They really need a break from the bashing, the press, the papparazzi, and the famous idiots who bring up their names for free publicity.

What have these two done to anger so many? They are trying to work and live their lives with their kids yet I have never seen a couple with kids get baraged with hatred so much. Please people let it go and let them enjoy their time together as a family. No matter how much each side analyzes things, the fact is that this is the present and we need to stop looking at the past.

Every detail of their lives gets scruitenized by everyone, as if we all are some kind of experts but we’re not (myself included).

If you don’t like them, move on. If you like them, please continue to post but I Beg of you, stop looking at the past and live in the present and look forward towards the future. Hopefully we can keep this thread a positive and fun one. It’s been so long since people commented for fun. All everyone does is pick apart each other’s comments. Wave the white flag and call this so called war that the media fueled over. Please. Thank you.

I love seeing their pics , i just adore how concerned Brad looks when he is holding Z. There is something so heartening and real about it.
I also love that they are in India (my home country), though i’m not there now. Wish this family the best.

Wow! I don’t come here to post often, but I admit that it is so amusing! I am honestly wondering if people really think through the things they say. How can you not read your comments and agree that you look like an idiot.

To the people who ask dumb questions (or make dumb statements) about who carries which child, or even why are they always carrying Maddox etc… Grab a brain. It doesn’t take rocket science to figure this out. Let me see if I can spell it out. Here is your scenario…

Normal person (me) walking through crowded airport with my two kids and the hubby. Kids are walking and we are right next to them. Then things get harried. Lots more people and we are rushing. What to do? Should we let the kids walk and be in harms way (as we miss our flight) or do we pick them up and husstle a bit more? Yeah, I think you would figure out the correct answer.

same situation with celebrity couple, but now you add mass hysteria and people flashing cameras in your face. Half the time you can’t even walk two steps without someone bumping into you. Most of the time we see Maddox walking because they are not swamped with people. However, as soon as things get crazy Maddox is swooped up. Damn straight! What mother or father wouldn’t? And now we have Z. We can see from almost every single trip they take that she is way more afraid of the pappies and the craziness. I have a son and a daughter and I can tell you that when my daughter was Z’s age she would definitely want daddy in that situation. To be surrounded by big strong arms, arms that you have trusted your whole life. I can assure you, AJ hold Z all the time. But, when you are in this situation, the little one goes with dad.

And all of the Shiloh crap. I know a small bit of how it works. While all of the attention is on Brad and Angie Shiloh is in a carrier or strolller going a completely different way. Or going the same way, but way behind, with at least three bodyguards and the nanny. Now, this nanny doesn’t get photographed much. Why? Because once she becomes recognizable, she loses a bit of her value. They have had the same nanny for quite a while (right after Z came along) and I think that there were only a few photos taken of her. This woman can safely take Shiloh anywhere without detection. As Shiloh gets older this will change because she will want mom and dad and be more recognized

But for the time being, this works well. They have three kids. Things are not going to be easy. Especially travel. We have seen both parents carrying all three kids at different times. Shiloh will be out more when it is safe. Plain and simple!

~Now that all of the ladies are sitting there on the stage after debuting their movie. She is sitting there looking and acting INSECURE more than ever, Now I’m glad I watched. Oprah has abandoned her. Her movie does not stack up against the other womens work.

Yes…think people think is right…and then some. This is India they are in right now…even more reason to hold tight to their children. (I for one am glad they did not end up filming in Pakistan)Angie is there filming about Daniel Pearl’s kidnapping. You’ve got to known that there are extremists out there that would love to get their hands on some of America’s most beloved people. Even having to reach down to grab your child during a moment of distaction could cost precious seconds. Carrying those children is the only smart thing to do. I don’t think it’s safe for them to be there and I will breathe a lot easier when they are safe at home. Yes we have crazy papps following them everywhere but I think they are safer here than anywhere in the world.

I hope that Oprah is naive about the way Jennifer Aniston works her PR parade, because if she isn’t then she has stooped to pandering for ratings. Does it have to be spelled out why Jen chose that part of the movie to run. “Stay in the room” re: marriages, of course she would, another underhanded dig at Brad-still after all this time. Maureen the woman who wrote the story said the most touching part was later on when the family was all in the room and it was not just about the couple anymore. But of course Maureen used that inspiration to get past her divorce. Jennifer used the 10 minute film, and her friendship with Oprah to play the injured party once again. Jen is a fraud, and I hope Oprah’s naive, and not just an accomplice.

Okay I am a lurker by habit but I had to comment on the holding baby thing. I also was a harsh critic about Angie carring Maddox around…Until I had to spend the day with my 4 year old niece and run errands with her. Walking with her when I was trying to get somewhere was a pain. The solution carry her. Turns out not so easy to walk around with a toddler or small child. Who knew:)

Thanks Just Jared for the two new threads. It is good to see that BP and AJ are such protective and caring parents. It is sad how people come on this thread and throw hate at innocent children. I can only imagine what is going on in their lives. I am also glad that BP and AJ do not pay attention to tabloid lies. If anyone can find one article, one interview where Brad, in any way, says something negative about Jen, please show me. He is class, not Jen. She is known for her “public jabs”. How does someone forget to thank their husband? Want the real story? She was pissed because he wasn’t very supportive of her going back for another year. He thought they were starting their family. So, to prove a point, she doesn’t thank him. “Oops!” I forgot to thank him. What I mean is “Thanks a lot Brad for not supporting this choice I am making”. But I will keep this girl next door thing going and act like it was a mistake. She has done that too many times to be accidental.

Vanity Fair was no different. She knew exactly what she was doing and exactly what her implications would produce. And yet, through even that, he remains quiet and doesn’t retaliate.

Just like with Gwenyth. She lets on to the whole world that Brad cheated and that is why she left. He never said a word or a bad thing about her. Years later, she breaks down and talks about the regrets and how she was the reason things ended. She had an affair with some production person or something. He could have rebuffed all of the lies, but he took the high road and was kind in his talks of her.

To my knowledge, adoption is quite a looong process. google it & see what u can find. it has been said that he has filed for adoption papers, but obviously it takes some time (dunno when).
Re: Z walking. the pix they took in the desert looked like she had just started learning how to walk (this was back in Apr/May as far as i rememba). when they got back to the US, there were some pix w/ Z walkin in their backyard & Mad on a little bike, and Holly was in the pix too. at any other times, i doubt they’d let her walk due to paps etc. this means, we haven’t seen much of Z in the papers, which is VERY good!! they should try keepin their kids from the media for as often as possible..

You are concerned with private matters that do not affect your life one bit. I’m returning to my former status as a lurker as it seems the engagement I sought isn’t forthcoming and as someone who desired a tad more interaction and discourse but getting the feeling that isn’t in the cards after two days, I’ve decided to retreat to my prior status. It was very nice venting, learning, sharing and I do appreciate a forum available where likeminded individuals can celebrate probably what is one of the sweetest love stories since Charles Boyer & Pat Paterson, Johnny & June or Paul & Joanna.

Plus Z appears upset by paps and Brad is an extremely protective parent. Angie grabbed Mad to get him quickly to the waiting plane. Mad is walking when they deplane in Pune. This is the first time in months that pixs have shown Mad being held by Angie. Shiloh is only 4 months old, Mad was 7 months and Z was 6 months when they were adopted. Hopefully Shiloh can be protected from the media as long as possible, and their nanny can remain unknown for a while longer. No one should doubt that all three children are dearly loved.

Shiloh’s really little and people are really weird about her. I wouldn’t expose her either and the other kids are older and it would be harder to hide them. I’m sure to they want to give them as normal of an existence as possible. When Shiloh gets older I’m sure you’ll see more of her.

Shiloh is with her family. Just because you don’t see her doesn’t mean she isn’t there. Enough with that ish. She’s only 5 months old and she’s already been to another country , 2 if you include the US as she was born in Namibia. The month will be over before you know it and soon they will be back in the states with Brad starting Benjamin Button.

Today is really good news for BAMZS fans. X has put herselp in a dorner by basically saying she & VV are not broken up. And it’s all over the tabs about how VV “did not cheat” (sly mofo) on Jen and will be suing 3 tabs. He says they are together. I’m glad for them and now the fanistons can concentrate on that relationship as any connection to Brad has been unmistakenly severed by VV & Jen’s statement. End of story.

George Clooney responded to the “chaos” in India at the tribute to him. he said that may thimes “their people” hire a security team expecting they do their job but when they get out of line it reflects on the celebrity even if the celeb had nothing to do with the incident. Honest to God’s truth — this is where my dislike of her started.

I’ve always been an awards show FREAK. I watch them all (except for the People’s Choice Awards and the other cheesy fake ones, where people already know in advance who’s one..like blockbuster awards etc.)

So anyway — back in 2003, I was WATCHING THIS EXACT SHOW

*( –some background: I was not a die hard Brad Pitt fan or ‘fangirl’ back in the day. But I was an admirer of him as an actor. I have always loved his movies and thought he was underrated as an actor ( I loved Seven, Thelma & Louise, and Interview, also I thought he was just to die for in Legends, and a freakin’ menace in Snatch and Fight Club, LOL). I viewed Brad much in the same way as I viewed Johnny Depp. I respected their choices, and always made it a point to see their films because I knew I would not be disappointed. I was content in NOT being a ‘fangirl’ of his, because frankly, I felt he deserved more and better than some ‘tiger beat’ fascination, ya know?? I think the way I viewed him back then is how most actors WANT people to view them - ‘for their WORK,’ anything less would have been disrespectful. So I saw him as a serious actor. But more than that, he seemed humble and circumspect, and an ordinary guy offscreen. Whatever charisma transmitted in film, he was just not putting out in his private life with Jen Aniston. Hence, my disinterest. Sure he always looked hot on those red carpets, which is where I saw him 90% of the time offscreen - but he came across as what I took him to be a supportive husband and decent man).

So, let me clear - because I did view him that way - I was not crawling all over the net, excitedly looking anything and everything about him.

My thoughts on Jennifer Aniston. Meh. That was it, and that was all. I’ve seen maybe 3 episodes of friends. I didn’t think she was all that, but neither did I dislike her. As a matter of fact, because I thought Gwyneth Paltrow a fool and obnoxious, and believed all the rumors that Miramax (harvey Weinstein) bought her Oscar - and also heard that she kind of trashed Brad Pitt in the press (and THIS, after seeing how in love he was with her when he acepted HIS Golden Glove a few years previous and thanked ‘his angel’), I was kind of rooting for Brad to get back at GP by being happy with whomever…so indirectly I was rooting for Aniston, believe it or not.

Until that night that I saw her accept that award and not only not thank him, sure - that was bad…but the way she also tried to repair the damage AFTER THE FACT…’Brad Pitt’ thank you for holding me together man?’ WTF?! Who is he? Your husband, or your huntin’ buddy?? Is he the love of your life, or a guy you get high with on the weekends??

I saw his face when they flashed him to him in the audience after she was through….he’s an actor, he played it off…but I’m sure, everyone there…his peers in the film community who had seen him segregate himself to hang in the back with his wife’s TV crowd and support her for years…and her ‘Friends’ seated at the table with him - HAD to be feeling for him. I had remembered where he was just 4 years before, if that — on stage and worshipping and adoring someone he loved - telling the world just what this other person meant to him…and I knew in that minute, that he and Jennifer Aniston would soon be toast.

I also knew, that was official confirmation, that Jen Aniston was THE the dumbest b* on the face of the planet, to diss Brad Pitt like that - a man who is so caring and loving — who has supported her as she claimed (”through all my crap an dysfunction,” she said) - and treat him like an afterthough…or a “buddy,” — like a fookin’ bowling partner!! I started to dislike her big time in that moment, and was hoping for them to crash and burn and soon - so that Brad could find someone that would love and adore him. I knew instinctively that this man deserved better, even if he didn’t know it yet.

Sure enough, less than 2 years later you could stick a fork in them. MUCH less, if you count that shortly after these Golden Globes, he was GONE for 6 months shooting Troy in Morocco, then another 3 months, and also she then would be gone for several months as well in the UK shooting ‘Derailed.’ All told you could say that equated to less than a year later.

Personally, I think Aniston is one vengeful b*. I think she was upset that he was leaving to shoot Troy for several months (he was growing his hair out you can see at that time - rumor also has it that he had sprinkled her dress w/ dandruff flakes before she went up, and coupled with everything unspoken she just decided to be nasty, and not nice, and not even mention him - then when she did, it was equally cold).

I also think she was worried that this was an epic romance and action film (Achilles cavorting with the Vestal Virgin character played by Rose Byrnes probably did NOT sit well) and that he might be tempted.

Anyway — she showed her dissatisfaction with his choices by acting out on stage, and trying to humiliate him deliberately. For those of you who were following along..she tried to rectify her mistake, knowing she had fooked up - by guesting on SNL a few weeks later and wearing an ‘I love Brad Pitt’ T-shirt. Too little too late silly b*.

I do not agree with all the anger I have read on this board today but I must say that I too believe that you have “jumped the shark” so to speak. Since today’s topic has turned into a discussion, catfight really, about Pitt and Aniston’s marriage, I feel compelled to share my opinion. No one, except for Brad, Jen, and God knows what went on in their marriage. That said, I do believe that you have blatantly taken sides and are contributing to the anger exhibited here today. Jennifer Aniston is 38 year old woman, who like many women today, has gone through a divorce. She did NOT lose a child, she is NOT penniless, and God willing she has her health. There is no need to coddle her and there is no need to insult the intelligence of your viewers.

Today’s show, at least the segment that included Aniston, had little to do with the 10 minute film. It had little to do with celebrating women. In my opinion, it had everything to do with keeping Jennifer Aniston in the limelight and promoting The Break Up dvd which conveniently comes out tomorrow.

Jennifer Aniston may be a nice woman but she is not someone whom I admire. I’ve paid attention to her words and her actions (non tabloid related) in the last 2 years since her split with Brad Pitt and I don’t like what I’ve seen. She speaks out of both sides of her mouth to the point where I wonder if even she believes what she is saying. She both directly and indirectly refers to her ex husband in some sad and passive aggressive bid to court public sympathy. I just wish you would stop enabling her.

I’ve never even visited this site before, maybe once, (I watch the show all the time) but Jen Anis today almost forced me over here to see what’s going on with Oprah. Like if I could knock on her door and ask her what’s up?
I don’t understand the friendship or support that she shows for this chick. It just seems odd mainly because she is the opposite of inspirational. I saw only the last half hour of the Jennifer Anniston show today, and I was initially bored to see her. She bores me. She comes across as about two inches deep, shallow, as if she’s always holding back, always censoring herself. She comes across really as if she’s kind of scared. And she’s not very articulate. I don’t get the America’s Sweetheart thing. Why? What’s the qualification for that? Because she was on Friends? Not to me. I think she is too insecure, or appears to be too insecure to be a good role model for girls.

“Funny and loyal”? is that her personality or the personality of her character on Friends?

It was almost painful to watch Oprah try to talk to those women, it’s like she was pulling teeth, they wouldn’t or couldn’t fill the time with anything profound or even insightful. They didn’t have any meaningful observations about life to offer, at least in the last half hour. I’ll watch it tonight again, but I don’t think I missed anything.

One woman said that her best friend was her dog. And then Oprah says, Yeah for all the women who love dogs. I mean, life is about reaching out to other human beings, such as men. A dog is a really second rate alternative. How sad. The lonely single woman with her dog. And I could tell Oprah was bored. She looked bored. So was I.

Hay Ya’ll!! Well, I’m coming off an insane week, and no time to post or read around here extensively…I’m sure I missed some good chihuahua fights.

Clini, I echo your same sentiment in post # 361. I wasn’t “mad about Brad” years ago, either, but I did like his work, and I am not a huge watcher of Friends. I have seen maybe 10-15 of the early episodes, but I never went out of my way to watch it.

I did catch Jen’s “thanks for holding me together, man” comment, and I just looked at her and thought, WTH? Jen girl, you ain’t even right for that, and you know it. It was then that I knew their marriage wasn’t all rainbows and cotton candy shootin’ out their azzes. Thanks for the Oprah Board post, love those! I think O needs to see that the public is soooo over Jen. She needs to go work on herself and her own issues and then maybe she can actually have a successful relationship. Enabling her only prolongs all of our agony.

I see people are making a big deal about who is holding who, and where Shiloh is…etc. WHo cares? Man, I’d hate for my life and realtionship with my partners and children to be analyzed like this based on how we walk across the parking lot to the car after a trip to the Mall. Jeebus.

If Angie were holding Shiloh, somebody would harp about how she’s showing off “The Chosen One”(man, I hate that moniker) like they did in the New Orleans pictures (Oh, she’s in a WHITE blanket!, Remember, ladies??). Now that she’s not holding her, other morons are saying she doesn’t love her as much. It must be hard living with that much hate in your heart. I guess I should just feel sorry for them.

“Angelina Dates like a Guy”

This is what that E! chick Giuliana DiPandi said this morning on The Tyra Banks Show. She was promoting her book on sating like a guy. How she would know, who the heck knows? But when Tyra asked why, Giuliana said that she felt that Angelina didn’t need a man to have a fulfilling life. That Angelina got everything she wanted in her life without a man and by being assertive. Tyra chimes in by saying that she could see Angelina telling Brad to “hurry up & get the kids in the car”.

Can someone tell me when people will stop commenting on Brad & Angelina especially when they don’t know her? Wasn’t she living in England before Brad was in the picture? She would be in the States for premieres and awards (getting them as well). So where are all these “experts” getting their supposed knowledge from when she wasn’t even living here?

But when people who actually know her a little like co-stars, directors , UN colleagues and heck even ex’s, they have good things to say about her. That’s buried into media quicksand. Not that it matters but “Angelina is Fabulous” or “Angelina is a sweeheart” will never see the light of day in any tabloid much less the covers.

BTW I don’t think that dating like a guy is a compliment. Her “compliment” was a backhanded one IMO.

It was mentioned on “Good morning America” that Guy Ritichie called Brad about the adoption of their baby boy and Brad said “go for it”, then they stated e-mailing Angelina before they proceeded with the adoption. On the issue of why people adopt abroad, they said it is easier for a child in the orphnage to make it here than for one to make it in the poorer countries.

Jennifer Connolly could play Angie. She’s a little older, not younger, than Angie but I’ve always wanted to see them play sisters. JC is Angie without the strength and “force to be reckoned with” quality, but she’s the only actress I’ve seen with Angie’s calm and quiet self-possession. She has great acting chops; some of the roles she’s taken on have taken a lot of guts (Requiem for a Dream, for example. It’ll be interesting to see her in Blood Diamond) JC isn’t quite as beautiful, but she’s more beautiful than most.

Also, she’s married to Paul Bettany-a guy I’d put on my Freebie 5 list anytime!

Thanks for the info, that was great of Guy to call Brad. I read this morning on people website that the baby is alredy in London and a Malawi court granted Madonna and Guy temporary custody.
