearing almost no makeup and
those are the most adoringly beautiful. Imagine Brad gets to see
that the first thing when he wakes up LOL The ones with full
attire and makeup are so awesome, g! Notice that aland
inspiring! Notice most all pictres she has her hair pulled away
from her face completely showing everything–this is the epitome
of MOVIE actress. Surely someone who hinds behind a hair
curtain can’t even hold a candle next to Jolie.

Found this on JJB about yesterday’s incident.
Sat Oct 14, 2006 11:14 AM BST
NEW DELHI (Reuters) - An Indian security guard and a photographer were involved in a scuffle at the shooting of “A Mighty Heart” starring Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, an official said on Saturday, the latest incident involving the film.
Local media said the guard threatened the photojournalist in the latest of several incidents over the security detail of Jolie and companion-actor Brad Pitt who are in the western city of Pune where the film is being shot.
“There was an incident in which the security guard and the photographer beat each other up,” Arti Surendranath of Kailash Picture Company, which is managing the shooting schedule in India, told Reuters.
“It was a mutual problem which they have sorted out,” she said, denying that a revolver was pulled out by the guard belonging to a private firm.
Police said no charges had been filed in the incident.
“A Mighty Heart” is based on the life of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl who was kidnapped in the Pakistani port city of Karachi and killed in 2002 while researching a report on the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.
The normally placid city of Pune has been caught up in excitement since the arrival of the celebrity couple this month and dozens of members of the paparazzi and other media have flocked to city to click the reclusive Hollywood couple.
Indian police stepped up security after a car in Oscar-winning Jolie’s convoy on Wednesday hit a motorcyclist who was slightly hurt.
This followed an incident this month where a foreign security guard of the couple was photographed holding a cameraman by the scruff of the neck.
The film is being produced by Pitt.
And Jolie’s manager, Geyer Kosinski, called the AP’s headquarters in New York to complain about the story written about the incident, saying Jolie didn’t own or control the set. He would not comment on the incident.

Ate Cha….Magandang Umaga sa iyo…October 18th will be the big day! Thanks for being so understanding. It is cold up here. As a matter of fact just the south of us & Buffalo, New York got hit by a freak snow storm & dumped a lot of snow but here at the Toronto area…WE ARE SPARED. Thanks God. I am not ready for a snow yet but darn it was cold up here lately. I am used to cold weather now (Remember we came from a tropical country) but it drags for too long. I cannot stand humidity, it makes me uncomfortable & lazy it really affects my working habits.
We just had our Thansgiving celebration here last weekend & we did not have a turket feast this year. My sister is so busy with her work & my Mom is sick so we decided to order food instead. Maybe we’ll do turkey this Christmas.
About my birthday my family will prepare “pansit palabok”. We believe having noodles on your birthday will give you long life. But my friends will treat me for a Greek Dinner at Toronto’s Greek Village. You know here in Toronto, each got their own ethnic neighborhood where you can shop & dine & party. But the difference here & in the USA our ethnic enclave are welcoming & you can minggle with ease & acceptance. My friends & I try different restaurants on all our birthdays. Last year on my birthday we went to a Brazilian Restaurant on my big day & it was good especially their churasscos.
Gotta go gotta run now. I will be in touch later. O sige na Ate Cha aalis na muna ako.

236 | Hey Alex , please check you emai. Let me know if you receive “it”. Thank you.
MrsR, I agree with all that you’ve posted so far. Especially this bit
about “the only people there’s no room for on a fan site are haters.
As long as the rest of us respect each other and BAMZS, there’s
no reason we can’t have several conversations going on at once.
Ques to MrsR: What revelation about JA walking on the beach with
her dogs?? Needless to say, I didn’t get one.
Stardust, thanks for your post about Indians and the drama. I
didn’t want to be the first to say it (coz its OK to say things about
your own kind but it would be disrespectful of me in this forum to
say some negative things about Indians here.) But now that
you’ve raised it, I agree with your observations.
I enjoyed working in India but Indians are by and large the most
ARGUMENTATIVE people I’ve had to deal with - and that includes
Americans. Having said that, I rarely felt any malice from the
arguers. They just like to have a good discussion about what ever
it was. Someone always wanted to play devils advocate. I think
they just enjoyed playing with the ideas.
Another thing I noticed was - the more junior the officer, the
more officious that officer. so the scuffle with between the Indian
photo journalist and the Indian security officers don’t surprise
me.
finally, one last point - when clearing immigration to LEAVE the
country, I counted that the immigration officer had 4 separate
stamps, and had to use them about 7 or 8 times on my passport,
my exit card, what ever else I had to fill in. I can laugh about that
now but at the time, waiting to get in or out could be
interminable.
237 | Missouri Fan | - Morning MF, I did, but I can’t open it, I sent you back an e-mail, thanks
235 | ariel: Say Hello to your mom & sister for me. Hope your mom will get better soon, maybe it’s the change of weather. I love the “pansit palabok” I wish I could be there on your birthday celebration. Aha, your friends knows you like GREEK foods. Little Bradley’s mom is Greek by father side and my son is bringing this Greek food seasonings. See you later.

Angelina Jolie plays Mariane Pearl, angering black campaign groups.
by Heather Williams on the October 11th, 2006
I was surprised by the number of posts commenting on the anger from black activists about Jolie being cast as Daniel Pearl’s wife in ‘A Mighty Heart‘, currently in production.
Interestingly, this frustration comes at the same time that Halle Berry was cast as white teacher Tierney Cahill in another upcoming movie.
I did a search and haven’t come across any complaints at all about the casting of Berry in this role. How is it a positive thing that bi-racial Berry can play a white woman in a film, but a negative that Jolie is portraying a woman of colour? (Pearl is dutch/afro-cuban it has been reported)
Adding to the story, Mariane herself was quoted saying “I’m delighted Angelina Jolie will be playing my role. I deeply admire her work.“
It’s frustrating that in 2006 we still can’t get past the ‘race issue’, even in what is supposed to be ‘just entertainment’. Why can’t it be that any actor can play any role that the director thinks they are suited to? Producers for Halle’s new movie were quoted saying they “felt it was more important to find the right actress to play the role rather than the right white actress.” Sounds good to me.
I am sure Ms. Berry will do a fantastic job as Cahill, and I will not be deterred in the least from going to see the movie due to her ethnicity. Just as I wouldn’t have, and still don’t, care if Angelina plays Pearl.

As an actor who is part of several minority groups, I resent that this casting choice is even an issue. It seems that making it such only causes further separation and can be damaging to race relations.
It’s a beautiful day when someone can get a role because of talent and not typecasting or looks alone, when race doesn’t have to be a factor. I’m so tired of people from different countries or nationalities getting pissed because someone of another ethnicity takes on their role. Like J. Lo playing Selena (a puerto rican playing a mexican), or the controversy over Memoirs of a Geisha (casting Zhang Ziyi, a chinese girl, as a Japanese geisha). Or the straights who play gay and vice versa.
Seriously. It’s called ACTING. The whole point is that you AREN’T supposed to be yourself. You are playing a role, it’s your job as an actor to transform and more importantly to tell a story that can reach people. This seems to be getting lost in translation.
I’m not saying racism isn’t a problem in this country or in the world, heaven knows it is and it’s always bothered the life out of me. But a lot of this hatred and racist thinking is perpetuated and furthered by people who want to make it an issue in certain arenas where it’s possible it isn’t factoring in. Angelina Jolie is obviously not racist. She has a multi-ethnic family. Her message has seemed to be one of racial unity. This isn’t 1920. She isn’t trying to make a mockery out of anyone and seems committed to this undertaking, and the real life Mrs. Pearl has no problem with it so I don’t see why anyone else should. Either way, this is a serious story and it deserves to be told, regardless of who is casted and I’m glad the movie is being made.
I’ve just watch Taking Lives from our TV. Angelina was really gorgeous. esp. those green cat eyes. I like her eye more than her lips. there was several close-up shot of Angie in this film, she’s totally mesmerizing. no way X can compare with.
Hey, fellow pinay, let us not bring our being a “badoy” in US. Leave them at home, okay? It is embarrassing to your fellow pinay!
Brad and Angie are doing interesting, worthwhile movies, and
taking care of their family. They have raised consciousness on
certain humanitarian issues (I’m not saying they are the only
celebrities to do this) and are trying to make the world a beter
place.
X gets a boob job, goes on Oprah, walks Norman, has no
movies in the pipeline and is so desperate for publicity she still
tries to be coy about is she/isn’t she with VV, not realizing that no
one cares anyway.
Nearly two years later she’s still milking the breakup with Brad.
Pathetic.
hey alexanderina…
im good thanks you?
sorry it took so long had something come up at work, its sorted now tho!
so how are things here?
anything worth knowing?
good to here from you anyway.

E! Is doing a profile on Jennifer Aniston: America’s Sweetheart. Do miss this gem!
Once again, I am throwing myself what I like to call a little pity party. A well-meaning Friend has told me that at the Milan shows, Paris Hilton was asked to nominate a classic wardrobe piece that you can just sling on season after season and somehow always look relevant. Apparently she sniggered “A Team Aniston T-shirt?”
Yes, my relationship with the actor Vince Vaughn is over, just as my relationship with the actor Brad Pitt was over before it, and the sloganned cotton jersey garments popularised by LA’s small community of ironists last year can once again be unfurled from the tissue paper and worn to meetings in independent coffee shops.

On the previous, Angelina-based template, it will be minutes before Vince adopts a North Korean baby with Scarlett Johansson. For my part, I am currently in the process of acquiring Owen Wilson’s contact details, and planning my obligatory appearance on my close friend Oprah Winfrey’s show, where I will make some bravely wry quip that at least my publicist no longer has to deny the engagement rumours every week. While I’m there, I guess I’ll force myself to promote the DVD release of the movie that brought Vince and I together - called The Break-Up, which is ironic in the true showbiz sense of the word.
Namely, it’s a slight coincidence

Four minutes into the show and the funniest line is: Jennifer Aniston had a very international upbringing because she spent 1 year in Greece.
She looked so Greek in her early days. Brown hair and Brown eyes. Jennifer of the present is not the same person. Her dad said she is always worried about gaining a half inch on her waist, that had to be very hard, poor Jen.

Really, did you see that she had brown eyes? Ok, I’m going to spread the good word on every forums and boards about fake Aniston.
I haven’t read all the posts today because i just woke up and the thread is on PG 10 almost 11. I was on YouTube yesterday looking a videos of Angelina’s interviews. She speaks so softly, shy. If some of her detracters would bother to see this side of her, a humble human being, I don’t hink they could see her as the witchy seductress she’s been made out to be. She’s lovely inside and out. Without even comparing her to any other woman, she is radiant and genuine.
It is so easy to see her through Brad’s eyes, and lay to rest the notion that she stole him away with her sex appeal.
