Brad Pitt is the Mann

Peeps- family/friends/children/someone that you see everyday.

I think the papz want Brad to correct them when they said ” your wife” or to admit something to them, they are fishing information, they want to see a reaction from him….sneaky little b**tards.

Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman are two good examples of how Brad will beautifully age. They both have continued looking like themselves, and very attractive, even without the smooth skin and sparkle of youth.

There is a saying that “after 40, we have the face we deserve”. In other words, a beautiful “interior” will still make a face beautiful in older age.

There is a bittersweet feeling in comparing the young/older Paul Newman or Brad photos; they illustrate the impermanence of youthful beauty and, by extension, of life itself. But there is beauty in faces other than that in their 20’s. Our idea of beauty can be widened to include not only youth-connected ideals.

Look at it another way-they help us understand this thing about life’s and time’s constant march-it’s reality after all, and it’s good to accept it as a natural thing, instead of ignore it.

Usually, it’s those who deny reality that are most hurt by it late in life.

Lastly, think hard on what Absolute Beauty means to us: usually, we think that if we looked like Brad in his 20’s, we would lack nothing in this world, we would have all the love and happiness possible. DID Brad have it???

We all know the answer, and it’s a resounding “No!”. His loves were like loves of the common man-with their heartbreak and denied family, with their excitement and regrets.

What about Angie-all her astonishing beauty did not bring her the love and happiness one would think, until she met Brad. She lived through divorces, loneliness and pain like all of us.

Her happiness with Brad now is not depending on their beauty-it depends on their similar personalities and their similar views of what a happy life is.

I really believe that if they each had met a person with whom they “clicked” in these things, they would be with that person, even if great beauty were not part of the deal.

Their previous life taught them what they were all about as persons, what they wanted, what they lacked. Once they knew that, it was a matter of time to meet the person who matched. So many of us go through relationships and marriages before we know who we really are as persons, and what is really important to us.

Angie is rather unique, in that she figured it out relatively young-in her 20’s. I think that happened because she is so connected to her feelings, and doesn’t allow others’ values to obscure her own. She formed her personality, her goals, her desires, her ideals, her priorities, and then, she met Brad, who had done the same.

That’s where their maturity lies, that’s why they’ll stay together for their whole life, God willing.

Brad is like fine wine. He gets better with time. Brad of yesterday was of no interest to me. He seemed vain and narcissistic when he was with that twat. The Brad of today is delicious. He is filling and full of intensity. He is like a nice chilled merlot with chocolate covered strawberries. How cool is that? He may not appeal to the younger crowd but he sure appeals to the “grow-up” ones. The best is yet to come with him. The truth of it all is that that his true beauty comes from his soul rather than the physical.

I can’t wait for him to get older….reminds me a lot of Robert Redford.

Estelle, I know what papz are trying to do to make them confess something. What the papz don’t realize is how good these two were with papz before they got together and now that they are together for almost 2 years they are playing them as PUPPETS and garsh darn it I LOVE IT :lol: Go for it Zen masters, we bow to both of you…. :lol:

May I say one thing. I hope it doesn’t appear as a call to arms for some, are instigation by others, but watching these two as they go about their lives, it is very hard for me to place anyone but each other in their shoes. I’m not certain another man, or woman could live life as Brad and Angelina have chosen to live it. They appear quite comfortable being citizens of the world. They seem content and accepting of whatever surroundings they are in. They adapt their lives to each new place so calmly. I’m assured that anyone in their respective pasts wouldn’t be able to appreciate the life Brad and Angei have chosen for their family. I think its great and amazing that they found someone who gets the other one.

Yes, Guli, I am tearing! Grew up with that feeling of reverence towards Ataturk.
My dad is a retired colonel, so our house in Ankara is like a shrine to Ataturk.
He was so ahead of his time. And quite a handsome Turk with blue eyes. “The Rebirth of a Nation” by Lord Kinross is a good read about his life.

Thank you for the link to Access Hollywood. I can’t believe he flew in for the premiere and then out again. What a wonderful man!!! He said he miss his peeps. How cute!!! I wish him, Angie, and all their children much happiness.

My dad being from a very poor village in Rize was sent to a military scholl after elementary ended up with relatives in Istanbul to go to the Kuleli and thanks to Ataturk, he was sent to UM to get his engineering degree, thats when he met my mom here :lol: My Dad like yours was from the military and we still enjoy going to “Ordu Evi”, geez you have to see the one in Bodrum, I being the child have access to going in and out it and using the facilities, it is like club Med…..:lol:

Brad Pitt Takes on Tinseltown Pandemonium

Brad Pitt fans went wild over the weekend, as the superstar made his first red carpet appearance in more than a year for “Babel.”

Brad came straight to “Extra” to talk shop and gush about his family crop back home.

“Family life is beautiful, it’s just the greatest,” the hunky actor dished.

Pitt’s powerhouse performance in “Babel,” opposite co-star Cate Blanchett, is already generating Oscar talk for the star. But Brad confessed he doesn’t need an Oscar to enrich his life.

“I am happy right where I am,” he confessed.

As Brad flew out to Los Angeles for his film’s premiere, he left his family in India where he and Angelina are making a movie about Daniel Pearl.

“India is a really special place,” Brad said. “I’ve gotten a lot of time off to spend with the kids; it’s been a really nice time.”

While Pitt was working the red carpet, thousands of miles away Angelina met with New Delhi officials and refugees.

“We spoke about the concerns for disabled people, chidren, orphans,” Angelina said.

Back in Los Angeles, Brad shared his views on Madonna’s controversial adoption.

“Their intentions are right; they’re trying to give a kid a home and an education, who probably wouldn’t get that, ” Brad said.

In “Babel,” Brad and Cate play an American couple caught in an international incident, which then ricochets around the globe.

The beautiful Cate, who went glam for the big night, revealed that she jetted in from Australia for the grand celebration.

“Isn’t that crazy? I’m leaving at the end of the film tonight,” Cate said.

But before we said goodbye to Brad, we had one last gift: a check for Global Action for Children and for Doctors without Borders, in honor of the tireless efforts that he and Angelina have done throughout the world.

“We’ll never turn that down,” a flabbergasted Brad said. “Thank you, they are both really worthy causes and will do a lot of good.”

Madam TC (not to be mistaken for Tom Cruise, I’ll never do that to you). How are you? Yeah I was a little under the weather….after all these years, My African Body still isn’t used to the cold weather or should I say weather changes especially in Chicago where it goes from Cold to warm before you can find your Jacket. So everytime the weather changes, my silly immune system shuts down leaving me open for whatever is thrown my way. I’m good though, thanks for the concern. I’ll “see” you in a few….leaving work.

By the way, it’s obvious my my is a child, please go easy on her….she lost someone she grew up with (insert wailing sound here)
