‘The Good Shepherd’ Preview
Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon gave ET an exclusive preview behind their upcoming film, The Good Shepherd (out Dec. 22). The film takes places during the early years of the Central Intelligence Agency, when a founding member finds that, as the country slides deeper into the Cold War, dedication to duty has a price. At least she is dedicated to her job not afraid of showing her “bad side” (which I don’t think is ugly) for the sake of camera angle and showing her expressions. She isn’t hinding her face with a hair curtain which a certain insecure sitcome actress does.
Jasmine, i think that is a very insensitive statement. Angelina is talented and Jennifer does not light a candle in comparison to her either in acting or looks. There is just no basis for that comparison. Gia is a wonderful movie as well as girl interrupted. We in Africa love Angie

AJ is a beautiful woman inside and outside. She has an unconventional beauty that don’t fit the cookie cutter fake blondes of hollywood. She is a good actress with the potential to be even better. She is a devoted mother and partner to BP. Haters can hate all they want. However, the fact is this woman is doing good things and has a good heart. I am looking forward to seeing the Good Shephard.
wasn’t hating - more observing. Just a case of internal dialogue uttered in cyber space. I think she’s stunning - precisely because she isn’t a cookie cut out replica. And not really having seen a bad portrait of her I was intrigued.

I’ve never thought Angelina was stunning or a good actress. She lucked out the the Gia & Girl Interrupted roles that should could identify closely with.

Please people stop fighting over AJ, JA, and BP- all of them have more money than most of us put together. Do you think they are at home reading who’s on they side. But if you must know- Jennifer is gay (yes) gay- she fool Brad Pitt and everyone else. She was born a man but wished she was a woman. I just feel sorry for Brad Pitt, that’s why he left her because he woke up one day and her ugly mask was off. He always wondered why she only wanted to take it up the azz. Don’t feel bad for JA she final found someone to live her life with-that person is vince (he is cute, sexy at time, but innocent and he will one day wake up and realize he been sleeping with a needy man). As for AJ she just want to have her kids and someone to help her (brad pitt, want to have kids and find AJ to help him) together they going to show what beautiful people really look like………………I love AJ, JA, BP but don’t be blind JA don’t know how to act (but I love friends), AJ could act but could get lesson from Halle Berry, BP know how to act because he did it for almost 5 years. Thank you—If AJ pregnant again -I hope its a boy because right now the girl pool is winning.
I have a feeling that the movie is going to be pretty mediocre. Why? Because of the makeup they put on her. The hairdo, the dress, the coloring… are all so boring. I see nothing but the styling and coloring.
She looks a million times better just looking natural.
Yeap, definitely going to see this movie… Wherever I happen to be at the time, not missing it…

I think TP is totally right! I’m not trying to be a hater, more peace maker. Just because someone trashes someone you are a fan of, doesn’t make you like AJ less right? So why give them the satisfaction of a response?

Thanks for posting this. This movie takes place in different time frames and both characters are aged at times in the film. These are actors!
This used to annoy me like when Joan Rivers would make comments about some actors at award shows. Some would have their hair dyed or have a beard etc, and Joan would go on and on about how she didnt like their looks and why did they do that?… I wanted to scream THEY ARE ACTORS… !!!! WHICH IS WHY THEY ARE AT THE AWARD SHOW!!
It is understood that this is a period film. Then, MD is much better an actor in portraying a man of the period than AJ the woman. Maybe they had chosen a wrong female lead. She’s no doubt beautiful in her own right, but she just “doesn’t look it”.
Good acting is supposed to allow viewers “forget” about the actor and feel the character. Looking at the trailer photos of the female lead reminds me of nobody but AJ herself.
Looks promising :)

Well, it goes without saying this is a must see for me. Honestly guys…..it’s understandable if some people don’t go see this movie. After all it wasn’t written by an overgrown frat boy and will most likely not have one of those inane dialogues like…”I want you to want to do the dishes, why would I want to do the dishes…” So, please let’s not shame them into going to see a movie they will never get. I don’t know about the rest of you but I like people who know their limitations.

Awww….be gentle on the poor dear. It must be hard wrapping their heads around a movie where the actress is less concerned about wearing the latest fashion and more concerned about getting into the character. Again, this is why we must be understanding of their shortcomings.

Reviews? Who cares about reviews! It’s a movie with Angie in it–therefore, it must be a great film. It cannot be otherwise. Anyone with the least bit of intelligence would agree with that.

Please if you are fan of JA, it is fine but you do not need to come to Angie’ site and say bad words. Also vice versa. Brad & JA were divorced because they were not happy together, they had different purpose in life and it is nothing to do with Angie. Also people should not say Angie is in better position now because she is with Brad now. Women are not defined by men. It seems most of us are women. So I ask people to grow up and be mature. You are defined by your own accomplishment, and Angie and JA will be also defined by their own accomplishment. I admire Brad and think he is a great man. Women should be happy if her partner is great men but should not be measured by her partner. I am not a fan of JA not because she is no longer with Brad but because of her behavior and her personality.
If you do not like Angie because who she is and it does not agree with you, then it is ok. You are no fan of her. You have your own preference. However, if you do say you do not like her because she is with Brad, then you are very immature and sad person.

Jennifer Aniston is not a good actress. Many of my co-workers agree she does not have talent. She is only good in sitcom. She was 1/5 of the Friends cast. Look at derailed, rumor has it, they all bombed at the box office. as to the breakup, it’s her PR that make it to 100M mark. They created this “are they or arent they” fake relationship.
I definitely will not buy her DVD nor will I see Jen’s movies.
by the way, blood pressure is related to age, diet, exercise. it has nothing to do with blogging. i suggest you read up on that.
The thing that gets old is that when anyone says anything even slightly negative about AJ orBP, the come back is fugmaniston, chinmaniston, etc, when she has nothing to do with this topic. NOTHING! Definitely going to see this movie. I love Angelina & I adore her truly. Brad not much but since he’s involve with Angelina & he’s the father of the kids I can tolerate him. He OK in my books.
This movie is also an ensemble cast. Aside from Matt & Angelina, Robert de Niro starred & directed this movie, Alec Baldwin, Joe Pesci, Billy Crudup, William Hurt, Timothy Hutton, Jason Patric, John Turturro, Chaz Palminterri.
