If you missed the debut last month, these were the very first official Suri Cruise pictures from October 2006 issue of of Vanity Fair. Proud parents Tom Cruise, 44, and Katie Holmes, 27, were on the cover with their beautiful baby girl. Katie Couric first revealed these pictures during her broadcast of CBS Evening News saying, “After much speculation as to why she’s been undercover for so long, here is proof positive. Yes-Suri (Yessirree), she does exist!!”
Vanity Fair’s celebrity go-to photographer Annie Leibovitz snapped the photos at Tom’s home in Telluride, Colorado back in July when baby Suri was 3+ months old. Tom said, “It seemed only natural to have Annie take the first public photographs of Suri. Annie is the only professional photographer who ever shot Bella and Connor as children.” The magazine scans can be found here.

Suri has Katie Holme’s lips so I don’t know if I can say she’s the cutest baby I’ve seen so far. Suri’s ok. Babies are cute in general, if they’re not crying their eyes out. I love Shiloh. When I saw her in People, I thought she looked really beautiful. Shiloh and Zahara are going to be beautiful women. Suri? Not sure.

)…granted Tom might be a bit strange and Katie a bit lovesick and naive, but truth be known they love this child (yes, THEIR child…) and isnt that the most important thing here, people? There are so many neglected children out there, so many abused kids, so many children on Adderall and Concerta..is it a crime that they want to love and protect their child? You all need to get over yourselves..sorry but we are not multi-million dollar celebrites..Just go home and love your children as much as they love their baby.

I think for caucasian people, they would find Suri beautiful, since she looks exotic and just different. But for asians like, we would find her so ordinary, any asian babies could look like her. She looks ameriasian or eurosian.
Suri is cute but im not sure if she will be beautiful Her features not so prominent, if you look at her nose and her mouth, they are wuite ugly. She is cute now because she is a baby, but then her features will still change. On the other hand, Shiloh, even still a baby, you can see her mouth and nose so gorgeous already.

Suri is so cute overall, not one single feature in her face can even be considered average. The hair is the main appeal in this little girl.

She seems a cute and animated baby.Too expressive for a 3 1/2 months, but who cares… Individually her features are not good: big ears and nose, so we won’t know if she’ll be beautiful until she grows into her face.
You people are CRAZY that is NOT a 3mos old baby. Read for yourselves what a 3mos old baby can do and the type of motor skills it has.

EXACTLY! There’s even a video in the top right hand corner. Suri was not 3 mos old or even 3 1/2 mos old when these photo’s were done. Just keep clicking through that site for “A look ahead” and you’ll see how old Suri really is.
Tom and Katie are so full of it and that’s why Katie’s a nervous wreck about the things written about her. She has a secret and is afraid she’ll be called out on it
When the photos were taken she was three and a half months old and looks exactly that age to me. If you look at her size compared to their hands in the shots you’ll see how tiny she is. The reson some people think she looks older is because she is very alert - probably down to the mother’s good diet and a lot of attention and care.

Did we read the same information? What I read on babycenter pretty much coincides with what I’m seeing in these pictures:

Need I say that every child is different? That is to be assumed. BUT this child (who is extremely cute, BTW) is a child who is hitting the appropriate milestones at the appropriate time. What is making her look older is the hair. She’s got the same head of hair I had as a baby and my nephew had too. He looked like a little old man for so long.
I feel for this family. They can’t win. People harrass them for not showing her off and then rip apart their baby when they do. Hmmm, wonder why they waited so long to reveal her to the world? I would’ve done the same.
I think they are caring, loving parents. They show that be the support they give the older kids. Suri is a lucky girl to have been born to such adoring parents.
This debate is getting old, though. Leave them alone. Let them be a family.

I have been around many babies, and have children of my own, that baby was not 3 1/2 months old when those photos were taken. I’ll estimate that that baby is at least 5 months old on those photos.
I’ll say, TomKat have some ’splaining to do.
P.S. I do believe they baby is Tom’s, she is the spit ‘n image of him, but I think she was born earlier than they are telling the public.
She’s a cutie! And it is possible for her took look like this at 3 months. My son is 3 months and he looks like that. People, you don’t know what you’re talking about. All pictures these days are airbrushed anyway.
My daughter was exactly Suri’s size when she was that age and she too had lots of dark hair just like Suri. She was absolutely beautiful! I just want to say to all you haters, dont be jealous just because YOUR babies are bald and butt ugly at that age! Oh and stop comparing Suri to Shiloh! They are BOTH absolutely gorgeous babies and BOTH will grow up to be beautiful women! Since they are both the same age, they will probably become great friends someday! I just don’t understand why Shiloh fans feel they need to rip on Suri and vice versa? Why is it that you always have to rip on someone? Why not treat others the way you want to be treated? Think about it, would you want your babies compared to others and would you like it if people told you your baby was ugly? I truely believe you will be treated the way you treat others. I come from Italy . In my country is forbidden to photograph a celeb baby…I can understand why,now!
