OlderShiloh Spotted in India!!
A semi-smiling Shiloh Jolie Pitt, almost 5 months, was spotted with proud mommy Angelina Jolie in Pune, India earlier today. Angie looks so protective of her daughter… Team Baby Shiloh! Meanwhile, Angelina’s security officer, Mickey Brett, carried Zahara, almost 2.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly spent the last few days (since Wednesday) relaxing in Jaipur, India. The Hollywood couple have been filming A Mighty Heart in Pune for the past two weeks. But according to a senior city palace security official, Brad was in Jaipur to shoot an ad film and his cameramen had spent an hour and a half at the palace.
In a recent feature with Brad by French magazine Cine Tele Revue:
Babel… the title of the film references the Tower of Babel, which men built to reach heaven. You sometimes create your own Lego version with your kids, right? Yeah, that comes from me. I would like to see Maddox as an engineer or architect, but right now he seems more interested in tee ball (a variation on baseball).
So you like Legos? Up to a certain point. There’s nothing worse that walking around barefoot in the middle of the night and stepping on a Lego that’s hiding in the carpet. It’s terrible. But what can you do? It’s one of the risks of being a dad.
And speaking about houses, is it true that you’re thinking of leaving LA? We’re thinking of that, yes. LA is not really a place to raise kids. We might move to DC, but nothing is settled.

that’s because the media and the tabliods have put a price over Shiloh’s pictures which wasn’t the case with Maddox or Zahara.
Tell me why when someone adopts a child, ni magazine asks the parents to show off their new son or daughter’s pictures. They had to show Shiloh’s pictures in People’s magazine so they could be temporarely be left alone and not stalked.
Shiloh is treated differently by the MEDIA and PUBLIC because she is the bio baby…her parents don’t treat them differently. Plus, Shiloh is barely 5 months old and she is in India where it’s really crowded and there is so much dirt and rain, it’s not right to take her out. So shut your trap!
And Adam : No one is telling you worship any one nor is anyone asking you to wear some stupid team t-shirt. The only who calls her messiah are the ones who do it out of hatred to taunt.

First of all Shiloh is only 5 months old, so naturally they are

Shiloh is a cutie. I just hope that as she gets older people won’t focus on her looks to much. It’s hard to grow up as it is without people overly obsessing over your development. It’s weird and I don’t like that “messiah” thing either. She’s just a baby not Jesus.
They do have a beautiful family and you can tell both love each child so much. People want there to be discord because of the differences in race, but I’m sure they won’t grow to see each other as racially different. They grow up in the same house, they will have a shared history and memory of family. If there is any discord it will be nothing more than basic sibling rivalry which should be expected. Brad and Angie seem to be doing a good job though.

You are not full of any time of reasoning at all. She’d save the littlest first, Shiloh of course, but that has nothing to do with the degree of love.
I come from a large family of six, all of us bio children, and I know that my parents love each one of us, but each one of us are different and they love us differently, not more or less, but differently. If you come from a big family, or a family with more than one or two siblinngs, you begin to realize that and move on with your life. Each is loved differently because each need and respond to love differently if that makes sense. Some kids are more independent, some a little more shy, etc. Some grew up in different circumstances, Maddox was the first, and Angie’s before Brad’s the way he is treated will be different due to his unique set of circumstances. When she had him, she was a new mother and excited about having him in her life, she showed him off to everyone and he, consequently, probably won’t go back to being shielded. Z’s the middle child and adopted by Angie when wit Brad, it was a new experience for Brad and during a time of increasing scrutiny. Angie did shield Zahara, I’ve seen the photos, but also I think they probably didn’t feel the need to be too protective, and Brad was enjoying his new role as a father, just in the way Angie did with Maddox. With Shiloh, she is the direct biological extension of their union, which creates a whole new set up circumstances. For one, Brad had to care for Angie pregnant, they had to learn to take care of a newborn, the media circus was vastly more overwhelming.
All in all though, there is a lot of love between them for all their children and as the children age, the new circumstances will try and test the love, which will grow, like it does in everyone elses family.

Angelina and Brad are pretty open when it comes to speaking about their family life and portraying a happy family. I don’t see that as them trying to prove anything, so why should there be a double standard for Jennifer Aniston?
I’m not a celebrity, but I assume at some point you do have to proport a likeable personality/life/whatever to be “bankable.” Jennifer, Brad, Angelina, these aren’t naive people. They all know how to work the media, they have to. It’s the nature of the beast.

Yes, I had a boyfriend once (more than once, but ya know) we were together for 5 years but miserable for two. I just kept remembering year one and could not wrap my brain around the fact that we would never be there again. I finally let him go for my own sanity. He showed up around town a month later with a girlfiend 10 years younger than me ( I was 30). Well part of me had always had hoped that he would miss me so much that he’d come crawling back and let me have my way. So you can only imagine how freaked out I got! The obsessive protectiveness shown in the pictures on this JJ thread is just sickening when compared to how she has always been “displaying” her two adopted children, as seen at the linked website. It all appear to be for show: one of her humanitarian/seriously good person side, and the other of her “motherly instinct.”
No mistake, though, all three children are cute and equally respected in their own right.

Some people mentioned why Shiloh was not in the previous pictures:—
Here is my response, but first a couple points on child development
1) Infants nap many times during the day. There is no set number of naps for infants. Even a normal range is WIDE.
2) The feeding and napping schedule or routine are different for infant and toddler. I mention this because Shiloh is still an infant but Z is a beginning toddler.
The Jolie Pitt arrived on 10/5. These pictures surfaced on 10/18. Remember by the time we see these pictures, they are taken a few days ago, meaning these pictures are “a few days old”. Taking into consideration of these “few days old” pictures, it is approximately 10 days when we see Shiloh. I dont think it is a long time.
First we saw Mad in the auto-rickshaw ride with the parents. Remember, that was a couple days later after they arrived. We did not see the younger children. It is possible the parents are giving their younger children more time to recover from jet lag and also to adjust to TIME ZONE differences.
Next we saw Z and Mad in the auto-rickshaw. It is possible that Z just woke up from a daytime nap and that it is still bright outside., so they decided to take Z and Mad outside the hotel.
We did not see Shiloh. It is certainly normal because again, she needs more nap than Z. May be it’s also very close to her feeding time. Generally, infants, being this young, does not give the parent a big block of time in between each feeding, waking and napping .
In conclusion, the 3 children’s daily routine are vastly different. It is hard to “match” them all at the same time. But I am optimistic that once Z and Shiloh are older, we will see more of them.
It would be very beneficial if the anti-Jolie Pitt people read some child development book.
People Magazine needs to pick the J-P again as their most beautiful family next year, because adding Shiloh is definitely adding more beauty.

I don’t care what anybody says, I just love to see pics of Shilo. The larger, the better. The more, the merrier. Let’s face it. If you put Shilo in a group of babies who could even be more beautiful than her, people will still be converging on that baby just because she’s Brad’s and Angie’s baby. It’s the fascination with the parents and their bio baby that draws the attention!
It’s something that the haters know but can’t understand because they themselves can’t help but be drawn in. Put up Shilo pics in one blog and then put Suri pics in another blog. They will say how much more beautiful Suri is but will they stay on that blog site? Heck no…they will troop en masse to the Shilo blog if only to torture themselves and criticize everything Shilo or Angie or Brad. I dunno about the Mickey looking sexy thing..but I do know it’s cool to see that he can go from looking like a fierce and menacing bodyguard and change into a protective, fatherly - type of person when he holds Zahara. One thing that has to be mentioned is how comfortable Zahara appears in Mickey’s Arms. Like she knows he’s someone who will protect her and is trustworthy. His official title may be “bodygaurd” but I think he plays a much bigger part in this family’s life as does Holly. Brad Pitt shoots for ad film in Jaipur
Jaipur, Oct 20: Hollywood star Brad Pitt, in the Rajasthan capital with his companion Angelina Jolie, participated in a film shoot at a historic fort near here today.
Earlier reports had suggested that Pitt and Jolie, who arrived here on Wednesday, were in the city in connection with the shooting of the film “A Mighty Heart”, based on the abduction and killing of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan.
But persons who helped organise the visit told a news agency that Pitt went to a palace in the city to shoot a commercial for a Japanese product. The couple stayed at Oberoi Rajvilas Hotel, where the entry of mediapersons was restricted.
According to a travel agent who arranged transport for the stars and their crew, Jolie preferred to stay in the hotel yesterday while Pitt shot for the ad film. Pitt also met members of Jaipur’s Royal Family after winding up the shooting last evening.
According to sources, Jolie accompanied Pitt today when he went to Bichoon Fort, about 50 km from here, to shoot for the commercial. The sources said one of the courtyards of the nearly 200-year-old fort was used as a market for the shoot.
While returning from yesterday’s shooting schedule, Pitt was impressed with decorations in the markets of Jaipur, especially in the walled quarter, the travel agent said.
The couple was scheduled to leave here late in the evening by a chartered flight, police sources said.
Pitt and Jolie arrived in India recently to shoot for “A Mighty Heart” in Pune after the movie crew decided not to film in Pakistan for security reasons.

LOL Wow, I can’t believe that I forgot about Playing By Heart. My bad. Jon’s “relationship” w/ his Dad is similar to Angie’s. When he was 10 his parents divorced and his father basically left his family. As expected he took it really hard and he’s even said that he felt “inadequate”. He’s mother didn’t remarry, as I know of, and he’s even said on the show that she raised him on her own. He doesn’t talk about it in great detail when he’s being interviewed because he doesn’t want to publicize just like Angie said in VF.
Here’s another thing they have in common, they were both outsiders in high school. Even though Jon was the class clown he was picked on for being Jewish since according to him, he was the only Jew in his grade. Also, his birthname is Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz.

Whew…I just had to get that out. As a Missourian it is my duty to root for my state’s one semi-decent professional sports team. Especially when they’re playing the Mets…and doubly so when it’s the NLCS. I hadn’t watched a baseball game all year, but last night I decided to watch the last inning just to see if the Cards blew it…again. So color me shocked when Molina, of all people, hit the HR.
After having said that I had to root for the Cards versus the Mets…let me be realistic now. For the sake of St. Louisans and Cardinal fans everywhere…here’s hoping they at least don’t get skunked like they did in 2004 when they lost to the BoSox…the freaking Bosox! The BoSox hadn’t won in nearly as long as the Cubs! Talk about embarrassing moment fora sports fan! Hopefully they’re pitching will hold up enough to let them win a game! That’s the completely history of the Cardinals in a nutshell - not enough good pitching.

Wow..I never those things about Jon’s life. I do remember him mentioning his mom once but I didn’t know much about his childhood. That’s a tough thing to go through. He and Angie do have a lot in common. It’s almost wierd how their lives parallel each other’s ..especially the part about them being close to their moms and their dads abandoning them. Quick question..is there some correlation that in a family where one of the parents abandons the rest (especially if the parent is dad) then that kid is often treated like an outsider? I’ve noticed through meeting all sorts of people that this is often the case. Maybe I’m genralizing but I’ve seen it happen many times.
One more thing they have in common…they both changed their names, right? Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz changed to Jon Stewart and Angelina Jolie Voight to Angelina Jolie.

“He is arguably one of the biggest stars in the world, if not the biggest. Men want to be him, and women want to be with him,” says Jerry Weintraub, who has produced the Ocean’s movie franchise and has been friends with Pitt for years.
Pitt’s career has never been better. He’s starring in unconventional films that show his grizzled side, such as Babel. And through Plan B, he is producing edgy projects such as Running With Scissors and the current box office hit The Departed. He’s also producing A Mighty Heart, starring girlfriend Jolie, 31, as the widow of murdered reporter Daniel Pearl.
In Babel, Pitt plays a helpless husband who tries to save his wife, who is accidentally shot while on a tense vacation in Morocco. Variety praises Pitt for giving his character “weight and strength,” and the Hollywood Reporter calls his performance “committed.”
Bring up Pitt’s name to anyone associated with him, and you hear stories of personal thank-you notes, congratulatory e-mails and a level of thoughtfulness unusual in a star of his caliber.
“Brad is not pretentious. There’s nothing artsy-fartsy about him,” says Running With Scissors director Ryan Murphy. “Brad is incredibly enthusiastic. I heard he’d liked the script, and I met him at the (production) offices, and here come these handmade Prada shoes with Brad Pitt attached. He said something to me like, ‘You’ve got wicked skills.’ ”
That unaffectedness, says Simon Kinberg, who wrote the 2005 hit Mr. & Mrs. Smith, “is kind of an amazing thing. It’s not a game or strategy with him.”

He has earned one Oscar nomination, for his supporting turn in 1995’s Twelve Monkeys. These days, Pitt mixes it up. He took a pay cut for 2007’s The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, but he’s also reprising Rusty Ryan in the third Ocean’s installment, due in June.
Film historian Leonard Maltin applauds Pitt’s willingness to “sacrifice some of his movie-star persona for the sake of a really good part. What we’re seeing is his willingness, if not downright eagerness, to challenge himself with more demanding and daring roles.”
And that gets major props from Darren Aronofsky, who was ready to direct Pitt in The Fountain before the actor dropped out because of creative differences.
“Brad’s a great guy, and we’re still friendly. We’re OK with the breakup,” Aronofsky says. “Brad’s a really smart, very talented guy. He’s come to a place in his work where he’s doing interesting stuff. He’s looking great. The pretty-boy thing wasn’t my type of hetero joy. I like the wizened Brad now.”
Others appreciate his taste for the unconventional, such as his decision to executive-produce the documentary God Grew Tired of Us: The Story of Lost Boys of Sudan. Writer/director Christopher Quinn had run out of money and says that, without Pitt’s help, the movie would likely not have been made. Quinn, introduced through their mutual friends, met Pitt at his home.
The meeting was casual and Pitt was disarming. But, Quinn says, he “has incredible follow-through. When we won (two awards) at Sundance, he sent me a note saying how proud he was to be a part of the movie.”

These days, it’s good to be Brad.
To pay the bills, he stars in and produces films, some artsy (Running With Scissors, which he produced, opens today; Babel, in which he stars, is out Oct. 27) and some slick (Ocean’s Thirteen just wrapped filming).
To give back, he helps with Hurricane Katrina rebuilding efforts and speaks out about global warming and poverty.
And at the end of the day, he goes home to Angelina Jolie and children Maddox, 5, Zahara, 1, and Shiloh, 4 months.
The actor, 42, once dismissed as a hunk with chiseled abs, has emerged as one of Hollywood’s most compelling leading men.
“I saw him go from this gawky kid to this unbelievably very solid, confident guy,” says celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz, who shot Pitt years ago and saw him recently during a shoot with Jolie. “I feel like he has an inner life now. Not that the other fellow wasn’t attractive — he was very attractive — but he was a kid. I just think he has grown up.”
Those close to Pitt say he’s riding high, at work and at home.
“I saw Brad two weeks ago,” says pal George Clooney. “He’s in such great spirits. He’s a really smart man who has grown into someone I’m really impressed by all the time. He’s a good friend. And what an amazing dad.”
Though Pitt’s looks still wow the ladies, his appeal now is more than skin deep.
“People love him,” says Entertainment Tonight’s Leonard Maltin. “He’s in a great place and seems to be doing everything right.”

For Pitt, career comes a distant second to family.
“I still value the work I do, but at the same time I value more getting home to the kids. It somehow makes my work mean more, because I know somewhere down the road my kids will see it,” Pitt told the London Mirror this month.
The actor doesn’t grant many interviews these days (and declined to be interviewed for this story), largely shuns the Hollywood party circuit and hits the red carpet only to promote his movies or raise awareness of the causes he champions. He has never discussed his split in January 2005 from his wife, Jennifer Aniston, or his relationship with Angelina Jolie. The scandal could have demolished a lesser star.
After playing cat-and-mouse with the media while promoting Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Pitt and Jolie officially emerged as a couple, announcing her pregnancy in January and welcoming daughter Shiloh, now 4 months, in May. Since then, the couple have tried to keep a fairly low profile.
Jolie, says Smith writer Simon Kinberg, is “more internal and reserved,” while Pitt is “ebullient and open. They’re both very smart, curious, generous people.”
Pitt, who is adopting Maddox, 5, and Zahara, 1, spends most of his free time with his multicultural brood. They visited him on the Ocean’s set in the Los Angeles area and hung out in his trailer.
“He’s fantastic with his kids,” producer Jerry Weintraub says. “He’s totally involved. He takes them around; he takes them every place he goes.”
Indeed, if Pitt is seen out in public, chances are he’s holding Zahara, racing toy cars in Paris with Maddox or taking the boy for a motorized rickshaw ride in Pune, India, where the couple is shooting A Mighty Heart. Like other parents, Pitt told Esquire, he grapples with sleepless nights and diaper rash.
His parenting philosophies are simple: “I try not to stifle them. If it’s not hurting anyone, I want them to be able to explore,” he told the magazine. “At night, before they go to bed, I feel it’s really important to have that time to sit and talk to them. I really like that last minute before they fade off.”
He has become an advocate for adoption. “Now that I have two adopted kids, I cannot imagine life without them,” he said in Esquire. “They’re as much of my blood as any natural born, and I’m theirs.”
Because he can’t go out in public without starting a riot, Pitt has found more solitary ways to let off steam. He rides dirtbikes and motorcycles and flies a plane. He reads books about architecture, including Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things by William McDonough, listens to Jack White’s new band, The Raconteurs, and watches Run’s House on MTV.
But that doesn’t mean the scrutiny doesn’t get to him. “The only other artist I’ve been around that had the same affect with the press was Presley, and Elvis, unlike Brad, hid from the press,” Weintraub says. “Brad at least tries to lead as much of a normal life as he can. But he knows that whatever he does is a headline. His best way to deal with it is to put a motorcycle helmet on, so they can’t see his face. Now he’s a pilot, so he can get up in the air and get away from it.”
