OlderJennifer Aniston’s Curtain Call
Jennifer Aniston took her curtain call on stage earlier this evening for her Broadway debut in the 10-minute play, Three Girls and Bob. Jen played a single woman who attends an intimacy workshop with two friends (Rosie Perez and Lynn Whitfield) and then tries out its lessons on a hapless man (David Cross).
Jen’s play was part of The 6th Annual “24 Hour Plays” on Broadway to benefit the Working Playground, Inc. at NYC’s American Airlines Theatre. Jen, 37, arrived at 8 AM and rehearsed through the day. Technical rehearsals ran from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. Doors opened at 7:45 PM and the curtain rose at 8 PM. I am oh so curious to hear the reviews…
Co-star Rosie Perez said: “We had a real boost from Jennifer Aniston. She was as sweet as pie. I really appreciated her coming because she raised the profile of tonight’s event and that is going to help so much. She didn’t have to do this. She didn’t have to take time out of her schedule.”
Jen, 37, was accompanied on stage by fellow actors Nia Vardalos, Anna Paquin, Lynn Whitfield, Kieran Culkin, and Erika Christensen (pictured below). More pictures in the gallery!

Do you really think these impoverished people in these third world countries give a **** that Angelina Jolie comes and hands out rice to them?? They dont even know who she is!! She’d do better to send money/food/meds to help them yet she’s always got her big pus in front of the camera unloading some truck full of supplies. THATS PR BABY!! Not only does she do that - she did it when she was preggers too - THATS BIG TIME PR BABY!! In fairness to Angelina. She’s been doing this work for the UN for years and doing the same damn thing for years and long before she met Pitt. The attention thrown at her because of their relationship is 10 fold.

I believed him, I also believed him when he said Angie had nothing to do with the split as well. Certainly the failure to be on the same page regarding a family played a part, but it was just one small part.. He said it wasnt one thing, they just grew apart I think… They discovered they wanted different things out of life, it happens to many couples every day.

Angelina Jolie is a UNHCR GoodWill Ambassador, do you know what that means? It doesn’t mean wear some lavish gowns and attend few galas organized by Hollywood to take pix with some kids or cry at some speeches, it means go out and travel to these countries, visit refugees, talk to them and spread awareness of their plights. She DOES donate millions, funds orphanages and clinics and keeps talking about their plights more so than any other GoodWill Ambassadors. The fact that she risks her life going to these places means NOTHING but GENUINE desire to help people. Now IF she started doing this right after her relationship with Brad your nonsense actually would have made sense, OR if she donated $500 K to the only cause where Americans will go “awww” (Katrina) and publicize it right after her whiney interview then i would definitely believe this was all PR move like certain other actress.

I don’t think it was just one thing either. Brad’s said forever and a day he wanted children and a family. So for Aniston to say or rather hide behind comments her friends made to say he was never serious about kids was just wrong and cruel.

Just to add that as a UNHCR Angelina is NOT obligated to donate, pay for her own flights, visits, stay, write journals or adopt and YET she does all that since 6 years now. Take Nicole Kidman who her visit to India is taking a toll on the organizers, they are raising money to pay for her expenses.

Please before spewing those venoms out. research before commenting. Angie has been doing this charity for the last 6yrs. way before meeting Brad. She had been handling and distributing good to the impoverished area way before meeting Brad . She even wrote a book on her journey published in 2002 , a year before meeting Brad. Its the intense media attention on her charity work after her relation with Brad started. I never think she is a saint, knew her past and accept her past but she is a good person with big heart. and I believed that she didn’t mess with Brad while he was still married. and Brad with is past record, I believed he didn’t cheat his wife, they are having problem and their marriage just didn’t work just like 51% of american marriage .
They were thinking only of themselves and it was blatently obvious! I dont however think people should forever hate them but I do believe they created this monster all on their own. You make your bed and then you must lay in it.

Thanks for this post. I dont post, just lurk but I agree so much with this. I became interested in Angelina many years ago as a result of her work as UNHCR ambassador. I hadnt even see any of her films but was so impressed by this young woman’s devotion and genuine desire to help others. It has really annoyed me to see people claim after all these years she is doing this for PR!! Where were these people 6 years ago? It is true, due to her private life the media is more interested in her. This is a double edged sword in a way but.. Angelina is using it for good to get more awareness to her causes. I do admire her for this.
Once again, THIS IS HER JOB TO SPREAD AWARENESS. You cant spread awareness if people dont know what you are doing!

For those, Patti, who keep insisting that Aniston went with Brad to Africa, um, no she didn’t. She’s never set foot on the continent with him. His first visit to Kenya and Ethiopia was in Nov. 2004, he left Italy after finishing MMS and went straight to Africa on behalf of the One Campaign and DATA campaigns. Aniston was finishing RHI and starting Derailed. Nice try though. As Aniston has said this past year, that sort of humanitarian work isn’t her thing.
The reason why the Kenya photos shocked Aniston wasn’t because he was with Angelina, since Brad had been honest with her about his attraction and growing feelings for Angelina, what shocked her was Maddox. That blew all of her theories out the window. It wasn’t just a fling like she was hoping and she started going, “Oh, ****.” They’re a family.
And since it’s all about her, she knew that would bring home that kids, although not the only issue, were an issue between them at some point and time.
They probably became the issue after Aniston told Brad there was no way she’d sign on for a 10th season. Promised him and lied to him up until the time she signed. Yep. That’ when Brad threw up his hands and gave up and decided he hated his life and that his life in it’s current form, was heading no where and no where fast.
Considering the two very different lives they’re leading, there really shouldn’t be any doubt that they weren’t on the same life path. Brad’s life now hardly resembles his life of 2 years ago and Aniston’s, well, yeah, she’s got a new dog.
