Brad & Baby Z’s Shoulder Ride
Daddy-daughter duo Brad Pitt and baby Zahara were spotted together recently in Pune, India. Or were they? The above picture reveals Brad carrying Zee on his shoulders but the surroundings are reminiscent of Namibia with the wooden stick picket fences. But Brad had a mohawk back then and not in this picture. And that kid in the red t-shirt doesn’t look like he’s from Pune! What say you?
UPDATE :: It appears to be Pune as Zahara is wearing the same capris and pink shoes as when she was at the Goa airport.

Those palm tree things look pretty tacky. But it could be Pune, they do have palms in India. Maybe the kid is another guest at the resort??? However, regardless of where it was taken, it is a lovely picture of father and daughter!

Wasn’t the last picture we saw of Z and daddy the one with her bracletes and Brad carring her? It seems like she had much more hair in that one than she does here. Very cute picture though. Never get tired of seeing any pictures of all of them, even blurry far away ones, lol.
Could be Pune or just before they left to go to India, before they were in Holland. the setting could pass for some make believe village that Disney or Las Vegas are love doing. Didn’t they go somewhere else for a weekend that was not Jaipur? Cute pics. Thanks JJ.

Sent a note on BAMZ, but wanted the rest to know that I was given a 2 disc ‘Fight Club’ DVD. It has 4 Audio Commentary Tracks, 17 Behind-the-Scenes Vignettes and Deleted Scenes and More. Can’t wait to put in DVD and hit ‘play’. This is the movie where I really, really noticed BP’s acting abilities and fell into the BP love fest.

Oh, some new on the Madonna/Angie thing. Now, my friend is gay, and loves, loves, loves Madonna, but as he’s told me, ‘Angie is my b—-’. He told me that Madonna is not friendly with either Brad or Angie, it’s Brad who’s friendly with Guy. My heart always melt whenever I see a picture of Brad and any of his kids, it alwys brings the picture to my mind of the O12 interview that he did with Diane Sawyer tearing up about wanting kids and having family on his mind. He sure does have his family and is reveling in his daddy role.
Bamzs fans better save this picture because 12 months down the line when we see a picture of Brad carrying Shiloh on his shoulders, the haters will come out of the woodworks accusing him of favouring Shiloh, “how come he never carried any of his adopted children like that, we knew he will favour Shiloh.”

It must be in Sindh Society, the residential area whre they are filming. It was reported they are using 3 adjoining bungalows, it could be that Brad and Z were strolling from one bungalow to another. I think one bungalow is where the scenes are taken, the other one used for crew and cast craft service, the other one is used for hair and make-up and temporary trailer for Angelina.

I told her to visit a friend’s hair salon that deals with curly hair and now ‘Ms Thing’ — all of four years of age — thinks she’s just too cute with herself. HA! HA! There is no truth to that. Doug has said publicly that his family loves Angie. There is no animosity. Doug is the only one in the family who ever speaks out publicly (and very rarely) Brad’s parents never have said anything publicly about any of his women..

Alex: I’m happy for ALL of them. My sister mentioned something yesterday, which I thought was very ’spot on’. She said, “Why would Madonna and Angie be in the same room together — two Alfa femals in one room — Wow, Angie would kick her a– if M got out of line”. AG, I just finished reading the last thread, you were on a roll yesterday. So you have just as much disdain for Oprah like I do.
I know she is doing wonderful things in Africa, and every little bit helps. But she does not show any empathy for the people. I guess my dislike of her started a few years ago when she did this 2 hour show on ABC, all through the program, she talked about how these aids orphans pulled at her strings, and how they were her children and she was considering adopting them. Right at the end of the program, before she said she decided not to adopt because she is not cut out for motherhood. Yes, I can respect that. But with Oprah’s wealth and fame, the doors that could have been opened to those children would have been unimaginable.
One of the worst problems with African countries is corrupt leaders who are propped up by the West. When people graduate from college, there is no employment, most of them end up migrating abroad in search of better life thereby causing more brain drain. Who is going to build up these countries if they are losing their most educated and talented to the West?
One of the few leaders who actually had the right idea was Jerry Rawlings of Ghana. He came in and basically got rid of most of the corrupt leaders, but Jerry’s mom was Irish and he spent some time there growing up.
The new Liberian President is a product of Havard Education with conntacts in IMF. These exposures and contacts make their jobs of rebuilding easier.
Why applaud Angie and Brad is they are giving these children access to very good education, access to the powers that be worldwide, that should they decide to go back and help their own people, they have all the tools and contacts that will need to succeed. Oprah with jer money could have done that, she could have all the nannies that she needs.
The trading practices are so heavily against the African countries. I saw on CNN where Ethiopia is locked on some kind of Battle with star bucks over coffee beans. Starbucks pays pennies per lb of coffee but we pay 2-$3 for a cup of coffee. African countries cannot make decent money on their exports to the west, most of the markets are closed to them any way. So African problem is multi dimensional, every little bit helps but I am a firm believer in the adage that said give a man a fish and you feed him for a day but teach a man how to fish,you feed him for life.
