I think the turning point in his life was filming Troy. he know he can’t count on that *****. filming a film faraway form LA was the best way of ecape from that *****. probably a trial separation for both

I loved Kalifornia. Was actually watching it the other day. It’s my favorite BP movie, and I think it’s one of his best performances.
As for Babel, I can’t wait to see it. I’ll have to wait until Nov. 10, but I will be there on opening night. I’m thrilled that there is so much buzz surrounding this movie. I honestly think Brad has a solid shot at an Oscar nod.

On the covershoot. I think Brad looks great. No longer wants to be preceived as Clooney calls him “pretty boy” Pitt. Brad Pitt is a Father, Lover, Friend, Movie Actor, …. A great looking Man.
BTW USA Today gave it 3 1/2 out of 4 stars.
Brad is the HOTNESS!! His face shows sexy and maturity!! He is happy and content with Angie! He loves her!!! He loves his life with her and thier children!! CHINN’s GET OVER IT!
Brad looks really refreshed in this photo and he’s supposed to be losing sleep taking care of the kids and angie. LOL. He’s so much different and real. That’s total hotness!
Brad looks yummy. Seriously, I am not seeing what the haters are seeing. He looks real, and incredibly attractive, so apparently, that’s a problem. If his face was frozen or completely smooth and flawless, then they would accuse him of having cosmetic surgery or having the photog photoshop his face. Nevermind that he looks exactly like he did on Today and at the TIFF press conference; in neither instances, the Barbara Walters lens wasn’t used.

Brad does look a bit like a much younger Robert Redford in that pic, particularly around the eyes and jawline… mucho yummy.
Anyhoo, a big shout out to Ben from the previous thread. Buddy, you are clearly a hater, and yet you are still my bud. Rest assured I´m praying that you release all that hate one day soon, and rejoin the human race.
And in reference to dumbing down, your heroine Opes/Okra is the Queen of Dumbing Down to her Mini-Van/Suburban women. If only they would all open a few books to read about the world around them, they would not have to depend upon a narcissistic/egomaniac to tell them what to think, and how they should feel about some event. In a way we should all probably be thankful that JA is the way she is - I mean what if Heaven forbid they did have kids, etc. we would never have the Brad that we have today.
Sometimes things happen in life for a reason, Nicole Kidman dropped out of MAMS and Angie was brought in. How could he have known then all that was to come. She has definitely made him a better man and for his legions of fans - we know that this pairing is a match made in heaven.
It was fate that their worlds collided - they found their soulmate in each other it seems.
If he didn’t go through all the trials and tribulations with JA then he would never have been at a point to find Angie.
Yes - it sucks to have wasted all those years, but we all love him now even more than before because there is a whole other side to him and this is only the beginning.
I hope they procreate even more and increase their family - it would just be heaven.
On a side note about the Oscars - I was wondering, did George Clooney have a movie this year that would possibly be nominated? Was it something about Darfur? Wouldn’t it be great if Brad, Matt & George all got nominated? It would be a great night on the red carpet.

You put in words just how I was feeling about Brad’s life as it is now, compared to a few years ago. Despite all the hateration against him and Angie, I hope they will stay strong and together for the children’s sake and that they know that we BAMZSers are behind them all the way.

He is the man!! His masculinity is beyond limits right now! And yes the photographs are from the Babel press conference. He may have some lines under his eyes but that’s what I love about him. He is REAL!!! Even that he was labelled as the sexiest man alive twice he doesn’t care. He still has his baby blue eyes, his dirty blond hair, his beautiful nose, his putty lips and of course that KILLER body!! And all of that in his 42 years old. The man is sexaaaaayyyy!! LOL!

Clooney’s movie that is in Oscar contention this year is The Good German. Cate Blanchett is in it as well, as is Tobey McGuire. I’ve read the book, which is one of my favorite books - its abnout an American Repurter named Jake (Clonney’s character in the movie), who travels to Berlin after the end of WWII to find Lena (Cate’s character) who he had a romantic relationship with before the war. There is some murder mystery too when an American solider turns up dead in the Russian sector. Thats just my best recollection of a summary of it without giving anything away. :)
