OlderBrad & Angelina: ‘Go Goa!’
Looks like the Jolie-Pitt family had a busy weekend!! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took a break this weekend and flew off to Goa, India with their three kids (Maddox and Zahara pictured above). One airport official spilled the beans: “Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, their three kids and three other people have travelled in our business jet on Friday. Our plane will definitely fly to Goa to bring them back.”
Here are some other details via MiD-Day: Gopal Kundu, duty officer from the Pune airport, confirmed that a Poonawala group owned business jet plane carrying Brangelina and kids took off from the Pune airport on Friday at 9 pm and came back at 11 pm. The plane landed at the Dabolim airport, the only airport in Goa, at 10 pm and took off immediately after the passengers alighted. Sources say that the couple might be partying at the Goa Marriott Resort.
An official in the corporate relations and aviation department of the Poonawala Group owned Serum Institute of India confirmed the Hollywood couple’s Goa trip. The Poonawala group even owns the 8-seater, PW-500 series engine-powered, Citation Excel business jet, with the call sign, VTCSP. Many thanks to Biana and BradFan!!

The fact that she can tune out all the tabs/entertainment shows/etc that all talk about her/dis her is what makes me admire Angie so much. She just focuses on the important issues at hand (her Brad, her children, her humanitarian issues, her movies) and let others fall by the wayside. I wish I was like that! She is the diametric opposite of The Chin, who cried when Kimberly Stuart called her homely (clap clap for KS), who always kept abreast of everything in the entertainment world, esp B/A via the tabs, who actually posted on her own MySpace — no wonder she didn’t have time to have Brad’s kids, she was so busy with the inconsequential stuff of life!
That is so true , Angie is one of the strongest women around, to take all the bullshit thrown her way and rise above, I think she is an amazing women and I wish her and Brad the very best.

DT is a jerk, I hope he doesn’t react that what that old fool is looking, that and press. The only time I remember Brad really pissed off was in Berlin, when the razzis follow him to a restaurant he was at with Mad. He was very upset that day. The video is somewhere in youtube.

Guess Angie really did reject him and he’s bitter. He’s probably wanted to avenge his ‘humiliation’ for a while, and now that Angie is in the limelight he does that with the added bonus of media coverage because he’s talking about 1/2 of Hollywood’s power couple. What an jerk.

With all the media coverage of Ron Howard’s post Watergate Richard Nixon movie, Frost/Nixon, we almost forgot that Running With Scissors director Ryan Murphy also has a Nixon film in the works called Dirty Tricks.
“Mine shoots next fall. I’m writing it, I’ve cast it. I have my whole cast,” Murphy told /Film. “It’s going to be Meryl (Streep), Annette Bening, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Pitt and Jill Clayburgh, and Sharon Stone and Jim Broadbent.”
“It’s about the women in Watergate, it’s very different that Ron Howard’s movie. I love Ron Howard’s movie, that was about what a nightmare Nixon was to get the rights for the Frost interview, and the negotiations back and fourth for that. Mine is really much more about one of the first Cassandra’s of our century.”
Ryan continued, “But that movie is really about a woman who said our government is corrupt, and why is no one believing me. Why is no one seeing that this Tricky Dicky Nixon is insane. And everyone’s like you’re crazy. And I also think it’s the perfect time to make this movie. We’ll shoot it in fall (2007) and put it out next fall (2008).”

Wait?! I couple days ago I read an article were Ryan Murphy said that he wanted to play the pàrt of Paltrow husband. Wow it’s going to be interesting. I’ll try to find the article.
DT will probably keeping on talking until Brad Pitt responds. I say Brad Pitt because if something comes from that camp it will have to be from Brad and not Angie. Brad has to be seen as the one defending his women. I don’t know what the best coarse is at this time. The first time I would say ignore it but he can’t just keep saying things without some sort of response. IA. with most on here this would be Jon Voights chance to stand up and defend his daughter, he is missing an opportunity. Especially since DT acts as if he is speaking on behalf of Jon Voight in some way.
I wish someone would ask George Clooney about DT’s comments. What is sad about this entire thing is DT has a wife and daughters how would he like it if someone said the things he is saying about Angie about his wife or one of his daughters.
I mean that he wanted Brad to play Paltrow’s husband.

Very much agree. I love that she (AJ) doesn’t publicly acknowledge her detractors and I’m sure this is what makes them even more relentless in attempting to rile her or Brad. It’s really great that they don’t place much if any importance on the negative words aimed their way. If one thinks on it, the opinion of people like DT really do the opposite of what is attempted. It raises the stature of and adds respect to those whom the arrows are being fired at, while at the same time, lowering those qualities in the ones slinging the arrows.
Seriously … Brad needs to give these two a lesson in Press Planning because what was a molehill has turned into a mountain and getting the lawyers involved isn’t exactly helping.
This just in - Vince is suing the New York Post, The Sun, and The Daily Mirror for suggesting that he was passionately kissing another woman in London last week after printing ‘misleading’ photos of him with a blonde at an industry party.
As you know, Vince and Jen are insisting they are still together, despite the brilliant Janice Min’s assertion to the contrary.
Oh and by the way…just in case, on the off chance you missed it…The Break Up comes out on DVD tomorrow.
And of course, Jen just happens to be on Oprah today - not talking about the movie but about some short film she directed for Glamour Magazine.
