It’s official! Babel will not be entered as a foreign film…. great news for the movie! Thanks, Gabriella! Above is Brad Pitt facing off against director Alejandro González Iñárritu in the November 2006 issue of InStyle magazine. Send in a better scan if you’ve got it!

It’s a good film, a bit long, subtitled, frontal femal nudity, but the acting is on point. Big premiere? I doubt it. How can you have a big one when it’s been at so many festivals and so many pre-screenings? I would love to see Brad, Cate and Bernal on the red carpet. Three in demand actors. Hot, hot, hot!: here’s a funny review from someone who went to a screening. I was LMAO. It seems like someone was jealous of Brad:

And… Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett did a good job as usual, but the desperation in Brad Pitts eyes throughout the whole movie felt almost as if he was begging for an oscar - like: “George Clooney got one, now I want one, too!”.

Hay ya’ll! These pictures just put me in mind of the quotes from Inarritu about what Brad was going through personally at the time this was being filmed, and the conversation Inarritu said he had with Brad one evening in his trailer……he said Brad was going through “a beautiful experience” and Brad revealed to him that he had “fallen passionately in love Angelina”, and that he did not wish to make Jennifer suffer, but he had to be with Angie, that she “make it insane” LOL, so I guess that means Brad told him he’d go crazy without her.

I think Brad called upon and was able to use those new feelings Angie was stirring up in him….intense passion for a soulmate and lover, his new role as dad to Maddox, etc…and channel them into this intense role.

This was the beginning of what he called “not only going after interesting roles but having an interesting life”. This captures the beginning of his transformation into family man, and if he does win an Oscar, I feel that is why.

Brad Pitt is in the best place of his life. He has a loving and devoted relationship with Angie and their three children then his career took on a much higher dimension. He is Hollywood’s IT man, the biggest movie star globally and a successful movie producer. His life and career is smoking hot! I can’t wait to see Babel.

Personally, I don’t think they will be walking the red carpet together for this film. It’s too small, and too intimate, and too indy for the kind of ‘Brangelina’ circus that would ensue - it would take the focus off of the movie, and individual performances.

Brad & Angie will save the red carpet walk for Oscar, and maybe Oceans 13 (that calls for a circus), when it releases.

What a nice thing for us, Jared, on a Monday morning when no one really wants to be at work — handsome pictures of Braddy! You really spoil us that’s why I always go to your site when I some free time. I never even bother to go to other sites anymore — most of the time they have the same thing that you do anyway, except that your Brad/Angie threads are much more interesting.
