Here are the latest snapshots of Angelina Jolie as Mariane Pearl on the set of A Mighty Heart in Pune, India. Angie seems to be very happy, waving and smiling for the cameras. Her security officer, Mickey Brett, looks pretty in pink!!! (; Thanks, Ell & Estelle!!

I didn’t know that E!online also quoted the Radar nonsense about the not-done-donation to Namibia.

I emailed them, quoting Lainey, keeping it brief and sweet.
If anyone wants to email E! as well, click “help” at the bottom, and when you see the pop-up titled “E! Online Customer Service Help Desk”, choose “report a problem” , and freom there, choose “Editorial mistakes”.
You do NOT need to be registerd to do this!!!!!

They may simply got it wrong. When BAMZS arrived in Pune there was a report that said the same thing. It was also reported that Brad was holding Shiloh and that Angie was holding Maddox. No word of Zahara. And after that we saw Brad holding Zahara in his arms.Nothing important.

and, in his Vanity Fair interview, in the Dec 2001 issue, Brad stated:
” I find myself looking forward to a family.”
this is the same interview where he talked about having had 1 1/2 yrs. of therapy because he “crashed and burned”.
The whole interview is here :

I had no idea that he was in therapy DURING his marriage to Maniston. WOW. How’d we find this out again? All of a sudden quotes make sense that perhaps didn’t previously (when everyone thought they were fine) — quotes like, “we’ve been through some rough and nasty patches.” When I heard that one, I thought - hmmmm….they did a good job of not letting that leak to the press, and keeping up appearances. I think that’s what’s enabled Maniston to fool the public the way she is still doing - no one suspected the problems or what they were dealing with. Then the other quote was in her back-stabbing Vanity Fair interview (I think) where she talks about how they “both healed together.”
I always suspected she was mainly talking about Brad’s “healing” from the Paltrow breakup/breakdown…and her “healing” perhaps was in getting assurances FROM HIM that he did not marry her on the ‘rebound’ and assuring her that she WAS worthy through all her “low self esteem issues, crap and dysfunction” that she talks about….I truly think think this was it.
I think it’s been reported that supposedly when she filed divorce papers she alledges fraud, and makes statements about ‘not being honest with each other before they got married’ - mentions ‘deceit’ even — anyone have that legalese that’s been reported as coming from her? I thinks he was essentially calling him out then. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day (Pity Party Round 3), included her actually telling the world that, ‘Yes, Brad had married me still on the rebound from another woman, and I never could get over it - and when HE finally did, of course our marriage was done.”
Seriously, she’ll probably do it one day.

I’ve searched everywhere or this, with no luck. Also, California is a no-fault divorce state, meaning “fault” does not have to be stated or proven. This makes me think that reports of X saying they entered the marriage with dishonest reason or some such stuff, are probably not true.
I’m positive we’ll NEVER hear from Brad anything about it, and the only one publicity-hungry enough to do it is X (esp. if it turns out she’s shunned in Hollywood for back-stabbing Brad, feeling the sting, and doing the ususal, defending herself in public).
I think Brad loved X, He is no dumb. You fell in love and you fell out of love. Its so simple.
Anna:
I just sent a email
I’ve just found a delicious Joe Queenan’s feature. It’s not very recent and you probably have read it before, bur here it goes… (love the title)
Charmless friend
Vince Vaughn can’t help Jennifer Aniston break up her run of so-so romcoms, Cars provides perfect drive-through fun, and Little Manhattan’s a whiny place to visit

The Guardian
For the past few years, a heroic attempt has been made to turn Jennifer Aniston into a movie star. Alas, like the search for an oral cancer cure or a shortcut from Lisbon to Cathay, this is a project that is probably not going to bear fruit. Perfectly adequate in The Good Girl, wholesome in Office Space, likable enough in Friends With Money, but generally somewhat vacant in most of her other films, including a couple of real clinkers (Derailed, Along Came Polly, Rumour Has It), Aniston, with her trademark hair, trademark chin and trademark TV mannerisms, simply does not light up the big screen. Julia Roberts lights up the screen. So do Keira Knightley and Cameron Diaz and Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway. Angelina Jolie, who recently annexed Aniston’s husband, most assuredly lights up the screen. Jennifer Aniston, it is often said, looks like the girl next door. But no one goes to the movies to see the girl next door, especially if they have to pay for the pleasure. They can go next door and see her for nothing.

Can’t wait for Babel, Cate is a class act.

heroic attempt

“Heroic”it has been indeed. It’s like trying to breathe life into a stone, like Promitheus. But Promitheus was mythology….not real life.
Gussie #861 Great article… VERY TRUE….NOW THE GIRL-NEXT-DOOR IS A HOAX.

Marriage fraud. That is true, I read it awhile ago but have not been able to find it.
This is too much, CNN/Larry King is repeating the DT interview again tonight.

I’ll have to disagree about the the girl next door thing. I thought Judy Garland had a girl next door quality and she, most definitely, lit up the screen with her presence, talent and vulnerability. Meg Ryan, Diane Keaton, and dozens of others have an everyday, down to earth quality, but they also have something extra; X doesn’t have it, despite the press trying to paint her as the poster child of the wronged/abandoned wife.
Per the press, she lived through every woman’s nightmare. Unfortunately, she doesn’t come across as wronged or wounded. Women like Terry McMillan and Terry Irwin, who suffered betrayal and heartbreak, are better examples of angst and suffering and they managed not to be coddled at every turn.
A news BAMZS thread would be nice ) .
GOOD EVENING EVERYBODY !

Aniston filed for divorce on March 25, 2005. According to Wikipedia, she claimed, “their personal reasons for entering the marriage were not completely honest and they could not sustain the deceit, both in their private and public lives.”
This was taken from fox news - who reports it was taken from wikipedia…
