Mrs Pitt lends support to refugees

Angelina Jolie has been taking a break from filming to do some work for refugees in India.

She met Anand Sharma, the Minister of State for External Affairs, to talk about the difficulties faced by refugees in the country.

The actress is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency.

This was Jolie’s first official engagement in the country, where she is filming A Mighty Heart, a movie about the life of journalist Daniel Pearl, who was abducted and murdered in Pakistan in 2002.

Accompanied by UN officials, Mrs Brad Pitt praised India’s efforts to help refugees from across the world and said she was grateful for the chance to talk to the Indian Government.

“We’ve agreed to work together to continue to help refugees and also the Indian people,” she said, “so it’s an honour for me to have this meeting today.”

I wanted to add that a “rumor” going around is that Sin City 2 will not be made anytime soon if ever, that the crew has been told that, and that the main reason is that Angie is pregnant and has told RR that she is unavailable due to her pregnancy. There has been talk since January of this year that RR wanted Angie for SC2 as “Ava Lord”, was waiting for her to have Shiloh and recover, and then would make SC2. This was never confirmed by Angie or RR but was talked about by several people who were in Sin City. Make of that what you will, remember it is only a “RUMOR”.

LOL! I find it amazing that Robert Rodriguez wants Angie so badly that he’d postpone production indefinitely! GMAFB. RR DOES have his hands full with that mess of a film that he’s co-directing with Quentin Tarantino. The other reason I find it hard to believe that he’d hold up the film a second time for Angie is that there’s already rumblings about a SC3! If Angie’s not available they’ll just recast the role. The studio wants to capitalize on this movie while it’s still semi-fresh in the public’s minds. They’re not going to want to wait forever for Angie. Plus, even if she is preggers she wouldn’t be available for SC2 afterwards because she’s committed to doing Atlas Shrugged, which they hope to film next year after Randall Wallace finishes the new script (he wrote Braveheart).

BTW - if Angie is preggers…big deal. I’ve got 6 siblings…most of us are only 15 - 20 months apart! My mother had 4 kids in 7 years! So that means that by the time one of us was 6 or 7 months old…she was knocked up again! People do it all the time…and on purpose.

It cost $90MIL to make, according to Boxofficemojo.com. It’s gone over $100MIL domestically, and it’s at $38MIL foreign. It should easily get to $150MIL total in another week or two. It only dropped 18% this week. Just think…if it does another $17MIL domestic it’ll out-gross the overhyped TBU! Sorry for the X dig…couldn’t help myself…

Hey Alex - not only is Heidi Klum about to pop her third kid, but it’s her third kid in 3 1/2 years…with two different men. Her first kid was only a year old when she had the second one with Seal! Now she’s about to drop a third kid.

These losers can complain about Angie possibly being preggers all they want…but at least her 2 kids in 2 years will have the same daddy!
