OlderShiloh Spotted in India!!
A semi-smiling Shiloh Jolie Pitt, almost 5 months, was spotted with proud mommy Angelina Jolie in Pune, India earlier today. Angie looks so protective of her daughter… Team Baby Shiloh! Meanwhile, Angelina’s security officer, Mickey Brett, carried Zahara, almost 2.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly spent the last few days (since Wednesday) relaxing in Jaipur, India. The Hollywood couple have been filming A Mighty Heart in Pune for the past two weeks. But according to a senior city palace security official, Brad was in Jaipur to shoot an ad film and his cameramen had spent an hour and a half at the palace.
In a recent feature with Brad by French magazine Cine Tele Revue:
Babel… the title of the film references the Tower of Babel, which men built to reach heaven. You sometimes create your own Lego version with your kids, right? Yeah, that comes from me. I would like to see Maddox as an engineer or architect, but right now he seems more interested in tee ball (a variation on baseball).
So you like Legos? Up to a certain point. There’s nothing worse that walking around barefoot in the middle of the night and stepping on a Lego that’s hiding in the carpet. It’s terrible. But what can you do? It’s one of the risks of being a dad.
And speaking about houses, is it true that you’re thinking of leaving LA? We’re thinking of that, yes. LA is not really a place to raise kids. We might move to DC, but nothing is settled.

For the love of Godiva, I’m about to become a Faniston out of sheer pity for Jennifer. Imagine being seen as The Loser in everyone’s eyes. Not “a” loser, but “the” loser. Angelina with her family, looks, man, wealth and publicly charitable spirit is the happier person? *slaps knee* Ya don’t say.
I don’t think Angelina does charity work solely for publicity. She will always get publicity. At certain levels of fame, you don’t even have to try.
Jennifer Aniston wishes to concentrate on her career. This does not make her a soulless, attention *****. You know the cheesey saying about us all being unique little snowflakes? It’s kinda true. We all don’t have to want the same things, and be made happy by the same things. Don’t worry about Jennifer Aniston, she’ll be fine. And if it seems like she’s constantly trying to prove she’s fine, well, can you blame her?

some of us were speculating ( i don’t remember if it was here, YG or e-mail) about the “power shift” when brad joined the family. i’ll bet that mickey thinks of angie like a daughter (more than that lout she’s genetically linked to) and he had to circle braddy a bit to size him up. it probably wasn’t dramatic and didn’t take long, but i’m thinking mickey gave him the once-over and then the stamp of approval.

It was a cold New York night, and the outfit I had on was pretty thin, so I couldn’t tell it was him at first. I gave him my price, which he thought reasonable, then headed to the hotel. You’re right! I forgot Mickey was already the protecter before Brad got there. There must have been a little once-ever done on Brad by Mickey as to what his real intentions were! And what a power shift Angie had to make to let Brad into her life and let him be a part of Maddox’s life, too. Somehow they have managed to put it all in place.

Though, public image is almost everything in that lifestyle.
Angelina and Brad are pretty open when it comes to speaking about their family life and portraying a happy family. I don’t see that as them trying to prove anything, so why should there be a double standard for Jennifer Aniston?
I’m not a celebrity, but I assume at some point you do have to proport a likeable personality/life/whatever to be “bankable.” Jennifer, Brad, Angelina, these aren’t naive people. They all know how to work the media, they have to. It’s the nature of the beast.
I do agree with you though, generally speaking, people will be fine when they stop feeling the need to prove something.
