You know I like Lainey. I enjoy how much she makes me laugh. Intentional or otherwise. But she CAN be annoying. The whole everything is for PR stuff she says is bs. She thinks that if she is proven right once it means she is justified in her PR ideas. Which is a **** why to try to win an argument. But what I do like about her is she is at least willing to talk it out with the people that read her blog. If she is wrong and you email her she will correct her mistake. I can take her more than Ted C. and the rest of the boring gossips. Also, since we were on the subject of correcting the whole Namibia charity gossip that was posted on Raderonline. There was a FAN on this blog! that did a lot of hard work to correct that story. I forget her name right now. So if anyone deserves credit it wa the fan not JUST Lainey.
And the Paltrow thing from last week was interesting. Lainey will always go for the conspriacy. But the min. it’s Paltrow she has nothing to say other than her nose matches her husbands which means a happy marriage for Paltrow? LOL! Whatever lol!
I agree with Clinqua about the VF issue. Of course Brad is not at home or in India seething over what GQ and VF did to him but I doubt he has good feelings for them. They ie Leslie Bennets did a nasty thing with the JA interview. It’s not about being petty. It’s about respect. They disrespected Angelina, their children, the marriage he had with JA, and his integrity. Why on God’s green earth would Brad Pitt want to let bygones be bygones? They did some low things last year.
IMO Brad did Esq. because he does not plan on working with VF or GQ any time soon. And they know it.

Holy crap, people! I post things that I find that are new and that are out there because I thought that anyone who spends as much time obsessing over these two as WE do, would want to know what is being written about them REGARDLESS of whether it was positive, or negative or hysterically ridiculous as the astrologer piece. It’s just information. And since it’s in the Indian Press, maybe THEY might come across it, too

And call me wierd, but to me, Angie’s Man looks way sexier on a contruction site all sweaty and grungy than he does on that ridiculous VF cover in white tube socks and baggy boxers. The white socks and droopy drawers are so…I dunno, Day Room at the Nursing Home, or something like that. Of course the fact that VF is using it under a false pretense of wanting to feature the artist makes it a double turn-off.

I can’t believe VF. I really can’t. I’ve never been that big into celebrity gossip or pop culture in general until recently, but what I realize now is how manipulative the media really is.
I plan on going to Grad school for Journalism and this stuff is fascinating. Never in my life have I seen such a lack of journalistic integrity. I read that VF article by JA and I thought it was manipulative, but I’ve been trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I realize now that it’s clear. VF is no more than a “high class tabloid”, which is just as bad as a “high class hooker.”, sounds better than a prostitute but still the same damn thing.
There is one part of the VF article which to me is a blatant lie. I’m actually going to look it up again just to make sure my eyes didn’t deceive me.
This is also an election year and what the media does with celebrity when an election year is here is just fascinating. All the drama and scandal come out to distract the masses.

Also it explains a lot to me. Every time I see BP in photograph these days I see him glaring at the camera. Some people take that as his misery with Jolie, but he’s not glaring at her, he’s glaring directly at the camera. He’s obviously upset. It’s the same feeling I got when he was being interviewed by Diane Sawyer when she started in on his personal life. His response to her was classic, and I quote it myself sometime, he said “I’m a 42-year-old man and I don’t feel like I’m in the position to have to explain myself.” I thought it was brillant and a good way to tell the media to **** off!
I doubt that Pitt is sitting around at home seething in anger over this, but he doesn’t trust the media and it’s obvious. They have crossed the line with him and the only thing he’s giving them these days are stories that have little to do with his personal business and they are pissed off about that because they know that BP sells. For all the detractors like Jonathan and Ritzygal, they know at the end of the day BP = their bread and butter and the minute he might crack and give them a nugget of info about his personal business is the minute they will all try and be his best friend.

Much as Brad’s old hunting buddy (a la Cliniqua) did her share, IMO, LB did the worst kind of biased and unfair reporting I have ever seen. If VF was OK with that kind of reporting, then they are worse than NE, or Star, because they they are using their reputation of not being the usual tabloid rag, to in fact, publish the most sensationalistic, biased article. Everytime I think of that VF article, I still get angry. So yes, I’ll wait for Vogue, Babel, TGS. I hope that People will print these SEXY, SWEATY picx of Brad soon so I can buy it.
Since Brad or Angelina don’t pose for VF, people see VF as a Team Aniston Magazine. It must be nightmare to VF brain. Being in too old news is never nice for a fashion magazine.
