Baby Zahara & Her Bracelets
Baby Z was spotted wearing bangles (those are like totally so in right now) in the arms of daddy Brad Pitt earlier this week. Zahara is almost two and cute as a button! She was carried by Angelina Jolie’s security officer Mickey Brett earlier this week as well.

92 | The real lou | THANKS, now I won’t throw the whole issue out. LOL. I would love to put those pictures on my wall too but I am 40 and never mind….ROTFL “she’s my love” get in line Tye, GET IN LINE…
BTW: I love those black and white photos of Angie. I wish those pictures would come out as a book. I would buy atleast two…
Head’s up for E.A. Fans next chapter is up and running.
Off Topic…sorta
So cool. Brad Pitt is producing WITH Johnny Depp the movie SHANTARAM. There are 4 producers, but two the other two are the distributors. It’s only a matter of time before we get a Johnny & Angelina flick……I feel it……but not WUTHERING HEIGHTS. I see her as Cathy but just don’t see him as Heathcliff. I think Joaquin Phoenix has that tender/brut/vulneralbe/meanie thang and would be great.

93 | Missouri Fan |Hey MF I tried twice with EA and wouldn’t go thru so if you figure it out please give me some tips…….
Hi gals and guys, I would like to thank all of you who wrote fanfics on EA. You are great storytellers and I loved reading everyone of them so far. I am working on reading all the stories. Have a great day!
hopefully Angie will answer these questions.

I’m a fan of the BAMZS fans on Justjared and I don’t mean to attack you in anyway but I have to disagree with your comment above.
I don’t find it necessary for Angelina to answer these questions for the public. If she does, then that’s her own choice but I’m not praying or hoping that she has to answer any questions about what she does with her daughter’s hair.
We can all debate about this all we want and make it into a cultural debate but in the end it’s Angelina and Brad’s decision to do what they want to do with her hair. And if she leaves it as an afro, then it might have to do with Zahara’s comfort and not something cultural.
I doubt Brad and Angelina are trying to present some “message” about how they handle Z’s hair and I don’t think they are making it into some kind of debate about what it says about Zahara’s background.
Angelina gave Maddox a mohawk because she said his hair stands up and so this was a good hairstyle for his hair. Yet people like to think it has something to do with her being some kind of rebel and projecting that on her children.
We all seem to be making it a bigger deal than it really is.
Some things about this family get over-anazlyzed when it needs to be taken at face value. Not everything has some grand meaning or metaphor behind it.
Again, I’m not attacking you. I just don’t understand why Angelina HAS to answer such questions.
Missouri Fan, I don’t know if you saw this in the last thread so i’m positng it here.
Heheh, I think Jon already does show his love for her even when she’s not there lol In 2003 or 2004 (really can’t remember which year it was), when she went to the economic forum (Sharon Stone was there also) he, like always, made fun of Sharon. But when Angie was on the screen he said that he couldn’t pay attention to what she was saying because her hotness distracted him lol
I have a “Jon Heart Angie” playlist on youtube.

I am an African American womon who raised 3 daughters. Remember they just came from the beach, and Angie probably hasn’t had time to wash and brush Z’s hair. When my girls hair got wet from swimming or showering I would let it breathe until I felt like combing it. African Americans are overly senistive about black children’s hair, especially when they are being reared by white parents. Most white people don’t know how to care for their hair, and as a result the children’s hair goes unattended. But, having read Angie’s book, Notes of my Travels, and seeing how she prepares herself for whatever she under takes, I am certain she and Brad will either figure it out or seek help. The hair is a small issue. The larger issue is that this child is alive, and well and enjoying a life most of us will never have. As a mother who always kept her daughter’s hair looking good, if not always stylish, according to them. I am not going to stress over this hair issue. I love the bracelts. This is one lucky family. Not just Z, and Maddox because they were adopted, but Brad and Angie because they will grow and learn from Z and Maddox. Carol’s Daughter is a really good product. Someone told them to purchase it. That same person, or someone else will help them understand when. I will volunter as the hair care taker. I just want to travel, and I’m to old for Brad. Plus I want him to stay with Angie. Peace everybody, even the haters. One day they will stop hating, because they will realize it doesn’t change anything.
US mag
article called “spin cycle” –Aniston appearing on Oprah
p.52 Did Jen lie to Oprah
excerpt:–
…..”The toughest people to read are actors”, Jack Trimarco, a former FBI polygraph expert tell US . “Most things they say are scripted”. Indeed Aniston’s acting coach Leigh Kilton-Smith was in the fron row.
(note the last sentence, Jen brought her acting coach to tape Oprah)
108 | wow | WOW…Totally agree. A few threads back there were questions Brad needed to answer. LOL Unlike others, B&A are not going to address gossip. PERIOD. They are living their lives accordingly.
110 | dina | great post and you are right….we are quite sensitive about our hair, but then again what female isn’t…..

Jen has an acting coach? Heck, she should ask for her money back!!!
Original jpf:

110 | dina | Great Post…..
113 | briseis |:lol: She’s needs refund from the acting coach and SH (he’s doing her a dis-service with his PR campaign)
108 | wow |
Not to gang up on you, crybabyAniston, but I do agree with wow. AJ shouldn’t have to engage in a Q & A about how she is raising her children. You’re sounding like a poster from a previous thread who demanded that BP answer 40+ questions about his marriage/separation/divorce. Besides, if the kids are happy and well taken care of, the route that got them there shouldn’t be questioned.
As for the hair debate, I hope they won’t put chemicals in her hair. Chemicals shouldn’t be in the debate at this point; she’s barely two. And although there are relaxers designed for children, that always struck me as wrong somehow. Most of us had to endure pressing, which could be painful, especially to the tenderheaded. I hope they allow it to be natural as long as they can. Z may experience peer pressure when she’s a teen and push for chemical intervention; I say, let B and A instill a healthy pride in Zahara.
Braids could be cool, but it depends on who’s doing it. Some people braid way too tight and sometimes it takes hours; the concept of torturing a barely two year old for hours isn’t appealing. And you all know that if BA let Z in for hair braiding, there will be those claiming that they are looking for an out to dealing with black hair, or that they are ashamed of Z-nevermind black parents have to deal with their and their children’s hair issues. Then again, they would bash BA for ‘allowing’ Z to have an afro, as if an afro is an unnatural hairstyle.
As long as BA doesn’t cop out like some negligent parents do… I knew some black parents who shaved their kids’ heads, regardless of gender, to duck the trials associated with black hair… now, that’s a shame.

thank you for your post.
very well said

Not really sure of your question, but Infinitum Nihil is Johnny’s production company, and of course Plan B is Brad’s. These are the two listed as the producers of the movie SHANTARAM in the movie company credits.

Hello ladies, what is going on here? I can’t believe people are talking about Zee’s hair. So, what her hair is not comb in the picture, big deal, there are more important thing in the world to worry about that Zee’s hair not been combed in one picture; people just like to complain about much to do about nothing, leave B&A to raise Z the way they want too.
Can we please understand the definition of “African-American” Zahara is not an “African-American” She is an “Ethiopian-America”
The term African America is used for the ancestors of slaves. Like Oprah is African America. Northeast Africans are not “African-American”.
is anyone having trouble with this site?
correct me if i’m wrong.
i thought Z will always be an Ethiopian with an american citizenship because she was born in Ethiopia and her ancestry is Ethiopian.
I had an issue with the hair a long time ago. Of course I was one of the mothers with the ribbons, ponytail holders and barettes-my girl was (and is) a girly girl. Ribbons on the hair matched the ribbons on the socks. . . It is obvious that Z won’t be raised to be frilly and that’s Angie’s choice. I do agree with Rica however, I don’t care who you are and what you know and don’t know. NO child should leave the house with hair like that. Plait it, braid it or whatever. Most ppl I know need some sort of moisturizer. It wouldn’t hurt to brush the hair on a regualr basis also. But hey, that’s Angie’s kid. She represents Angie when she leaves the house-if Angie is okay with her precious little princess’ hair looking like that-then hey- so am I. To each his or her own. But for me, when my kids leave this house they are well groomed and polished!
