First? super cute! the kids look happy… I’m glad Madonna adopted. I’m pissed at the media for turning it into a scandal. Malawi needs international adoptions and this media mess will discourage people… the only one’s who lose in this battle are those kids that need parents….

#12/Coco I agree with what u say, she’s doing a good thing but I think it’s also fair to “look deeper” in the sense of not seeing adoption as just “peechy & rosy”, I have lots of adopted friends who were/are pretty messed up due to things related to theim being adopted. What I was trying to say was that people should make greater efforts to build poor countries up from the ground (and throw off their greedy governments) so that families don’t have to be torn apart due to poverty.,u understand? But of course, as long as there ARE poor kids who get a chance for a better life then great…

D… i getcha… and i agree… I have a few adopted friends too and yes, it can be tough to deal with and work through, but I also know they are so grateful for the life they’ve been given as the alternative was pretty bleak. They also feel so loved by their adoptive parents… but I do get what you say… it’s not peachy and it’s not rosy, but he’s getting a good home hopefully and more importantly a chance at a good education. She’s creating debate though and awareness, so all that’s good I guess… then you have TTT and ZZZ with their insightful words! Keep it comin’ guys! and try hitting another key on the keyboard!

I think it’s great! The kids all look happy! I think Madonna and Guy have their heart in the right place. They are such great parents already. They make sure their kids live a semi-normal life and not jetset them all over the world. David is a lucky boy, as well as the Ritchy family for having him in their life too. God bless them!!

I’m so happy for him and them. I have a feeling they need him as much as he need’s them beccause I’ve before seen or felt they were really “all” connected. It was like Lourdes was her daughter, and Rocco was also her’s but from a different dad. Guy seemed distant always and like Madonna ran the show, but I get a completely different vibe from these pic’s, and it’s a good vibe.

Side something……….I’d love for Rocco and Maddox to meet. I bet they’d have a blast and so would their dads.

Wow you guys are definitely all her fans….I say if the boy gets a good life great, but I am not diefying this woman…the difference between me and the all these Madge Stans…case in point let any other pop queen (ie a Janet or a Mariah) you guys would be called publicity stunt up the wazoo, even though both of those women have been giving money, housing and scholarships to the poor their entire careers (more Janet I guess) but honestly these same fans would call foul and it makes me wonder is it David you’re happy for another reason to give Madonna all the attention she needs?…..regardless, I hope she’s sincere and I hope she’s doesn’t warp him into thinking she created the sun too.

Patti I guess you dont remember Madonna being in Russia recently with her kids during her tour.

They have traveled often with her and I dont think that is a bad thing for ANY child. Being with their parents is the important thing.

I seem to like these pictures better than those of the AJ and BP family. The focus here seem to be all on the kids, while there were on the couple…(think it’s because that couple are “better looking?”)

Nice seeing how these kids interact with each other. Haven’t seen a picture of Mad and Z interact with each other… don’t remember it. Can’t see them without the parent(s) being in the center…

There is so much love for that boy, you can see it in “all” their eyes . They will be a blessing to him and he will grow up to be a blessing to them and very likely his people in Africa when he becomes a grown educated man. I am very happy for them all especially young David. God only knows what kind of life this child would be left with without the love and support of his new family.

I’m not devaluing what she’s done by the way, I think it’s great. Although I do agree with #7, the international community would be far better served by the elite mega-rich donating a proportion of their wealth to help thousands of people rather than saving one at at time. Why does one deserve more than the rest? Because he/she is cuter, funnier, etc? Doesn’t seem fair to me but ah well them’s the breaks.

My point? Lourdes looks SO much like Madonna.

David still has a biological father, for his sake I wish Madonna just be a foster mother and not adopt him, so he can legally and freely remain the biological father’s son under the guise of law.

Madonna the publicity ***** bought herself her latest trinket, what next?

1. Ideally, a child is raised by the biological parent who LOVES the
child. However, as the thousands of adoptions in the USA and
other developed nations prove - there are many biological parents
who DON’T LOVE their child. It happens. Most adopted children
in the US have one or both parents alive but who don’t care. All
the adopted children in the US have extended families,
grrandparents, uncles and aunties who DON’T WANT these
children. That’s why they are in orphanages. David’s father may
have placed David in the orphanage because he is too poor to take
care of him. Alternatively he may have put David in the
orphanage because he didn’t care enough to want to take care of
him - and only wants him back when he realises that he might
have hit the jackpot.

I say, better that David is adopted by a family who wants him,
then kept with a father (sponsored by the Ritchie family) who sees
him as a money pot. David can always visit his family when he is
older. He’ll get to know his biological father and sooner or later,
work out the truth for himself.

2. Why is Jennifer aniston or Angelina and Brad’s name brought
into this thread? Are you obsessed or what? free speech,- sure,
me too.

I know only two people, who were adopted. The first showed me all his scares on the head (under his hair). He was beaten each day on the head. He was adopted to work hard every day in the company of his adoption parents. He was like a slave and didn’t inherite. This went to the biokids. The second was adopted by religious fanatics and ended up in a madhouse, after using LSD. Then his parents took him back. David, I think, will have a better life, a good life. But adoptions are often not this good doing thing, as it should be. The crimes committed by adoption parents to their children are way higher than among bioparents. Under 7000 adopted Russian childrens by US-people, 13 were killed by their adoption-parents. Not count the physical abuses.
And when Davids’ father wants his son back, why not help him with money, so he can raise his child? Wouldn’t it be great to see both happy? If Davids’ father could raise him, the boy would be better of in his village with his relatives. I know what it means to have no roots. You’ll never find a place where you feel at home, you are everywhere a stranger. No money can substitute that.

As far as I’m concern that father should be thinking his lucky stars that the child he gave to an orphanage is now being looked after in a very stable home as oppose to a orphanage that has 500 other children in it. If you all want something to do you need to send money to orphanages around the world or adopt a child. DONT WORRY FOR THIS CHILD ANYMORE HE IS SAVED BUT YOU CAN WORRY ABOUT THE OTHERS THAT DONT HAVE HOMES YET.

Well, maybe they wouldn´t be seperated if their real parents would work instead of drinking alcohol or hanging around all the time.

How about they start to do something on their own instead of always depending on other countries donations.

If you have a fear of black men, then that is your problem. There are good black male children who grow up to be lawyers, doctors, politicians, world leaders and downright good citizens. To see a child as a black toy speaks to your distorted view of humanity. Hopefully, Guy and Madonna will raise their child to be a good man period. I feel sorry for people that have to see race in everything and to stereotype people according to your fears and prejudices.

What the heck is with the comparison between this little boy and Zahara smiling in pictures? Most of these pics look like they were actually taken inside her home…whereas most of the pics I’ve seen of Zahara have been by paparazzi photogs. My point, one is a relaxed, calm, familial environment and the other is quite a bit more hectic and scary with a bunch of strangers. One can’t expect the same result in these two different situations. If Angie and Brad leaked pics they have taken inside their home perhaps we would be able to make a true comparison of this ‘smiling’ theory. Since they haven’t done that to this point, it’s silly to assume what has or hasn’t occurred as far as the interaction of their family on whether their little girl smiles or not (even though I do remember seeing a couple of pics of her smiling). I’m certainly not a fanatic of any celebrity and don’t know any of them from a can a paint HOWEVER it appears people are picking at this couple, in this instance, for no reason.

P.S. The pics of the little boy being transported from Africa to London where he was surrounded by shutterbugs in the airport didn’t display this smile…his environment being in a calm area without all that madness brought the smile out. It’s not that hard to grasp in my opinion.

If this is meant to say that it’s Brad and Angie’s fault that Z is not seen smiling, then you are so childish. Don’t forget that Z spent the first half of her life in an orphanage, where I am sure she didn’t get all the attention she needed. That affects a child’s development a lot, not counting the genetic factor. Some people smile more often than others. And as a poster pointed out above, David was playing with Guy in the smiling picture. So don’t try to pin the blame on Z’s parents for what she appears to you. Think of what she would be like today if she was still in the orphanage, or even if another couple adopted her. Would she be better off? Don’t let your hate of a couple cloud your judgement. It reflects on you, not on them.

I have adopted two little boys from the states. I think that all the critics on her back need to stop. The fact that she took a child out of the condition is cause enough to leave her alone. I don’t care what her motives were… preventing the death of a child trumps EVERYTHING! I want people to know that we don’t have to leave the state to adopt wonderful kids. Please check with your local Adoption Division with the DHS Office in your area to hear about great kids here in USA!
