In Canada, a parent is not necessarily a legal guardian and someone other than the parent can be the legal guardian. Don’t know how it’s like in California though.

I visited Jaipur for one day (alas, alas). and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We hired a 3 wheeler, like the one brad and Angelina were riding in
to get from place to place as we only had 12 hours.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt spent their first day in the city closeted in their hotel. The Hollywood couple landed in Jaipur on Wednesday.
Superintendent of police VK Singh, who is in charge of the Sanganer airport area, told the Hindustan Times that the stars were on a personal visit and hence, there was no need for them to inform the police. “They just want to spend some quiet time with each other. There is hardly any security risk, which is why the police have kept away from them,” he said.
A senior city palace security official, Narayan Singh, said that Brad was in the city to shoot for an ad film and his cameramen had spent an hour and a half at the palace.
Sources said Angelina and Brad might take some time out to select a location for their next film. The managers of the hotel where the two are staying were tight lipped about the details of their celebrity guests.

He and Angie seem to really be mindful and desirous of having a long-lasting love affair and doing what it takes to keep the fire burning. The best gift they can give their children is two parents who deeply love each other and have a solid relationship.

I hope they are really enjoying the pleasure of each other’s company. Good for them!

Sounds lovely (and romantic)! I cannot imagine Brad, Mr Architecture Buff himself, being this close to the Taj Mahal and not seeing it. Maybe they will arrange to see it late in the evening after hours. Even at night I bet it is breath-taking. If they do see it, I hope we (the public) don’t find out for quite some time. I would love for them to get to have the experience without intrusion for now, just like anybody else. And who knows, maybe a couple of years from now an interview may surface where Brad says, “When Angie and I visted the Taj Mahal….etc”.

It’s cool to know things about them, but I don’t have to know everything, and I don’t need to know it the minute it happens. As you know, our imaginations can fill in the blanks quite nicely, haha!! The urgency of knowing everything minute by minute is what causes all the crazy intrusions and photog frenzy. If we don’t get a new thread, I’m fine with that. We’ve had plenty of photos lately. I say leave them alone for a awhile and let them enjoy their romantic getaway.
