Nicole, Naomi, and the Nephew

You guys are too harsh. Those kids love nicole, it is evident every time she comes to sydney to visit her sister and parents, and it was evident at the wedding last year. If he did not want to be carried, he could easily walk. I don’t think she has done anything wrong, she is standing by her man ( agreat characteristic which many people lack these days) and supporting him in his battles. Everyone has problems and we should give both of them credit for dealing with it, rather than letting it go. I think they are a great couple and great people. As for the idea that nicole never sees her children, that is RIDICULOUS. Just because we dont see her, doesnt mean she isn’t seeing them. She deliberately doesnt attract attention and has said she doesnt like the spotlight. Her children clearly love her and there is no doubt this would not be the case if their mother never saw them. I think we should praise her for keeping her kids sane and free of media pressure. Many hollywood parents fail to do this and this leads to kids who get invovled in the wrong scenes. There is nothing wrong with supporting and protecting your kids, especially when they are so young. You guys need to get perspective, imagine if you were her and you picked up your nephew and suddenly you are a victim, or showing off! Come off it, that’s absurd.

Why is she at Naomi’s house with her nephew and not at her own home? Is it because the paparazzi can’t get close to her own front door but Naomi’s is easily accessible? Accessible enough for the family photo op that she couldn’t get on her own door step? Food for thought peoples.

In response to all the people who say “why isn’t Nicole with her own kids”: I’m not fan of Nicole Kidmans. In fact, I find her kind of annoying. But it seems that some people can’t win no matter what they do. The celebrities who are seen in public all the time are accused of “whoring their kids out to the press” and those that aren’t seen in public a lot with their kids are accused of neglecting their children. Obvious some people just want to see the worst in others no matter what, and if they can’t find a problem they’ll invent one.

I am not sure what I think. Nicole handled her divorce from TC with class, I thought, but since she has become very saavy with the media. I think she played the wedding to the max…so I do think she is spinning some of the press right now to her benefit, to get sympathy. Mind you, I’m sure she didn’t think she’d be in this position so soon after getting married. Nor do I think that Keith Urban thought he’d fall off the wagon after 8 yr of sobriety. Very sad…and I fear the stress of the constsnt media attention has had an impact.

As far as Nicole and her kids, we don’t know how often she sees them, but she herself has said in an interview earlier this year that she would like to see them more often, but was very busy with her filming, PR commitments and spending time with Keith. Now, as a Mother myself, I can tell you that NOTHING would keep me from my kids. And with her resources, there is no need to regret the lack of time with them. She can hop in her jet and fly to LA anytime she wants. So that part, I am disappointed in. She seems like someone who is very wrapped up in herself and all things Kidman. And unfortunately, it looks like her kids are not a priority to her. TC isn’t my fav guy, but he seems like a very good parent.

I do wish them both good luck in this. It’s a tough road ahead of them, and I wonder if Nicole has what it takes? Keith has done this before, and I’m sure he can do it. But will she be able to give him the support he needs to make it? I dunno about that.

That kid is like a ham…he’s Hamish. What a ******* ridiculous name for a child. What? Was Baconish and Steakish taken?

Kudos Jennifer, that ignorant person has no respect for others, unique names are great especially if they show the heritage of the family. Go Keith and Nicole, haters have nothing better to do than bash this great couple. Love conquers all!!!!

Just reading this thread, which is full of garbage from so called Keith “fans”, there’s no doubt in my mind that this bunch of immature and unreasonable fans drove Keith back to drinking again. These “fans” have such high expectation of Keith to live life the way they have scripted it. Nothing can ever make them happy. Just think back to the Atlanta event which was full of s__t from this group of “fans”, and you’ll understand the kind of pressure Keith is experiencing. The best thing that can happen to Keith will be for this group of “fans” to simply walk away and find another country music star to adore.
