Jennifer Aniston’s Curtain Call

I don’t know how you can judge a performance that was only 10 freaking minutes. That isn’t a play, that’s a skit! How many lines did she have, three?? And people declare it a “smash hit”?? I’d like to see Jennifer do a four hour Shakespeare play on Broadway every day for a month straight, let’s see how she would handle that. I don’t understand what she has done in her career to validate her as a talented actress. She is a mediocre actress at best. She is no Julianne Moore, she is no Meryl Streep. Any compliments she got were probably out of politeness. I can’t stand how she bogarts the attention away from real talented actors, and why? What is so compelling about miss Jennifer Aniston? The only things that people discuss about when it comes to Jennifer Aniston are her ex, her boobs, or her hair. The truth is, she has no relevance as an ACTRESS. And the sad thing about her manipulative PR tactics post divorce is that while it extended her 15 minutes like she wanted, it also cemented her as a superficial mascot for gossipmongers and tabloids. I think she and her people realize that this is now the only way she can stay relevant and get attention. The first thing she says while on Oprah is that she didn’t get a boob job. She didn’t need to go there, after all, she had a 10 minute movie that she CO-directed to talk about. She denies she and Vince have broken up, yet she has never on the record said they were together in the first place. If you want a rumour to go away, you don’t talk about it with Oprah folks.

If we don’t feel for Aniston than we’re heartless. Hello. There are quite a few of us that feel for Brad and what he was going through. All you have to do is read his interviews that he’s done for Babel and it’s all right there. He felt his life didn’t make any sense and wasn’t going where he’d hoped it was going. Interesting, that when he got out of a bad marriage, all of his dreams seem to be flourishing. He’s got a family, his production company is the hottest in town and his humanitarian work is also flourishing. Yes, the person that you share your life with can hold you back from becoming the person you want to be.

I feel sorry for Angelina for being dragged into a situation that she had nothing to do with by the press because she made the story salacious when it wasn’t. And his ex wife because it deflected her own short comings and responsibility in the breakup of her own marriage.

I always said let Aniston talk and talk and she’d let you know the real truth. Which was that they grew apart. That they didn’t tend to their marriage because everything came before it.

I remember a story about them in Italy at Clooney’s while shooting O12 and she made an ass out of herself at a few dinners where she made it very clear she had no intention of following Brad on his humanitarian trips. Which after she said herself in an interview, just wasn’t her thing.

I respect the fact that Brad has never bad mouthed an ex or said why things imploded. It’s no one’s business. The fact that Aniston sold her soul for some magazine covers deserves the flack that is coming her way. We’re not the only one’s calling her on it. It’s the press, experts in the field and other actors/actresses saying, please do not make me a victim or a team of anything.

You can always spot a rabid Brangelina fan with their over-used of the letter “X” its like some secret code name of warfare, since this a Jennifer Aniston thread drop the “X”.

I see Paltrow was at the Babel premier in NYC. Apparently, the only ex wife or girlfriend Brad won’t work with or hire is Aniston.

What it looks like to me is the things the fans love so much about Jennifer are the very things Jennifer hates the most about herself. This is what frustrates and upsets those who are not Jennifer fans. Only Jennifer herself knows what is in her heart but it does not a genius take to figure out this woman, to a certain point at least. On the other hand, Angelina is very vocal and upfront about things most people would never speak of. Non fans use AJ’s honesty against her, hating her for her honesty as much as for her actions. AJ’s true fans love her honesty and admire her guts to expose so much of herself. By contrast JA seems to hide many, many things which non fans hate her for. JA fans love this about JA, its easy to accept someone who only reveals what people want to know. Each woman is within her rights to be the way they chose.

Neither woman is wrong or bad or ***** or saint just human and totally, totally different.

That’s right . I can’t stand it too. You can call Scarlet J., Jessica Alba, Rachel Mcadam cute, but to a woman hitting 40 , calling her cute ? I think its more an insult. another thing I found it ridiculous is calling her beautiful. she is totally not beautiful, so average even on the edge of ugly.

Please don’t lie to youtself, Brad was in the marriage, he has his piece to share if he wanted he knows Jennifer’s flaws and insecurities and could’ve exposed her. He has 50% of the story and no matter how much Jennifer said it remains 50% of the story. In fact he was too bad like some of you are saying he could’ve come up with lies (like the diabloical bullsht) and attach them to Jennifer, he wouldn’t defended her on and on. You know well he was gentleman with her and treated her with utmost respect. It’s too bad that Jennifer couldn’t let him go after many months of seperation, she had Vince and yet Brad’s behaviour was important! Brad has history of not speaking about his personal life or reasons for break up to the media, he respects his life. He was labeled with cheater, cad, yada yada until Gwyneth 7 years later during her interview with Diane Sawyer reveal it all, it was ALL her fault. It might be too late but at least the truth was spoken not by him, but by her. The “wronged” person isn’t the one who try to create some public sympathy, but he’s the one who can make the person that did him wrong feel guilty and apologize for it.

Jennifer is not some shallow person out for a pity party in the public. She is going to become one of the most successful female actresses of all time. I think the break up with brad and Angie having his baby so soon afterwards and those low rated movies and these false negative criticisms of her, made her a stronger woman. I am an aspiring actress and I hope one day I can work under her. i have the utmost respect for Jennifer Aniston. This day on broadway was an uprising from the upheaval her ex-husband and Angelina brought on. And when she has children they’ll be very beautiful. And if she doesnt have children, GREAT! Some of us choose NOT to have children. I don’t know why a woman is required to have children to ‘fulfill’ life. That is a personal choice. And if Jen does not want to have children yet, then so be it. And for all those stupid Brangelina fans who dont like the criticisms against BAMZS family, and MAKE UP ridiculous krap against Jen out of REVENGE, we’ll see one day who will be the winner. I’ve been a supporter of Jen form the very beginning after her divorce and (once a fanatic of Angelina) lost respect for Angelina and had no respect for brad to begin with. Jennifer is NOT Angelina! Ebony - you’re a woman of reason and compassion. Thank you for your post. I get very frustrated. I’m a Jennifer fan from way back, but I don’t like, nor do I hate Brangelina. I just wish the sordid world would leave these three alone to live their lives.
